Songtive is a songwriting tool, band and social network for musicians of all levels. Songtive allows you to compose, experiment with arrangements for songs provided by the Songtive community or songs you have created yourself. It helps you to organize your favorite songs and chord charts, and to share them with your friends.
It's easy to use other users’ styles or drumsets for your own songs. Just choose your style (or styles) and Songtive will do the rest. For greater flexibility, you can create drumsets and attach them to your song, with different drumsets and styles for intro, outro, and the start/end of particular sections.
Choosing a style does not restrict you to one instrument. You can create styles to play flute for only the root note of song chords, adding another style to play arpeggiated chord.
Song Editor helps you to quickly find chords and set alternative names for them. If you don't see the correct alternative chord name, just send us your request and we'll add it at the next update.
You can use Songitve for lots of different ways - you can practice a song with the help of guitar & piano chords. You can create arrangements and use it as electronic accompany band or just use Songtive to compose a unique ringtone by exporting your composed music/songs as MP3 files.

Great potential but needs work to make it easier to use. Tried to add lyrics, video tutorials was no help as it appeared to be for an entirely different version, then gave up. Adding lyrics would have been nice, otherwise there is an app which does chord progressions that is much easier to use. Pity because I really like your piano companion app. I will try this again after some updates.

I dislike any app that in order to use it, I have to join to any kind of social network, I prefer to decide where, when and how to make my music available to others. I think the developer should give the end user that choice.

Developer regularly updates this app and is excellent at supporting the app. The biggest feature needed right now is the ability to use the app offline, but it is fast becoming a must have app for musicians.

But there's two things that make me disappointed. 1) There are no offline save feature for quick save in offline mode. 2) Why it's often crashed? I'm feeling saved it's because of the autosave feature. But, hey, who always want that "Unfortunately, Songtive was stopped." box appears anytime? To the developers, I hope you can fix it. I love this app so much. It makes music making go social!

Selecting any contextual option for upgrade leads to loading screen that NEVER finishes loading. Who knows how many others tried to spend money and couldn't.

I am saying that , if try to play the style alone other than the solo and drumset It doesn't play alone in this version. And there is a absolute bug in the solo section. Please rectify these and I will love songtive more again!

Looks like it could be a great tool with further development. Cloud saving only is a big drawback for a mobile app. Thanks for updating saving drumsets so quick! Triplets (for high-hats) would be a welcome update. Looking forward to new features :)

Now "Export midi/ringtone/mp3" menu sends a message WITH NO FILE ATTACHED. I can only listen within the app. It's like an expensive new hammer that you CAN ONLY LOOK AT WHILE IT SITS IN THE TOOLBOX. Please fix. I love you guys' work so I know you're capable.
