I upgraded to pro thinking I could use this app in a WiFi free area. However, if you don't have Internet this app will randomly tell you you are missing a license and shut the app. This error occurs until you regain Internet connection -- not a good situation for me...

So I purchased the upgrade to Pro quite awhile ago and it charged my account. But I can never get past the "Continue" button. I have tried on at least 5 different devices, but even if I try clicking the "Upgrade to Pro" again, at the next dialog box I cannot get past the "Continue" button. I would love to get this resolved so I can change my 2 star rating to a five star. Thanks.

Very buggy program that does not appear to be updated any more. SolidWorks seems to be relying on the fact that they have the only app for viewing. In spite of the marketing blurbs, you cannot open part or assembly files from Google Drive or email without first downloading the file and then moving it into the only directory eDrawings recognizes. Once you do get it open, be prepared for random crashes. If there were other options available, I recommended not wasting your time with this program. Certainly don't waste your money on the paid pro "upgrade".

Works very well for viewing models on the go. It's a pity the AR mode in my Nexus 5X shows the image upside down, it's a nice feature I can't use. But otherwise happy with the app.

It's a good app, but should have been a one time fee only.... I really dislike having to pay for an app and then having to pay extra for "pro" features that should be included in the first place.

I bought pro and can't load any files into it to view. (And the files I'm trying to view were made in Edrawings). Would love any contact for resolution since I've just wasted 10.99

The VR Mode is amazing, I can't believe it works so well. The viewing functions are adequate and Part Display States can also be set.

Been using this for a while on my Samsung Note Pro 12.2 till the 3 updates ago which made my tablet version totally useless!!! Was hoping that they have it fixed by last update but nope. This past update also was a fail so now I'm complaining. Now I can only display it on my S7 Edge. Please help me fix my problem. Thanks in advance!

Update: A year ago we gave up in this app, to assist quick referencing of Assemblies on our production floor. Just tried it again, and it works great now. Using Android 6.0.1 on One Plus A3000 Jail Break. Will check soon for use on iPad with latest IOS. as of 2/11/2017

I'd like to rate this app more favorably, however the latest release is unusably crashy. There is an issue with the app not properly recognizing (consistently) the upgrade entilement after purchase; some parts will open with the advanced features enables and others don't. In any case, my aseemblies crash while trying to open. App has issues at this point.

I paid for this thing because I thought it could be as an drawing app. But am not getting that option. Cam you explain it for me please. Can I use it to do drawings or not.

I cant even load my files into edrawings since the button is greyed out... tell me again what use is the $2 i just wasted....seems more like a scam than a quality app. *after 6months or so I reinstalled hopping they fixed the app but they haven't yet! Pure robbery of money if they make you pay for a app and you can't do anything more than look at their demo files.....* Looked into this app some more cause if it works it would be useful but it still won't open assemblies.

I have a 32Mbyte file which I was keen to view with this app. Paid to upgrade to Pro so I had measurements too, only to find the app stops working once the model has loaded. No movement no pan, rotate....Nothing.

Why so hard to get drawings and models imported....thanks to Anthony Brobson for the Dropbox clue. It works great. But why oh why can't it be done direct from edrawings????

Why SW view controls have to be so unintuitive ? 1 finger to pan, two to rotate and zoom, please get that... But 3 stars because this is the only 3D CAD files viewer that actually works on Google play...

opens files (tried only small), seemed promising, bought pro. will get a refund. when measuring it is just IMPOSSIBLE to pick a second point, there is no dead zone for picking (especially when zoomed in which sucks anyway) and rotate kicks in as you try to select. i am really curious what these guys where thinking when developing this app or if anybody has ever bothered to test its functions. configurations not appearing at all, same with exploded views. disgrace. ridiculous even if it was free.

We use Solidworks quite often for work, having the ability to carry an assembly around on a tablet would be a lifesaver, as well as help our efforts in saving paper. However, after purchasing the app, as well as the Pro offered in the app, I cannot import our models into the app, because the 2 options, "from email, and through a cloud service" are grayed out. Having played with the samples loaded in the app, I do find it to be a great piece of software, but I can only give 3 stars for now, as the primary function of importing OUR models in.

Last version (3.0.1) for 4.2.x devices crashes on startup. (Segmentation fault in native code.) The newest version which *supposedly* fixes this is only available for newer API levels. Thanks for breaking a formerly functional app on older devices.

Bought this app early January and it was very impressive, but after the 4.0 update the app fails to load and gives error message "eDrawings Failed to Load". Purchased this app to run with Solidworks EPDM WEB2 Server so our field employees and customers could view drawings and models in the field. Would rate more stars if this apo worked as good as pre 4.0 update! Please fix ASAP

If you have 3.7 and it works for solidworks models pre 2016, don't update this and just bite that bullet. I updated now edrawings crashes EVERY time at the splash, I can't get to any files... waste of money

I can't change drawings without it crashing. Open one drawing, all good close out and go to open another and bam crash... Every time without fail. On both my lg g4 and Samsung tab 8. When it does work the measure tool doesn't always show up and i have to close and reopen the app to make it show up. Very disappointing for such a handy app

But it was too much. Version 4.0 brings up splash screen (so 90's) then black screen/crash. Have had other issues like unable to open local or cloud based files... Samples aren't really working for me as far as work goes ;-). Dimension fonts too large for dialog box sometimes making dimensions unreadable. Crashes, bugs, settings not saving, etc. Fix the app or give users a refund, this is absurd. Users have been waiting fairly patiently for slow and underwhelming updates. Fire incompetent dev team!

I bought the professional version to measure dimensions out on the job sight, and it worked for two weeks and then it crashes after the splash screen. Firephone with latest OS.

On my Samsung phone the app works fine but my screen is small. On my Samsung tablet it starts to open then crashes every time.

I bought this app. Used it twice and it has not worked since. Come on get it fixed or refund everyone's money. Two month to fix a crash like this is too long.

tried several times to open up eDrawing files to show clients what we are proposing to manufacture but a dialogue box opens saying eDrawing has stopped working!!!!!!

It used to be a great idea, then a nearly useable something, now it's fully bricked on Android. Do not buy.

This app appears to be working now! I store all my files in my Dropbox, which makes it convenient to view on my phone. In the app I couldn't navigate to my Dropbox, but in Dropbox I could use the app to open my file. A lot of times I'm collaborating with someone on a prototype, so I tend to show them on my phone or screenshot a specific angle and send it to them. It would be even better if I emailed them the file and they opened it with this app. Thanks! I've updated my rating.

The update fixed the crash after the splash screen BUT now I'm presented with a black screen if I try to open anything.... Previous post: "I really need it. Used to be a great tool (pro version). Now stops after splash screen. "eDrawings has stopped working". Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. Kitkat 4.4.2"

This app is cool to have when you want to show people what you have drawn or found online as a cad file. The only thing I found kind of odd is that you have to put your cad file into the folder edrawings/samples to view it in edrawings. This is not hard to do but a file browser would be better.

I find extremely annoying the non-ability to close the section view menu window after I decide and adjust the section view I want to see. The menu just covers up the screen and model. I know this app may be made to be used on tablets but this makes it very hard to zoom and pan models on smartphones. (Device - LG V10)

It's good only for very simple files. More complex projects make the app to crash or the app is very slow and it's impossible to do something. I'd like to get my money back.
