The paid version crashes at start but the lite version works just fine, cleaned cache, reinstalled, nothing changed.

I can tell the developer tried on this application, however it just doesn't work on my device. I have a rooted Galaxy Tab S2. First of all, I don't find the interface intuitive. Way too many taps to get to things. In the file browser,; why not just have "move to encrypted container button"? Instead, currently have to highlight the file, tap the copy button, tap to show the hidden menu and then you can select container. Also, move and decryption operations are extremely slow on my device. Worse yet, the two containers I experimented with creating each seemed to get corrupted quickly. After opening each once and then locking them, I was never able to open either container again. Instead, I was told to view log file to see the error, and log file was almost 500 pages long. Thank God I was only testing and didn't have real data inside these containers. Having previously been a software developer, team lead, and architect for 12 years of my life, I know that Multi-Device development can be really tough. And I'm sure the developer will read this and want to reach out and try to help me solve the problem. However, as unfair as it may seem, as a consumer, I have way more things going on in my life than trying to help a developer get their product working. There are other products on the market. Ideally, I'd like a refund but the time frame has passed. So if not, I will count this as a donation and maybe check back in the future to see if the product has improved

Well folks, it's one of few greatest apps! Developer is great man. He always response you and help ASAP. This app is really worthy to price and even more! Very flexible settings and it works on most devices. Hope you'll never regret if you buy it. My grade is 5+

This is a great app for local encryption, but it would be much better if it supported more cloud services.

Happy to have an app such as this. I tried this w/o root and it was not for me because you could not mount containers like drives. With root this is a great app is great. Thank you.

Crashes. May or may not open the container depending on the device. User Interface could be more friendly.

Rating drop from 5 to 3 due to unable to get root access on my Galaxy S8.

Absolutely the best file encryption app. Also a great layout design which is easy to use and easy to get used to.

Used to love and use this app on a daily basis. Had issues when I upgraded to a Android M device. Since last update of app it has worked like a charm. Only complaint is the second reboot that's required if I reboot my device.

Basically allows for opening of Truecrypt and Veracrypt containers. Decent. UI confusing. Cannot open VC containers made on PC as far as I have found.

New issue: This app needs a Global time-out, where after x minutes of inactivity, all open containers are automatically closed. This is a serious omission. Currently an open container will remain open untill specifically closed. I know you can set an individual containers property to close after x minutes -- ( Does NOT work, by the way. On my phone, an open container will remain open, long past the time-out setting). And I still think the menus are confusing and need an overhaul.

Because I mounted a veracrypt container and its accessible in fx browser. I saved some data to it. Then I switched off the phone by pressing power button long time. Ok. When I restarted the phone and mounted the container data was not there. It wasn't saved. Data I mean just a folder and a text file creation. This means data is not written in real time. Data is saved only when you close the container using eds. This could be a problem.

I bought if for use with VeraCrypt containers created on windows and it works flawlessly now. When i bought it, it didn't work and I chose to give developer a few months to work out any issues and it works perfect now. Android Naugat nexus 6P rooted stock rom.

Why would somebody take a world_beating app and turn it into a scrambled mess? Used it and loved it for ages. Now seems to have become a horror story. Can I have the old version back NOW? Many months later - software gets worse. Created a container on my PC with: blabla1.rdx blabla2.rdx and EDS pops these out as: blabla1.RDX blabla2.RDX then refuses to allow opening with authorised .rdx reader, but offers to open with non-appropriate software, eg podcast reader (which doesn't have a clue what to make of these files). The earlier versions of EDS worked fine. The later versions seem to be a complete nightmare.

Feature wise the best encryption app available. A bunch of good ideas all mixed in a somewhat confusing UI and with several bugs/quirks. Still better than the copetition.

Horrible user experience, extremely buggy. What a waste of money

Very slow when opening large VeraCrypt encrypted volumes. I am not sure what it is actually doing but it takes like five minutes just to open/mount a 4GB image. It takes no more than half a minute on the computers using VeraCrypt. This makes it much less useful.

Opening the settings crashes the app and slows my phone down to a crawl for several minutes. I've had this app half an hour and cant even access the settings.

I have been spending hours troughout this month trying to figure put what i have to do to open a container thats stored in a usb drive and EDS just womt access my usb drive at all even tough it is mounted. HOW DO I ACCESS THE FILE FROM A USB DRIVE???

Seems to be working great now. Dev. responded within 24 hrs. Thank you now I'm back to using a great encryption app.

Says "root access not available" after being granted root permissions with LineageOS, and as a result I'm unable to place containers in my SD card

Can't access an external image viewer. Opens the viewer then the viewer closes right away. There's an option to use an external file manager, but there is no way to enable one. The program crashes when I open it. Opens up and runs on the second attempt though. For local storage get the Lite version and don't waste seven bucks. It works better than pay version.

i thought it created, accessed and managed files within, containers that it creates within the the device, but it just codes over pre zipped containers. Boring.

Works on simple veracrypt files but I haven't gotten it to do multiple-encrypted or hidden volumes.

App crashes after trying to decrypt a usb drive.

There appears to be no way to access an attached OTG USB stick.

Same problem as Jagadheesh. If I don't close the container before I restart, I can lose data. Kind of annoying. I informed the dev of this years ago. He said he didn't have that problem and dismissed it. Otherwise, it's been just fine.

Have to change mount mode to use EDS FAT driver to mount containers in Android 5.1.1.

Most secure method I've found so far for Android. Just needs to decrypt faster and if the wrong password in put in it should let you know. Now with the update i cant make a new container. Needs to be fixed. Says failed to read and write. looking for a replacement. Ill go with the strongest app. With the best security. Also looking at Cryptex secret safe and Andrognito 2. Glad to see no responce. Makes it easier to find something better. How do I Uninstall the update?
