Music Collector Inventory Organizer UPC Discogs for Android
Didn't work worth a damn. Slow, search didn't return results, bar code scan didn't bring up album that was in the database. Once I fiund it, couldn't click on album to find details. My experience was terrible.
Good app with quick barcode scanner and album info finder, only thing that stops me investing is there is no way to keep alphabetical artist when sorting to chronological order.
Great app
One place for all ur music collection brill
Love the idea but paying over £10 to scan both cds and movies is ridiculous, actually would like my money back please for the movies pro
The app is friendly. But my only concern is that crashes too much.
Ok I wasn't paying 11 quid for collectorz so I decided on this one for my CD collection. Now my collection is mostly old school hip hop and upon scanning the barcodes the cd's don't exist so I have to enter manually which is a bit tedious. I like the look of the app but the input method isn't great. Also it'd be good if it let you crop your photo of the cover. Some of the info on the items it returns is utter rubbish, so again have to constantly edit entries. Keep updating and improving though and who knows
I use this app heavily for my large cd collection. It works very well and it is pretty straight forward in its use and in adding new albums to the catalogue. The app has paid for itself several times over by keeping me from buying the same album twice. There are a few areas for improvement but hopefully with time they will be addressed and added into the app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone with a large collection of albums for it's ease of use and it's portability.

I do luv this app. Easy to use and almost accurate. Still have to b work on, but the only way to get better is by supporting it and giving feedback. Good for any serious music collector. Not for the NOW Generation that do not have the pleasure of collecting physical music media. *** My second review session is that after a year or so thexcited app now takes forever to load, after 3 scanned items it freezes and need to check if it actually saved the item. Very slow now***
Great app. I get a prompt helping reply, always, when have a suggestion. Easy to use for my cd collection. Offline option would be fab!
Bought the PC version and have yet to get help with errors. seem only cares about the money. avoid at all costs. Sent 2 unanswered emails.
Installed to try before paying... Worthless, maybe if your tastes run to Beyonce and Bieber your golden, scanned 12 cd's, it recognized 3
Paid for this app and while adding my collection it just randomly deleted the whole thing without me doing anything. Now I've got to start over.
Why is the upgrade so expensive?

If there was a facility to save data to SD card this app would get 6 stars from me!!
New update makes it so 4G will not connect to your collection and you must use wifi. This update changed nothing to the product whatsoever besides my setback. I use to not buy doubles when shopping for my massive vinyl collection. If fixed I'd go back to giving a 5 star rating. I even paid for the full app!
It's missing uploading the tracks and track names then I will give it a 5 star
Added under 10 CDs, app keeps crashing. Not worth the headache.
Would not even let me create a user profile to start. Hard to use an app that DOESN'T WORK!

Got the pro version and half the barcodes I scan aren't listed. Sometimes it's the right album, wrong artists. No genre information. It's a shame this isn't as good as Movie Collector. Looks like I'm out $6.
County classic rock hip hop and r and b music
You'll see how
Waste of time, If I can't get free version to work right why in the hell would I even consider buying pro. UNINSTALLING
In theory this could be a music lovers dream to quickly keep track of and build a database of your recordings but way too many CDs are not found when scanned to make it of any use. It seems to work better with more main stream recordings but when it comes to classical it really does have a blind spot. As somebody with a collection of over 2500 classical CDs I was hoping to be able to use this app to quickly build a comprehensive catalogue of my collection but as it will only find about 1 in 10 of the CDs I attempt to scan (it has a complete blind spot with some independent classical labels) it has proved completely useless for what I wanted. I really question the way this app is marketed as it clearly does not use a comprehensive database to access recording information.
After 5 or 6 cds you have to buy the scanner. Now I want my money back. After about a half hour of scanning there is only 1 disc listed. If I have to back it up after each cd (I have 900+ disc) it will take a very, very long time to scan all of them. The only reason I got this is the My Movies app is great and this sucks. Update info: on editing you can't correct something after you save even if you delete and rescan. But you can if you start from scratch and enter all information manually.
I don't know why, but the Apple version of this app is far superior. Trying to manually enter barcodes is a waste of time as it simply does not work. It also sticks and crashes way too much. A real shame.

The barcode scanner is a great idea but in this case is almost completely useless, it has only recognized maybe %5 of my LP's so far. Also when I edit band names it never saves the edits, therefore many of the bands with "the" in their name are jumbled up!
This would be a great app if it only worked as it should. It almost never saves edits, and doesn't recognise near enough of my CD's, making it a waste of time, as well as the money required for full barcode scanning privileges.
Nice.
I've been looking for an app to help me catalogue my record collection. It seems there are only two in the play store, and this is one of them. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the UI is. There are few glitches yet (like when you save an album to your collection, the app doesn't offer any confirmation that it's been saved. I accidentally saved a Chicago album twice, and there doesn't seem to be any way to delete them once they're in your library.), but overall this app does a good job. It comes with a barcode scanner, which is great, and you can also manually search the database, although I'm not sure where the information is being pulled from. The available album info is very detailed, even telling how many tracks there are, what form of media it is, etc. I'll update this review after I've tried it out for a while longer.
Really helpful software

So far so good. I upgraded to the paid version and I love the editing options. Surprised at some of the titles I have to manually submit, but overall impressed. * So after a day of scanning and editing entries, went to go search for an artist in the catalog, only to find that you can only search by album title?? Not cool. I rarely ever need to look up something by album title (I rarely remember the titles of albums as it is). If there's something I'm missing plese let me know!
