Background defocus

It only allows 8 Megapixels even though the Xperia XZ Premium has a 19.1MP camera. Also the app doesn't save photos correctly, the circle just spins forever. But the image is saved to the gallery. I have to force close the app.

Absolutely diabolical. Where to start... Firstly, it NEVER manages to do what it says it does, EVER! And the worst part of it all, literally the dumbest thing, is that even tho it says 'can't defocus background' or something similar, it still saves the photo!! WHY?!?!?! If I take a photo with a background defocus app I want the background out of focus, therefore 17 normal pictures of failed app promises are ABSOLUTELY USELESS! Seriously frustrated with this useless app. It worked on my old Z4 but not on this XA1. This is one of many things that are putting me off Sony phones. Used to go on loads about how they're the best, but not any more and it's a shame...

Awefull app, most of the time can't blurr the background, whet it finally blurring, parts of the portrait blurred as well. Takes too much time between the shots. Takes too long to get back from picture to camera. Xperia z5 compact.

Failed on expectations ???????? When I first saw it in playstore i thought wao finally something to cheer about. But it gave bitter experience right from the first time when it said couldn't blur background ????????. It can blur rarely with less than even 5% of the time its used and that too with little accuracy. Failed on expectations ????????

Seriously this app is useless. Tried many times many ways many object still doesn't work. Keep saying "Backgdound can't be blurred" DONOT INSTAL IT. TRUST ME.

The app has a UI issue that the viewfinder doesn't strech to the whole screen. I use custom scaling. XZP.

Why only 8mp on xz premium, Sony's camera technology is lagging so far behind other phones, note 8 is leaps and bounds ahead. Expected more from sony

Tried everything to make it work but it keeps giving me the "unable to defocus background" error... Maybe it works on other Sony models, but it certainly does not work on the XA1.

Not supported to z5 premium dual. Its a 4k handset with 23mp so why it not supported plz check the issue. The app not shown blur option. It gives a msg as could not blur background.....

You most keep your breath because the app doesn't work with slightest hand shake. You can only select the front-end subject.

Sony needs to improve on this one. Doesn't work as stated, maybe once in a blue moon. Have to take a pic multiple times for one image.

Total nuts compared to the iPhone 7 plus portrait mode or even xiaomi. The blur looks too fake sony...

Can't uninstall, disable and it keeps updating. Stop it Sony! My internal memory is full of apps I do not l need or want!

Focusing square colour not changing to Blue when focused. And Not focusing low light & what about flash

I used xz premium, not perfect for camera setting, night shots camera or video are blur.

This app is really awful it can't defocus background completely and UI needs to be updated, Sony please do something your mobile phones don't have bokeh by their own so we need this kind of app, this app needs a big update, do something please, and something else is that let this app use the best quality of our mobile phone, 8mp really?? Hard to use for taking picture of people, work well only for taking still photos

Easy to capture background blur image, but even xperia xz have laser focus, it still always fail to measure which part is background and blur wrong part.

Why does the app reduce the megapixel from mine is 19mp to only 8mp? Please let it be 19mp or at least 16mp.
