The option to do the quick text message response to someone has never worked. It was one of the main reasons I wanted a smart watch. So while at work if I get a call or a text, I can easily use the quick text response on my watch to say "working call later".. Must fix please! PHONE: Sony Experia XL. The old platform for gear fit manager was so much better. This new platform doesn't work at all. I used to be able to control my Amazon Music app through the media controller, NOT any more. I have to add it 6 times for it to intermittently work. And I don't get any actual notifications. All my notifications on my gear fit just say " see open for messenger" I wish I could give this P. O. S. app zero stars.

Firstly you have to pay for the full version and it doesn't work properly. I don't even get 20% of my notifications. Even when I remove and re-add the apps I wish to receive notifications for it only ends up working a couple times and then nothing. What's the point of having a app that pushes ur notifications to ur smart watch but can't even do just that.

I have been using the older platform of gear fit manager for 2 years, it was great! Then I got a fit bit, and uninstalled manager. ...BIG MISTAKE! Well I decided to go back to Samsung gear fit and reinstalled the app. I guess the platform has been "updated".....it SUCKS! There is no dashboard to manage or make changes to the gear fit.... WANT THE OLD VERSION BACK, hate the new one!

I can't go in and change my quick reply messages. I cannot do anything and check up on my fitness anymore. Change it back! I would give you all Stars, but this new update is terrible! Please fix it!! I want to be able to change up my quick replies on my messages. I have ones in there that don't fit to my days anymore! Also half the time it won't connect to my phone, or the notifications never show up on the watch.....useless now!!

I got this to replace the Gear Fit manager when I upgraded from a Galaxy S5 to an LGV20. It syncs perfectly. You may not be able to use a photo as the home screen and you cannot rearrange the icons but it delivers notices correctly. Maintains quick replies and syncs the pedometer correctly.

Works fine with Google fit, but for some reason my gear fit won't sync with my Shealth. Also I purchased the premium version and from time to time I go to sync data with Google Fit and it tells me it is a premium feature and to purchase the premium version. Now the app stopped syncing data with Google Fit. Tried resetting several times to no avail. DO NOT PURCHASE PREMIUM VERSION IT DOES NOT WORK

Weather updates have stopped working. The rest of the functions work, my only other comment would be all notifications show up on the Fit as a text message, rather than displaying the app icons. This is the only option for making the Fit work on Android 6+at this time.

I hated the new "Open Fit" app. It took so much away from the "Gear Fit Manager". I wrote a bad review at first and was about to toss my Gear Fit in the garbage, but then this morning, I received an update... Gear Fit Manager and all it's options was back! As long as I get to keep this version, I will give a great review! Thank you for bringing back the Gear Fit Manager!

Worked great until around the end of October, but it's been more miss than hit since then. Did something get screwed up with the last Google Fit update? I hope it's resolved soon, because prior to that, my rating would have been higher.

I had problems with my steps not being counted so I deleted the old app. This new one is terrible, I liked the old version better. I had access to more information with the older version. I am very disappointed. I constantly have to reconnect with my device. Bring back the old app, this thing sucks.

Works OK with Samsung gearfit. Allows you to turn on all its features. Many features are sync now with the phone (I use Xperia 3 and it works fine). The only hassle is that at the first time you are going to use the watch you need to find volunteer with Samsung that by installing the fit manager will unlock the watch. If you want to upgrade the watch firmware with Kies 3 it works but reset the watch and you would need to use the volunteer again. I remove 1 * cause this app runs in the background. ALWAYS

Hate this app but theres nothing else for me to downlaod on my lg g6. Wish there was an option to download the "gear fit manager". The app works okay but you dont get all the opitions like you would with the "gear fit manager". I just really want to change my home screen to one of my own pictures..

This version doesn't work on samsung phones. I have a samsung s4 phone and a samsung gear fit that used to sync all the time through S health, now nothing syncs at all, not sleep, steps or even my alarms. Also can't change the background anymore with pictures from my gallery. You say it's an alternative but you've removed the original. Put it back!!! If I could I would give this app a minus 10.

Got a new phone and lost the old manager. This one doesn't let you do near the amount of the things you could do. Bring back the old one!

I have no idea what the premium and the regular version differ. Why would you ask someone to buy a premium version and give them nothing different. What a waste of money.

I connect my phone to my gear for over and over but it disconnects it's self. I bought the premium but still doesn't do anything. What's the deference between the free app and the one I paid for. It sucks I like the other app better.

Very upset. I was using the older version an loved it. Now I am having a horrible time and very unhappy. Seems like ewrything is a premium feature.

App seems to work just fine, there is only one real cosmetic issue which is that the notification after some time will say that the phone is disconnected, even though it really is still connected. Regardless, that doesn't interrupt function. Also, a way to turn off the app would be nice that doesn't involve the notification, as the ability to stop the process can only be accessed there and sometimes is blocked by other notifications.

Does not allow weather notifications. I double checked, notifications are on in the weather app and in the gear fit I tried all weather notification options also tried all weather notification options in open fit. No combination worked. So far it seems to connect well enough to allow for accurate time, calls/text notifications, clock notifications, as well as for media player pause, skip, reverse. Thanks for the app...not perfect but will do

Only thing I would highly suggest is either allowing custom find my phone sounds or switching it from the notorious makes everyone hit the deck bomb sound.

This is a great app that I would recommend to anybody in need of an application to use their Gear Fit. It offers a lot of features similar to the Gear Fit Manager app, the only features that are not yet available are the quick reply support and the ability to use your own wallpaper. I would love to see this in a future update, but besides that, this app is amazing and definitely a great app for the Gear Fit SM-R350

Was given Gear Fit as a gift. Since I don't have a Samsung phone (LG K10) this app allows me to use the GF. I get text and phone notifications as well as from additional apps I've connected (endomondo and fitbit at one time). I do wish that the quick text replies would send. I've tried several times to send one of the template quick texts as a response but it does not go through despite the Gear Fit telling me it was sent. Would be great if a fix could be made for that. Thank you.

Please fix the alarm control options. I always used my watch to wake me with the vibration and controlled the dismiss/snooze from my watch. Also, please fix the connection issues, Bluetooth constantly disconnects and reconnects when sitting right beside the phone. It's a battery killer right now. It doesn't even send the quick texts on a consistent basis when responding to messages from the watch.

Media control is now working on my redmi! Thanks! Now just need background image...Great app. Only one that works on my redmi note 2. But please add 2 features. User wallpapers and custom sms replies. Thanks

The old version was better. Gear fit constantly disconnects. It wont sysc to the fitness app. I hate this new gear fit open.

It doesnt recognize the apps on your phone, you check settings and all and it should be fine, well it doesnt so you NEVER receive notifications on the watch... HATE IT!!!

If you reject a call and try to send a pre-defined message via the app that will not reach the other party. App says message sent but nothing is really sent. Please fix or remove support for this.

Definitely something strange going on when Google Fit tells me that I've walked over an hour while I'm sleeping from data it has received from Open Fit. Phone has been lying flat all night. I don't sleepwalk!

If you can make this work with the fit 2 that would be awesome. I dont have a phone, but use a Galaxy Tab S2 and for some dumb reason Samsung decided to only let some devices compatable with the Gear manager app.

I had to get an old obsolete Samsung phone to make this thing work at all but as soon as I try to connect to my Nexus phone it does a reset to Korean. Tried this many times all the same....This app is useless to me unless a language change can be made.

My new Samsung J3 wouldn't allow me to connect to my Samsung Gear Fit for some reason. My previous Samsung 5 had no problems connecting. This app worked great! Fast, easy and now I can use my gear fit watch again, I love It! And the app is free

This version is better then the one on the Galaxy app site, at least it located my Gear Fit 2, still failed to connect though. I know my phone is a bit old (Galaxy Note 4) but it should still work.

It worked for a week and I even purchased premium but tonight it disconnected from my gear fit and will not reconnect no matter what i do. Fix it or I want my money back. This is so frustrating.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy 7 and have the gear fit you need to go to samsung apps to get the manager for the gear and it will work then

I tried to connect to my gear fit to no avail. I'm in fact following the instructions. Please do not get patronizing. It does not help. It seems like a good idea, but it doesn't work and that's a fact.

My gear fit for some reason has its language set in German (I'm english) with my note 4 as soon as it connected it changed the language, with this, it doesn't change the language or give me any options to change it Is it possible you guys could help me out at all? Cheers

The original gear fit manager worked great, this open fit is useless let alone the fact I can buy "premium" witch has nothing better to offer.

There appears to be a problem connecting a Gear Fit2 device to a Nexus 4. The Open Fit can see a Fit2 and allows its selection as a pairing device but will not establish a connection or at least reports that it cannot connect. However I eventually found that when I started Samsung Gear, it would pair with the Fit2. It was frustrating but things did eventually work though Open Fit still reported that it could not connect.

I hate the new gear fit manager. My gear fit worked just fine with my phone before this stupid update. I absolutely hate it and wish it would go back to the way it was.
