SourceView Bible

It took a lot of work to get this app filled with this rich data. And now after a few months the Android version seems stable. Good job! Looking forward to many hours of reading, studying and discovering!

It seems slow to find verses. It seems to occupy and consume too many device resources. For one used to other Bible apps this seems confusing and too millennial, maybe it will appeal to them!

Why isn't this built to sit on my SD card? Why does it have to sit on my internal memory & consume precious space? That's my only grouse.

Enjoy this app a lot. It searches the Bible way differently than other apps and is a powerful tool in conversational Bible studies, Witnessing and person Bible study. App is growing in strength and they are working out bugs. Highly recommended.

Running on an LG G5 with Android N. No issues. Excellent resource.

I like the app a lot but if audio was added then I would upgrade.

Despite all the last 2 updates, I don't see any improvement so far. Can't still copy and share verse and still takes forever to load books. It has a long way to go

I've always wanted a Bible app like this! Love the description about the books and how to read it.

It took a while to get it but now! Please make available for tablet though, it doesn't even work on my little 7"...

I love the layout, the content and the way the app shows the interconnectedness of God's amazing plan for human history through His Word. This is going to stimulate a lot of people in their ministry thinking and outworking as they consider the impact of their lives from this fresh perspective. The absence of a 'home' button knocks off half a star as does the fact that I am not driven to the help screen on first run, which is one of the best I've seen. This must be the first screen a fresh user sees.

I use this great resource almost every day. However, it is 100MB in size and I'm not able to move it to an SD card. This action would be incredibly helpful especially for Android users or else your phone storage will fill up fast.

This is a Bible app unlike any I've used before. The depth available here is unbelievable. Rather than a digital copy of a physical book, the Sourceview team has taken advantage of 21st century technology and made it applicable to the Bible. Just like a normal Bible app, I can look things up by chapter and verse. But I can also look things up based on who is speaking, who they're speaking to, the profession of the speaker, the time period, and so many other things. So amazing.

(3.5 stars) I liked this app, really interesting way to breakdown the bible. However the UI needs a bit of thinking through, it is not easily apparent how to get back to the home screen (it is ironically called 'discover') most apps have a simple visual way to get to a home screen - this you have to first learn a new terminology ('discover') and then find it in a drop down list. Great app, love it, just maybe needs a few tweeks to be more intuitive.

This app is incredible! 200+ purple from over 50 nations spent 40,000+ hours researching and developing this app. Never before has the body of Christ had a tool like this to study Biblical truths specifically related to their calling! This brings the Bible alive in all new ways! I love it!

Seems like a powerful tool once all the bugs are worked out. It continually crashed on my Samsung Edge. And the cutesy names should be abandoned and go with standards such as "Home", etc.

This is an excellent bible app with a great wealth of ways to study the bible, not just for finding the verse and a simple concordance, but also for sorting by theme, speaker, application of the bible to different areas in society etc. etc. Greatly enriching for studying Gods Word and finding truth! Highly recommended...

But it crashed, and I'm sure of the future development and improvement of this app.

Just released, so has some bugs to work out, but an incredible app nonetheless. I look forward to seeing future additions (other translations, dictionaries and study tools), revisions and polish which will most likely make this my go-to Bible app.

Been an Olive Bible user for some years, but this app stands apart for its devotional and creative study features. The NLT keeps the freshness for the one looking for a conversational relationship with God.

I have been through a lot of bible apps and this is the best one yet. Doesn't need to always been online. Incredible search tools!
