Adriatico Antico

In this app you can find all there is to know about navigation in the times of Ancient Rome in the Adriatic sea, both for enthusiast adults and children. Adults will find in the specific section information on navigation techniques, ports, myths and roman ships. To the children is dedicated the “Young Roman’s guide to sailing”, where you can find the adventure of young ship’s boy Lucius during his time at sea 2000 years ago; at the end of the guide, you can test your knowledge with a quiz.
The app was developed within the European Project IPA – Adriamuse (www.adriamuse.org). “Ancient Shipping in the Adriatic Sea” has been presented as an exhibition in June 2013 in Rimini (Italy) and in August 2013 in Pola (Croatia)
