About JuiceSSH Performance Plugin

JuiceSSH plugin for visual monitoring of server performance.

It works by starting a background JuiceSSH session to the selected host and running various commands on a periodic basis to obtain the performance metrics required.

Currently this plugin has been tested on Ubuntu and RedHat Enterprise Linux only, however this plugin is open source and freely available on Github. If you'd like to add support for other operating systems please take a look at the github and feel free to submit a pull request:

The tool is great and its core value is convenience. Making ssh user life easier. Can I ask a feature to allow defaulting one of connection profiles as I have multiple connections to different servers. The one I use the most not on the top of list so I have to select preferred profile from drop down. To make your tool even better, add a feature of auto connect.

T70%
by T####:

The app just returns the use of the cpu, ram, network, harddrive and the load average. It is not configurable but used with juicessh works absolutely painlessly to monitor my server when i do some heavy calculations. It doesn't do much but it does what it tries to do.

T70%
by T####:

Can't stay connected when switching between apps. Also not configurable from what I can tell. The ability to configure and resize/add/remove panels would be a huge boon. Most wanted feature is maintaining connection between switching apps or at least an auto reconnect.

X70%
by X####:

Would have gotten 5 stars except the lack of what I would think would be an obvious feature. Wouldn't it be perfect if you could click on a "tile" and open up a graph showing a history of the info on that tile? The history could just be for as long as the app has been opened.

Z70%
by Z####:

Love the app! It's great. How about adding graphs with real time updating? Like a line graph that expands as new data comes in. Such as CPU load, network, etc.. and make it accessable by simply tapping the square button you already have for each thing. :) Hope you'll add this!

X70%
by X####:

This is a really quick and simple way to get an overview of the state of a remote system. If you need more info, log on and fire up top, htop, glances, sar, vmstat, iostat or whatever else you like to get more detail. You're using this plugin because you already have a shell on the remote machine, so use it!

X70%
by X####:

Great app for monitoring my server but the issue I have is if I have the app closed and open the app it crashes and shows too many this app has stopped responding very annoying. Other than this issue I have nothing wrong with it and still learning the full uses of this app

M70%
by M####:

Would like some customization on what network interface or hard drive to monitor, and cpu monitor support on arch. I'm probably missing a package for your default, though I haven't looked yet. Overall pretty ok.

B70%
by B####:

This app is great. Really simple and can be done with ssh and htop but when my friends saw this they thought it was really cool and its good to be able to quickly check up on my server and make sure it's not acting up. Also when you have cool GUIs people think you're like a hacker from the movies. Not the most useful app but it works perfectly for what it attempts to do and it looks nice.

H70%
by H####:

Too bad it cannot get the information from VMware Esxi (5.1 and 6 tested). It only reads the load and nothing else. In Esx/Esxi the esxtop command gives information that could be read.

Q70%
by Q####:

Simple and reliable way to monitor your system. Displays vital stats using an existing JuiceSSH configuration and standard linux utilities, making setup all of a 2 second procedure. Major kudos to the dev.

X70%
by X####:

Nice but not working properly on wan/internet. On lan network info is updated regularry. On wan /internet access i do not see update. It's froze

X70%
by X####:

Perfect, I do not know if it would be possible to more details like services running, give kill in the services .. anyway, overall is very good.

W70%
by W####:

All menus had broken functionality. App constantly reopened itself despite setting being disabled after app closed.

X70%
by X####:

If you need more features use the shell, otherwise its a great quick healthcheck. Would like an audio alert perhaps when a threshold is reached but aside from that its a fine app.

X70%
by X####:

I really love this plugin for what it does. A few options to select which disks are displayed would be nice, but not necessary. A widget on the other hand would make this plugin perfect.

N70%
by N####:

Does exactly what is required in an efficient brilliant interface. The simple 'keep screen on' option means I have a monitor to our family Minecraft Odroid server while playing (to check on the server stats, it's a bit of an experiment!)

X70%
by X####:

This app does exactly what it is meant to do. It is lightweight, has fun colors, it's easy to use, and it uses the existing connections so there is virtually no setup required. Great work guys!

X70%
by X####:

Didn't work with 4.4.0-36-generic #55~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP. Could be lots of reasons but due non existent readme, we will never find out why

X70%
by X####:

The widget needs me to login with JuiceSSH first, for my list of servers to show in it's selection drop list. I can exit JuiceSSH beforehand, but I must have used JuiceSSH recently. This reduces the usefulness of the widget.

X70%
by X####:

Seems to work great with my Raspberry pi and Raspbian OS but not with my FreePBX IPPBX server (CentOS)! Please add support for CentOS Linux OS!!!

X70%
by X####:

It works great, but I would like to see one feature: more detailed ram usage. I only see "1GB" while free -m says just 200MB is free.

C70%
by C####:

The best way to watch my servers so far. It would be nice with a some extra modules like write/read speed and such, and maybe a menu to enable or disable modules.

L70%
by L####:

It just logs me in then goes back to the app and asks me to connect again. Useless.

I70%
by I####:

Connected to my juicessh connection but gave no info afterwards.

N70%
by N####:

Can't see temp. And need ability to customise. But app works good

X70%
by X####:

But it will be more informative when in 'Disk Usage' it will show MB/GB of free space per disk.

X70%
by X####:

Connects for a few seconds but then says connection failed.

X70%
by X####:

01-02-2017. I need a client that connects to my ssh. On linux you would enter "$ ssh -X user@hostname". This isn't it. This is a plug in for their server, which also doesn't work for me.

I70%
by I####:

Could use a bit more depth, but still easy to use and works perfectly

X70%
by X####:

I have no words to tell Just AWESOME tell me if is any desktop version of this (y)

U70%
by U####:

So much could be done to make this better. Graphs and running processes comes to mind as something easy and that would do a lot to improve the app.

S70%
by S####:

非常好用的插件,如果能具体显示正在使用CPU的进程和正在占用内存的进程就更好了

X70%
by X####:

I just simply love it, now i can track my router.Awesome things are meant to be simple. Thanks

K70%
by K####:

Technically on just about any Linux distro this should be supported. It's working for me on my Arch Linux VPS.

X70%
by X####:

Seems to be working on Ubuntu 14.04 now. I don't think I received any updates, but at least its working!

X70%
by X####:

It's too limited as it is. Needs temperature information, optional graphs, and maybe have the colors change over certain thresholds. Then it would be something I can really use.

K70%
by K####:

But indeed, it would be awesome to have some additional things (like configurable refresh time, working over mosh)

L70%
by L####:

Used for load testing on my Web server, was quick and simple to use. Could even use it to show results to non technical people.

C70%
by C####:

Please make it possible to select which load average to display. Very good.
