Stereo Bluetooth Headset SBH50

It's quite compatible with my Xperia mobiles but will it working with other model phones with the Bluetooth. I have a Moto G4 plus right now so it works most of the time but it gets disconnected internally and the buttons won't work until I un-pair it and pair it again. Gets a little annoying plzz look into it. Thank you.

Connection especially via NFC not that great. Had a whatsapp call which it recognised as an incoming call but didn't follow through. Had to talk on the handset. After hanging up i saw it was still counting the call

I have Xperia x performance. The app doesn't come up when i connect like it did with my other phones. Please contact me with an explanation or a fix this issue

I have used this Sony SBH50 for a few years now. I actually bought in Buda pesht 2012.This delightful device has performed really well with all my Sony cell phones right up til my Xperia Z5 Premium. I imagine it will for a few more yet!

Many times, the sound drop down but music continues playing on phone. It needs disconnection and then connect again and again. This happens always. Please review its software. Is there any way to downgrade it? Before it was good. But it sounds good when its playing. This is the positive appreciation.

I was amaze with this system. I am using Huawei P6 which had very poor sound output but with this device all problem were solve. But having issue in immediate connection with Bluetooth.

I am a galaxy s4 user. having no problem with sbh50 itself. but with both sbh50 and smartwatch. it sometimes disconnect with the sbh50

How about: 1. Enabling a 'Find Phone' or ' Phone Disconnection' notification? 2. Enabling an extension that works with lifelog? 3. Enabling an extension that allows us to reply to messages with 'voice typing'? 4. Last but not least, enabling a working 'Find Contacts' or 'Phone Book' extension?

When I connect my sbh50 to phone either by BT or NFC the application smart connect not start and the smart xtras dnot working any more is there a solution I'm really disappointed from Sony

I have used this Sony SBH50 for a few years now. I actually bought in Budapest 2012 however it has performed really well with all my Sony cell phones right up til my Xperia Z5 Premium. I imagine it will for a few more yet!

First device had a cracked screen in a week & I've spent a heap on other SONY DEVICES. I'm lucky Telstra let me out of my Xperia z2 contract but I still have my Xperia z2 Tablet, with 600mah & lollipop upgrade it's performance is PATHETIC.

It was good before upgrade. Its hard to connect even i have to repair the connection. Please fix it...,... Its fixed now, application is so great. Updated: its already fixed. Thx

Anyone having issues with the extra features (text notifications, call log) on a LG Nexus 5? I installed the software on my phone but it doesn't show up in the notification bar. I cannot access the extra features at all. With another phone (sony xperia z2) it does work perfectly fine, so maybe it's not supported on LG Nexus 5 devices?

If you're not using a Sony mobile, and for the app to work properly, you'll need to install Sony Smart Connect app too. This app itself does not have an interface directly from the app drawer. After installing the Smart Connect app, connect your SBH50/SBH52 and then the notification will appear. Enjoy! (The device does have some problems with non-Sony devices, like frequent disconnections. I know this because I use my 'SBH52' with a Sony Z2 and Samsung S3)

When Smart connect and sbh50 driver is on..on a default phone messenger yes it beebs..you see the message and the sound is still clear.. However on other messenger like Wechat specially on viber when you receive messages from viber the sound play on loud speaker then comes back to theu headset like a wobbling sound..it wont play clear again till you restart your bluetooth or headset.. It also constantly drops.. Fix this and those will go for 5stars.. -from mediatek 6582 processor

The notification just won't go away.

Please fix the bugs Sony. You just spoiled the great device by providing buggy update. Google/Sony - Request you to please provide all the previous versions apk files, which were more stable than this version.

It adds a lot of features that I never new expected. For some people to know and access the full features please make sure to check (Notify me in accessibility under settings) Try that Neet ;)

Sony cell phone display on when call received. Due to same, various other applications opened due to display on touch screen.

I user Samsung galaxy and after install sony smart connect app I can use sony sbh 50 with Samsung a5 . try it frnz

The app updated the headset and now the audio keeps dropping and it has to be switched off to get it to work again. I'm a Samsung user and the app has now stopped working altogether after reebooting .

After one month experience,now my sbh50 can't turn on,it's display on when charged plug,but just the battery display... I had tried to push and hold power button for a few minutes,but nothing happen....died....:')

I am using it with my Xperia M2 Dual but the forward, backward and pause buttons are not working from day one neither the songs paused nor it forwards/backwards where as in my friend's.Xperia Z1 it works well.Please fix this issue to keep my faith in Sony

I am not able to access this application , neither it is displayed on the status bar. Kindly tell me the way how to use it . I am a non sony user. Using motorola g 2nd gen handset.

The latest update isn't great.. Text to speech initially will be on low volume, then later increase on its own - during notifications, such as missed call.. And also the volume control is now same - for both music and notifications.. The volume control is merged with that of phone - it was good earlier, when it could be seperately controlled....MW600 was far better than this device... Please fix these bugs Sony... Hopefully Sony does not forget abt these devices...

Seriously. I tried emailing the devs but haven't heard back. Someone should give them some kind of award for messing up an otherwise good headset. The list of annoyances would be too long to post here. If you're considering buying this headset - Don't. Sony doesn't give a damn about the software.

The device frequently hangs. Problem with music resume after taking calls. Reconnecting after disconnecting takes time. Bluetooth signal drops when in s crowded place which drops the sound quality. Pls Sony I request to fix this issue.

Just started using the app and does seem to work well. Two minor gripes that can hopefully be addressed in an update. 1 No voice dialing/commands. 2 Track /artist details not always shown or when shown sometimes is the previous track.

I have used many sony products. I feel quality of products going down. Sbh50. Its buggy. Audio drop is huge problem. Calls are not clear. Button goes non responsive. Radio reception and audio quality is poor. Multipoint is additional confusion for sbh50 itself. Previous MW600 was awesome. Where as this one is mare waste.

The design of tye dwvice ia good. Featurea are good too. The only major issue wity the device is audio distortions and frequent diaconnections even though its is well in range..sony needs to.look into it else people will start loosing trust in Sony's quality products. This product is best example. Please note the brand product works fine 2ithout any audio distortions when in the same range when tested.

Very annoying and disappointing, I'm facing random and continuous disconnections, the sbh50 doesn't respond or access any thing on the phone like phonebook and media player controls, it doesn't connect unless I close and open the bluetooth on the phone or recycle the power on the sbh50, very inconvenient.

I really like sony products. Almost all of my gadgets are Sony. One thing from SBH50 I don't like is the ringtone. Please make it can have the same ringtone, messege, yahoo mail, and other notification sound as my phone or device. The second think I want to ask, why most of the time the SBH50 connected notification didn't show up? I really appreciate it if you do respon me. Thank you so much before.

Shows an ugly notification ask the time – even when the headset isn't connected. Also disappointing that this app doesn't let you do anything useful with the action button like searching Google Now by voice.

Does exactly as said and no issues with functionality. Sony FTW!

When using with xperia z it was great but with xperia z3 play, pause, next, previous buttons are not functioning. Sony please do something.
