Collectors: Movies, Books, Music, Games, Comics for Android
While I love the idea, as a diverse collector when the cost of your app is so high it would bite into my budget for any toys for two months? Nope. The web interface is okay but I couldn't even add anything manually which, given some of my items being mislabeled by the search app is a huge deal. Not only for insurance purposes but for accuracy.
I have been a collector all my life. Whether it was music, movies, toys, art, etc. It was pop-culture, I collected it. I was always losing my pen & paper lists of what I had. Now with this app, I will NEVER lose anything & I will know what I have w/ the click of a few buttons.
Initial database doesn't even work, says Barcode is "the wrong type" or that it is associated with multiple items.... no kidding, that's why I wanted an app, to sort through my items. Then, if you want to expand your database to make it more accurate you pay $6.20 PER additional database type (which are completely free through other apps, not like they compiled them)... the kicker, if you want the app version for that specific database, only $5... Do not waste your time with either.
I paid the money for the Toy Cars plugin and tried it out for my diecast collection. Right off the bat I found an issue I can't look past. To add multiples of an item, you have to enter a quantity in the field for that particular item. That's a problem. I collect loose and packaged copies of cars and I don't always purchase them at the same time, place or for the same price. I need to be able to add a new instance of particular cars to my collection so that I can accurately track purchase date/price and even storage locations. Fix that, and it might have a chance with me, but as of now, that's a deal breaker. It's a shame I wasted the money.
I think it's a great app, and of course it's going to cost something most good apps do, I have over 8000 movies and I can't tell you how many times this app has saved me from buying duplicate movies, easy to use and keep on my phone, I had no problem paying the developer and I also paid the one time price to unlock everything which is alot cheaper then doing eaco one buy itself. I was not influenced or endorsed in any way for this review, the product just works that good.
The more I use this app, the more I find wrong with it. I paid to unlock of everything because of the number of collections I have. I thought it would be nice to keep track of all of them in one place. I regret doing so and well be pursuing a refund.
Great app for collectors! I have been using this app for some time now and i love it! Easy to add new items or look up items in the database. I would highly recommend this app to any collector of just about anything. Keep up the great work, guys!
Free for books only. Scam alert! Shame on you. Im uninstalling immediately.
This 'collectors' version, leaves one a little lost... the ICON implies its a 'one stop shop' for at the very least, those four collection data input fields... yet, the fine print only lists "Books", yet you can still download in seperate files "Movies" "Games" and "Books" ... why revamp "books" into something like this, with a rather misleading set of info-sheets, Icons and well, just about everything. and your PC version is a little over priced as well. Unless of course its infosheets are also incorrect and it allows entry for ALL collections at that price??? and when or why not provide ability to sync to a cloud service of the users choice? i mean, theres only a gazillion clouds out there, including personal home clouds now... If you want to stay uptodate with tech and users requirements... might spend the money but as it sits... its leaving a lot to be desired, despite how lovely and easy it is to enter a barcode (rather then ISBN) for the movies.. not sure about 'books' though other uses imply a not so easy ISBN lookup either...
I just wish every category would cost about 2$ instead of almost 7$ to add more collectables. I think I'll just stick with the free books and the paid funko category for this app though I'd like to add games and comics, graphic novels etc for less.
I'm kind of confused, on the icon there's Music, Film, Books and games.. But I can only Input Books? Why should I need to pay for the things that seem garenteed?
Downloaded it, if you have a crapload of books thats fine, if you have anything else, coins, stamps, you will need to buy that category.
Worthless garbage don't work
Let's you download for free, then charges you per catagory in order to submit entries
Free for book only what a waste
Alright app for movies but missing a lot of comics
App deletes my collection
Just need an app that scans barcodes, finds in a database and saves to an inventory!! I'm starting to wonder if it's just me being a dummass. This app sucks anyway.
Over £5 to store your Funko collection on an app.... next joke. Money grabbers.
Now I can finally see that I have too many videogames...
So the app is free but you have to pay for everything just to use it.
TOO much login. deleted
All good no complaints!
Great app just have to link with the single apps
Toy cars
I've tried a few different collectors apps and this is the best I've used. I've been using it for movies and video games and love the amount of detail I can keep track of. It has a few issues occasionally but nothing that really impacts my using it, would give it 4.5 stars so I've rounded it to 5. This has become an invaluable part of managing our video game collection for my wife and I.
Additional modules are very expensive. Assuming they access the same database as other Sort It apps then the asking price for this app is way too high as you will end up hand editing/adding every entry by hand to ensure the data is correct.
This app is great and so helpful. I collect video games and this app is great for helping to prevent me having doubles in my collection. It also helps me organize my movies, toy cars and so much more!! I'm beyond grateful for this app!!
Pez category will not give options to scan, and will not save entries. Crashes A LOT. Having A LOT of issues with the Funko category.
Purchased the 80 percent off pack and went to start putting my Lego collection in, app crashed after adding 2 items. Couldn't click on the searched item. Couldn't do may other search. Shut the app down and restarted numerous times. All I get is a black screen and nothing else. Sometimes the title screen comes up butostly just black screen. Not too impressed after spending all the dollars.
Doesn't recognise the barcodes
Keeps going off, won't scan my item . Easy to use tho
No thanks
Paid to be able add all my Star Wars action figures and they pretty much all come up as 'wrong Barcode type'. Absolute garbage app. Don't waste your money!!!
Not sure why people are giving this bad reviews. I have had no issues with this app. I spent the 5.99 to unlock the funko portion and I'm completely satisfied.
Half the time the app does not work. I paid for the entire app and can't use it a lot of the time. Save items and they don't save. Sometimes have to input the same item 4-5 times before it actually saves it. Or if i use an item that's alresdy posted but need to edit the information it will not save. I have literally spent hours trying to save 4-5 items in my collection before it saves. No help from them when I email. When i first purchased the app it was great, Had no issues. Now. It's crap. From 5 to 1
I downloaded this on my other Galaxy for free about a month or so ago before it broke. Now I've redownloaded it on my replacement phone and restored my account, but I'm trying to add new books and suddenly I'm limited on how many times I'm allowed to scan the barcode that way I'm not spending a year manually typing it in. Really not happy about the window popping up every few min telling me to upgrade. Not cool guys.
I installed the free app because the description said that you could use a barcode scanner to create a database of any type of collectible. Once I downloaded it I saw that the only scanner that was free was for books only. For $6 more you could purchase an extension to the app for a toy cars which I did. After paying the $6 for the app I tried to scan barcodes on my toy car package only to get a message that says that toy cars are not unique to the barcode and a barcode scanner it would be useless to try to
Bought the PC version and have yet to get help with errors. Seem only cares about the money. Avoid at all costs. Sent 2 unanswered emails.

I have used this app for a year or so now and have had very few issues. The few hiccups I have had seem to have been fixed with the update. I love having my movies logged into an app that I can look at and prevent duplicates. It is wonderful!! I feel the added option to put who u loaned the item to and where you got the item are great! Having that info written down will not only prevent duplicates but allow you to get the loaned item back without forgetting who has it. And if you put how much was spent you could see if you really got a good deal if u found the item out and about later on after u purchased it Love it!!
