Xperia™ SmartTags

It was a good widget but unfortunately it is not working with Smart Connect (Updated version of LiveWare). In fact it is useless now!

I've never actually used this because I really don't know off I can use it for my phone, if anyone has any information about it please comment, don't email me, I Won't read it

It can detect the NFC tag but it doesn't activate the Smart Tag App.

App shows as downloaded in app list (in settings), but no app icon to click on and open. Using Z5 compact. Are the tags compatible with this phone? Is there a known fix to this download error?

I downloaded the app and once it was installed it didn't show up on my phone. Can't find it anywhere even after using search. Now my tags are useless

Loads of potential, one key development would be to automatically change wallpaper. So when you tag in to the office the wallpaper changes colour so it's obvious what mode your in at any time

I've always wanted a quick and easy way to switch profiles on my Xperia phones. This solves my problem nicely. I only have 2 tags now but I have ordered more as I'm very happy with this function. I gave it only 4 stars because it is missing GPS on/off/toggle. When they fix this I will give it 5 stars.

Tested on xperia T and nexus 7, both work well... sadly my black tag has gone missing, so maybe giving a idiot proof chain with each download so you don't lose them would be good. Seriously using the tags while the screen is off would be very useful, pressing the on switch and swiping is a lot of unnecessary work. Lol

It takes a few seconds to adjust things on my phone and who needs satnav to go to a fixed pkace of work? A good example of tech for its own sake

For some reason the widget does not display the tag im currently using. Abit annoying

Otherwise it would have been a very useful app. It specifically alarms are not working. They are activated. But is doesn't ring. Too bad for Sony

After upgrading to ics my smart tags do not work properly. I hope Sony can fix this soon

Allow as many functions as possible. Specially features like auto answer call... receive calls on loud speaker etc which will help surgeons and other professionals who don't always have hands free at the work station. Also, allow tags to be read even when screen is locked.

This App can not identify my ST although smart connect worked very well with my ST. Moreover, I think you should enlarge the function that Smart Connect can do such as change the phone to air plane mode ( I can't find it in add action, if it already had, teach me how to turn it on ^^).

You need the LiveWare Manager app too and it will work. Its has almost all the options available to it. I use it quite a bit on One X.

If it could enable/ disable airplane mode and work from sleep mode it'd be perfect. Alas itdoesn't so four stars it gets.

Good, just wish it would let me start gps like it advertises. I can start maps but not gps?

the app seems to not be visible after install. even for detection of xperia smart tags(well i tried on htc one m7)

I set the direct call for call forwarding to my home or cancel, it is not working when the command has # , please fix it or add a New action for call forwarding.

Excellent! Very useful. Though, would like it if I could use the tags without having to unlock my phone, hence thr loss of star.

I have the Xperia Smart tags, which work great with any NFC reader. This app does not work unless you also have an Xperia phone. It doesn't work on my Nexus 4 or on a friend's Galaxy Nexus.

For some reason, it doesn't work for Xperia SL.

I bought the Sony smart tags as they seemed to be the best with good support, I hope so anyway!?! The widget does not display correctly on my phone & the app only displays half of the tags available. Please can you share handsets with lower resolutions to use the app? I have a HTC Desire c with nfc obviously :-)

Presque parfait, j'aimerais pouvoir réellement faire tout ce que je veux par contre et ne pas être limité aux Wi-fi, sonnerie, etc.

It is so convenient for daily living! save much time! Hope next update would include brightness; and trigger the tag on without unlocking the phone. Thanks.

Very cool Just sorry you can't control the display or customise it to emergency contacts, ie data off except from certain person(s)

How to use in sony z1??? Better to do in smart connect. Useless app

I downloaded the app and I cant find the app on the phone I can uninstalled and reinstalled and I still cant find them... and it shows its install but it nowhere to be found on the phone. I'm returning. Phone and tags really soon

Missing android:installLocation="auto" Not movable to SD, good to have for profiling found in non- Android phones.

I've got the NT3. Smart tags and the app still working on the NT1 only why I've loved this app........ DO UPDATE IT

I don't know why the people are liking it becz a se set of 2 tags is almost a 1000 rs in india which is too mch.

I agree with Holman (on 7/7). Need ability to turn off battery depleting GPS, and playing tracks within player instead of just starting player.

Option to turn on and off GPS would be nice!
