Restart your phone and shit stops working lmfao. Also TR containers arent supported...

When I login landscape on Note4/5.1 so that I can fully benefit hackers keyboard it just hangs. One othet thing cannot move files due to permission issues. Device not rooted thou.

Took a bit of time to figure out how to make it work, but now I've done it seems to work O.K. A bit limited in functionality, I'd like to see a fake password and dialer access. Paid for version requires root maybe in a few weeks if I hit limitations on free version.

Used this with TrueCrypt to keep my sensitive files secure on the go. I have been using TrueCrypt for many years and am happy to have found a stable app that supports my containers on the go. The built in file manager is nice and makes it easy to add or remove files from the container on the go. Nice work!

by X####:

I tested it and it does not work on my Galaxy Tab A (Android Version 6.0.1) unless you make containers with simple passwords. Every time I create a True Crypt container that includes *symbols* rather than just letters and numbers I get the error "wrong password or unsupported container". It works just fine on my Samsung SM-G920V phone Two more stars if I can get it to work on my Tablet

L70%
by L####:

Good attempt at making mimicing true crypt features. But get exceptions when moving objects into the container.

X70%
by X####:

Good program. Could be easier to use, and have a better UI. Can read Truecrypt volumes. Doesn't seem to read Veracrypt ones. But dev needs to do more homework because wiping files on smart cards is meaningless. The data is redirected to different sectors just before hitting the drive. This error means I have questions about how secure this program is.

X70%

Had the paid version but they messed it up so bad I does not work anymore. Went back to the free version. No response from them at all. Probably going over to Cryptex Secret Safe.

X70%
by X####:

Might be promising, but the button Select is .. useless. File explorer and inserting to the encrypted volume is a nightmare: only one file by file, not a folder, (Select button? why for?) then each time has to go up to root folder, back back back then paste to that volume, create a new folder for subfolder, then go to insert one file per one... haizz, I give up. It's better to compress with a compress file with password like RAR or ES Explorer and then explore files then... uninstalled, could not go on to test further.

I like that has no network permissions, that it has compatibility with Truecrypt, and has some internal viewers. This way I feel I can securely and flexibily move files between devices and platforms. Thanks!

E70%
by E####:

It works as stated. Seems a bit too slow and I am not able to open the large files inside the container 50meg or even 20meg without copying them out of the container, which for me defeats the purpose of a mounted container. I think the app has potential. I will try it later on down the road to see if it improves. Thanks for your work dev.

If you're looking for crypto apps, this one works. A little clunky, but part of the pervasive encryption plan.

K70%

Works very reliably with containers built by app (have not tried to use with Truecrypt container) I agree with others regarding the file manager - It's not intuitive, but it works. I noticed that if doc inside open container is in use by external app, and phone restarts, file remains on phone unencrypted. If encryption is as solid as advertised, this is a great app.

Z70%

I had problems with other encryption apps and I gave this a try and it's pretty good, the customization helps and it's easy to create/mount volumes. I like that I can open volumes created in other devices (something you can't do with other apps). In my humble opinion I think the UI could use a bit of new design (like material design), and the file manager (especially the image viewer) feels outdated (perhaps that's by security design).

Unless you both (1) root your device and (2) buy the paid app, then you can't use truecrypt as mounted. In other words there is no difference between this lite app and just putting your stuff in a password protected zip file: you still have to unencrypt your stuff on disk to access it..

It was working fine earlier on my rooted Galaxy A7. But now I am getting error "Looks like file system is not FAT". Tried the full version and both on SD and main memory, but not working. Pls help. But earlier working with the same container!!

So now I'm out eight bucks. Also doesn't work on external sd. Won't mount or open a single truecrypt volume of mine. Wow...

L70%

Does not do what I was wanting to do with it. Needs to be able to link up with existing truecrypt/veracrypt folders that I have to get a better rating from me.

P70%

Using it more than 2 years without any problems. Minimum and required permission only.

For long time ago. Edit: can't browse the virtual drive with a 3rd party file browser, downgrade my rating from 5 stars to only 2. Edit: not compatible with Android 5

Does the PRO version support mounting on a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with OEM kernel? Also, I stored some pictures in the container and some pictures were turned sideway. I rotated them in EDS but when I went back, it was back to sideway.

Opens (AES only or Serpent only or Towfish only) TrueCrypt containers perfectly in EDS Lite version. EDS website a must read for proper use of this app and limitations in the Lite version. This is an amazing app when used properly. Will be getting pro version. A Huge Thanks to the developer!!!

K70%

Except for the slightly clunky interface, this is a great security app. Truecrypt support means you can use the encrypted data on your PC as well.

X70%

Go to settings and set it to mount as read only.. That will at least let you view the files for now. Well it did for me =)

K70%

It's possible it's because I had a three level encryption.

This app works great, but it would be nice if it could open TrueCrypt volumes using the NTFS file system

"Context initialization failed" on S5 with the BS KitKat OS. KitKat will cause this error because of a "security feature" from Google if using on an external SD. I'm not sure how not being able to write to external storage is a security feature..... so I had to root, void my warranty (which Samsung has NEVER upheld in my experience with a dead phone that was not rooted, they just blamed me for an obvious manufacturer defect) and use NextApp SD fix.

At the moment, this is the only program of this type with encrypted containers that works right on my phone. Luks manager and Cryptonite are buggy and broken for me.

But. . . . Must have versions work in other operating systems specially Linux, . In some how some times i need to transfer encrypted date from tablet or mobile to PC , or from there there. But any way great app , , thax.

...but now after the Android 4.4.2 update, all I get is a "context initialization failed" error and the container won't open on my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. EDIT: That error only happens if the container is on the SD card. If it's on the device it opens fine.

Nobody can restore if dont know the password. But can copy paste delete.. Cannot open or recover the data contains..super app.

D70%

For those with stock updates, either don't use your sd card, or open volume as read only. If you don't, you're going to have problems - not the fault of this app maker, just the annoying default new android security model.
