Fast & Priceless! A must-have for Android as Palm replacement. Couldn't switch from Palm Pilot/Palm Desktop to Android/Google at virtually no cost without this app. Actively maintained, continuously enhanced. Finds diacritics when search term contains no diacritics. Note to Greek users: Βρίσκει τόνους και διαλυτικά! Ψάχνεις για παιδ και βρίσκει παιδί, παϊδάκι και παΐδι στις Σημειώσεις των επαφών! Βρίσκει λέξεις με ί, ϊ, ΐ, ύ, ϋ και ΰ ενώ κάνεις απλά αναζήτηση για ι και υ! On December 2016 my Palm Pilot finally died; got my first android phone. With tons of data in my Notes fields, stock search options on android are useless. This was the very first app I installed. Now I even keep all my Palm MemoPad notes in contact entries (separate contact groups dedicated to notes). Contact "Attachments": With Contact View (free & no-ads when I purchased CLF), I can now have html links to my Drive files from within my contacts' Notes, even when offline. Support? Oh boy! Twice submitted reports for minor bugs: New version within a couple of days! A third time, I asked for a special search feature: Implemented in a new version within hours; on a freakin' Saturday night! Invaluable!

Best contact search

What happened? Used for years. Now when I search for "T-Mobile", no results appear, even though I have 3 T-Mobile contacts. Please fix!

Nothing like it out there. I use it all day. Just keeps getting better.

This continues to be one of my favorite and most useful apps ever, rivaled only by Pimlical/A. Superior functionality derived from expert design, competent engineering, and breathtakingly responsive product support. Reminds me a bit of the old Lotus Magellan, but for Android contacts and (unlike Magellan), unlikely to become abandon-ware. Essential.

Multiline data is displayed correctly, all fields are searched, and custom gmail tags supported. As a side note: crashes on moving index db on sdcard on my phone.

Super fast lookup and good support

Redphone and Textsecure recognition should be included here or in Contacts View. In general very serious app.

App is precisely as described. Searches everything in contacts. Interface is delightfully uncomplicated. Kudos to developers of this.

2 recent enhancements (voice search and sort by last-updated) are phenomenal improvements. Very committed & responsive Dev. I have 4k contacts dating from Palm PDAs. Many with lengthy notes. This indexed search is fast... Frequent useful updates.

Find anything deep within your contacts fast!

This is great. I have hundreds of contacts. I can find anything with just a couple of letters. It searches all fields for key words. Well worth the $3 . I had used the app Contact Search before and it was slow and couldn't find contact by company name or organization. Contact look Up app was exactly what i need. I emailed support for help on something and they replied immediately . Great customer service. Excellent! Using LG Spectrum.

Go Contacts was too slow for my 2,800 contacts. This is fast and works great. Great support from developer. Works well with Contact View. Bionic.

Great App, works great with my repair business.

The app works great integrating with the contacts on my Incredible 2! Its much faster than the native Android Contacts app, better graphics, etc. Karl Wyre is the developer, extremely responsive in helping with a minor blip that I had moving the app onto my new phone. BUY IT!!! I just emailed the developer about another question I had owing to adding thousands of new contacts to Contact Lookup Fast on my Incredible 2. As in the past, Karl responded within a day with a detailed answer that had multiple options on how he might approach solving the issue. The product is great and Karl's the best!

I've purchased and installed both Contact Lookup Fast and Contact View and given them both a test run. And oh what a difference!! A magical improvement - a super-fast method for finding exactly the person or business I need to find, and a MUCH better way of viewing the contact when I've found him/her. Both apps have been extremely easy to set up and configure - with excellent built in help and a range of options to suit different needs.

Expands Contact search to include more fields i. e. Nickname, Adresses, Phone Numbers, Emails, Notes, Groups and more. Extremely fast.

Applicatimn calls home even after purchase to validate license. Uninstalled and reported.

Superb app! At last, a search that produces ALL the results it should! Why on earth doesn't the Google search match this? I'll never search elsewhere!

Quite frankly this is it worth 4 dollars maybe a dollar most. You can search contacts via google just as fast

It didn't have a particular feature I wanted so the developer added it! Now it does palm style searching with initials! I LOVE it!
