Baristame - Coffee Guide PRO for Android
Hi, i really like the app, but the screensaver always turns my screen off during brew and it is really frustrating. Please fix this.
Great application, but more languages needed 'cuz sometimes I must google 4 some words 4 example in the morning when im sleepy ( im russian
Do not find any difference between free and paid version. Disappointed.
Great little app with interesting details about the type of beans to use, the type of grind, ideal water temps... Also a variety of different coffee recipes and types of coffee makers.
For Da Pros
Must download!!!!
I brew on French Press with this app and I am making really good coffee. Totally worth the money I paid. I RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE WHO ENJOYS COFFEE and want to brew themselves. Also, it looks great.
It has some very simple features, but they all work well. It would be better if there was a way to put our own recipes in using the icons already there (eg for non-upside down aeropress) and if it wasn't purely in Fahrenheit, but it's already really good!
An explanation at an introductory level. Of you want to learn the art that goes with the science, then enroll in a barista class, you'll have fun while you learn....however it may spoil some cafe coffee for you when you realise how many people cannot do it well.
Add more recipe to make coffee, composition between milk, coffee etc
I used the Aeropress instructions today, extremely pleased with the results. On the Chemex you might to make a note to pour the water out of the flask after wetting the filter.

Aeropress .. for 14g = 205 g of water. In the instructions it show to add double of 14 in blooming stage then add 160g more water and wait 1min.. so in total its 160+28= 188 and the required is 205 !
Very little content and to clunky to use as a timer / ratio. Also no matter what brew method you select the ratio of coffee to water stays the same.
Very informational app on coffee. Use this every time I prepare french press or moka pot coffee by measuring the water to coffee ratio.
I made a cafe, based on this app as my guide....
Really great app! It teaches you about different types of brewing methods and I really love the coffee-to-water ratio calculator.
But add more methods please.
Neat app if you need some quick coffee advice
Packed full of facts
I enjoy this app and use it fairly often.
Hopefully article added
Mantep..mantep!!
Very useful for beginner
Explains the basics and a handy tool.
Great very informing
Style over substance, I'm afraid.
Thanks
Muy bueno
I have learned a lot about coffee from this app.
The measurement conversions are wrong. 12 fl. oz of water doesn't require 176 grams of coffee. More timer options would be nice. Other then that, great app. Will update rating after fix.
I have enjoyed this app for quite some time now. it has a very nice look and has basic info on coffee. However where it is gaining in looks it is lacking in information. I am disappointed how it doesn't even have some of the basics. Like how it doesn't even have info on cappuccino machines. But I still recommend it if you enjoy learning how to make drip coffee in a new way or would like to learn your coffee drinks.

Nice redesign, Material next?
have you ever heard "kopi joss"? it's one kind of Indonesian coffee drink style. just a coffee with charcoal in the glass.. and so many others around the world.. cause coffee isn't just Italian style.. please update our coffee library..
This is a beautiful app that serves it's purpose. The only thing I would love to see is the option of choosing a prefered brewing method in the calculator so I don't have to search my method all the time.
This app does a better job of bringing info on all these different types of coffees/espressos together in one place than any website I could find. I wish I had found this app sooner because it would have saved my 20min of Googling (which is how I found this app, mentioned in an article). This app is totally worth the $.99, the devs deserve the money just for aggregating this info for me. They did a better job than any website I found My only complaint: please let me swipe through!
I love having an app dedicated to this purpose, especially the timer and measurement calculator. However, the timer really needs customizable alarms. As it is, it just makes a little noise once, instead of being an ongoing alarm.
I've been a barista for a few years and I got this looking to learn a bit more and make sure my knowledge was on track. Overall I liked all of the content and the way it was laid out but I just wish there was a little more content.

I love the app! It helps a lot when im trying to get into a new method. Like going from french press to a pourover method. Excelent tool for learning about different drinks and drink components as well.
