About Email smart extension
This is the official email application for your Sony smart accessory. Support for Xperia™ smartphones and tablets only.
With this app, you can view email notifications and content in your SmartWatch or smart audio accessory. Email smart extension will only interact with the default email application in Xperia™ smartphones from Sony.
To use this app extension, you must have Smart Connect and the dedicated Sony app for your smart accessory installed on your Xperia™ smartphone or tablet.
Note: When you have installed this app, it will be activated automatically in your smart accessory. It will not appear in your application screen or home screen. Open the application settings via Smart Connect or via the phone or tablet status bar.
Works with: SmartWatch MN2, SmartWatch 2 SW2, Smart Wireless Headset pro MW1, Stereo Bluetooth® Headset SBH50, Smart Bluetooth® Handset SBH52.

I used to use this but had to reinstall it. Now When I try to set up an account in settings I get a message only supported for Xperia devices but I am using an Xperia z3

Had an update, it wouldn't save my settings & now it's gone complete? It shows as installed with no way of opening even after reinstalling? Are Sony or Android doing anything about this as Google mail on my phone is to complicated!! I just want a simple email app on my phone as before!

I used to use it in my Xperia Z1 and it was awesome for me. I'm now trying to use it in my Xperia Z5 and it tells me it will only work on Sony devices. This sucks, it was the most important app for me in my smartwatch. Guess I'll not use the smartwatch anymore.

Looked like SW2 had gone EOL when the phone was no longer seen as an xperia device... But the app updated in October and emails are working again. Excellent
