TrackID™ - Music Recognition

You need to agree to let Sony collect data from your device and share it with whomever they like if you want to use this app. Not only that, their partners have their own privacy agreements that are not listed in the agreement I read. I did not agree to their intrusion and I'm uninstalling.

It's extremely rude to just delete all the data from this unnecessary new version without notification that it's being updated when it wasn't put on auto-update in the first place. Utterly rude and inconsiderate of users who obviously prefer the older version. Not only am I forced to use the new useless version, every single song from my history has been unwantedly cleared. How do you intend to explain a "great user experience" when we have to deal with this? Plus it still can't identity many songs, even new songs.

Works fine. I remember back in the day when this came pre-installed on every Sony Ericsson phone, good times. One star knocked off for integrating the lame Spotify rather than the superior Google Play Music.

Works instantly sometimes, but often can't identify songs that Google easily could. Also gets the artist correct but the song itself wrong sometimes. Ads everywhere. I decided to try it out because Google Assistant still doesn't identify songs, and was fairly disappointed.

No more frustration hearing tracks and never hearing artist / song title anymore, this gets all I wanted especially as my taste in music is country and with 3-4secs I have info

Nice app however it has trouble identifying most dance tracks. Great if pop&rock is what you're looking for. Linking up with Beatport or similar may broaden the apps appeal.

I think it's a great app .. put sometimes it's didn't recognise some songs. .. Maybe you have to Expand music library andadding songs form different languages

The app launch time is too heavy for lower specifications or older Xperia phones. It usually misses the song by the time the app launches.

I rarely give 5 stars to anything in Play Store, but this app deserves it, although I liked the old layout more ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This used to be the best app on my phone, but after the last update, there is a constant advertisement and you can't read info about the artist anymore??? Please add this function again!!

Is a wonderful app for music lovers or when you love a songand you don't recognise. Keep up the great works.

This is one of my FAVORITE Apps of all time!! Quick and easy to use, just tap the button, and all the info about the song pops up in seconds. It's never failed me!!!!

no good for all, often no match found and too many ads, and where's facebook login? i saved histories through fb!

A very good app. Very quick at identifying music I've requested, rarely have any trouble.

Please bring back top tracks and new songs from the "World" as it is now gone. Do I have to click on each country to see what's new? really?

Failed most the time. Only recognize some popular songs. What's the point?

Why Details Are Gone When Searching Songs... APP IS GETTING WORST...

The app works great and looks nice. But what happened to AndroidWear support? I don't see it on my SmartWatch 3 and here in PlayStore it doesn't have that tiny wearable logo anymore. Sony?

Did not recognize that one song I heard and couldn't find anywhere even though it's popular.

It's better than older versions. In previous versions you must wait a lot but now it's very good. And the FM Radio app song finder is very very useful. Thanks Sony :)

It no more shows the genre and the year of the song.. Get that back.. It's new interface is pathetic..

Excellent app it searches most of the played songs nearby and give full album info along with official download.

It identifies the music that I play to it much better than SoundHound I have not had an experience where it couldn't identify a song except when I was singing to it it could not identify what I was singing. But then neither could SoundHound

I'm allergic to haptic feedback (vibrations), please give us the possibility to disable this function in the app!!!

Great app. I have often wondered what the name of a song which I liked was. This app recognises the music usually in seconds.

it can't even play the music but the mic is fine it always saying listening music
