If it doesn't work you need to make sure your host machine has Bonjour! It's good but needs better Artist > Album support.

Great feature. Very simple. Only complex part is setup: you must make sure to install the add-on for Songbird Desktop for this to work. Probably why the 1 star folks couldn't get this setup properly.

This app just falls flat. There is just a bad connection between songbird and the remote, it takes forever to connect, loses connection, lags, won't update. Enough said!

Would be excellent but have new phone and I can't find songbird music player to re install on new phone, where has it gone?

Great App for controlling you music library. But a little buggy. Hell it's free give it a shot, so far I am enjoying it.

Light, fast, free 4stars missing some design and search options. With some updates this apps can be 5stars

No longer works after updating to song bird 2.0.0

controls are dissapearing all the time, screen wont turn... I end up using the app upside down, no holo theme

Worth it. Works well for basic controls. Searching, creating playlists is prohibitively annoying. Crashes phone if you turn off wifi while connected.

Tried to download Songbird on my galaxy 3 and it failed. Asked for IP Address. Wouldn't work when a tried manually either.

Works fine, automatic detection of server. Interface is basic. Missing play now button while playing a queue. Artist selection: there is no correct album view, iets alphabetical.

Works, but shows wrong track playing and UI is not great.

This app is easy to use and works well however could use a few improvements. As others have mentioned, artist's songs are not sorted by album but instead alphabetically. Bluetooth capability would be great too as wifi may not always be available

Some improvements would be great, but it does its work. Especially a widget for an easier control would be perfect.

The navigation by artist doesn't show the album of each artist but all the songs of all albums mixed up together, that's a BIG mistake.

Very cool. Very nice. Price is great. Better than other paid remotes.

Pretty cool, but needs the ability to sort by albums within the artist view. Also has no ability to edit the mobiledj playlist.

Getting it working is a pain...Then it locks up the phone when it goes to sleep. Requires a battery pull to restart.

The remote at the very least should support move to SD

Works great, but the time is messed up, like it keeps going when the song is paused. Would like to see a list of all songs to pick from. HTC Desire

Does not work. Period. Now, it may work with seemingly endless tinkering, but no joy in my situation.

Sweet app!! I just had to download the extension, enter my local IP address, and click "ok" on songbird to allow remote control. HTC EVO, XP OS.

Great app. Pity Linux support for songbird has been discontinued.

It's pretty good, the UI is a bit sloppy though.

Does not work

Great start. Was able to get it working rather easily. Interface is incositent and buggy. I am sure much of it will be fixed in updates.

Works great once it's figured out: You need to install an add-on for Songbird called "SongbirdRemote (from 779Media)" on your PC.

Cool Idea. Needs better UI & more features such as search, treelist access artist>album>track, now playing list + more. would pay for a better version
