إتحاد بلديات جبل عامل

"في الاتحاد قوّة"، تحت هذا الشعار التقى عدد من بلديات قرى قضاء مرجعيون لإنشاء اتّحاد يجمع أهدافها المشتركة ويوحّد رؤيتها المستقبلية تجاه تنمية قراها الحدودية التي غفلت عنها السياسات الحكومية منذ عقود، علّها تعوّض بمجهودها الخاص بعضا من هذا الحرمان سيما وأنّ هذه القرى الحدودية تقع في منطقة تعيش اللاإستقرار الدائم.

فلقد عانت المنطقة تاريخيا الفقر والاضطهاد جراء الاعتداءات المتكررة الناتجة عن الاحتلال الاسرائيلي الغاشم، مما أدى الى استنزاف بشري كبير، انعكس سلبا على واقع المنطقة التنموي وأخر عملية التنمية فيها ، ومعظم هذه البلدات حررت مؤخرا من الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في أيار من العام 2000 ، حيث انطلق العمل البلدي فيها بعد إنشاء البلديات رسميا ..

و تعتبر بعض قرى الاتحاد من بين جيوب الفقر الثمانين التي حددتها استراتيجية التنمية الاجتماعية في لبنان عام 2005، وبشكل عام تعتبر قرى الاتحاد في المرتبة الرابعة في أسفل سلم خارطة أحوال المعيشة في لبنان ..

وبناء عليه التقت كلّ من عديسة، الطيبة، مركبا، قبريخا، طلوسة، عدشيت، دير سريان، رب ثلاثين، القنطرة، مجدل سلم وحولا لتأليف "اتّحاد بلديات جبل عامل" الذي أبصر النور في 9-11-2006 بموجب مرسوم جمهوري حمل الرقم 18104.

ويبعد الاتحاد بين 90 و115 كلم عن العاصمة بيروت، و يرتفع عن سطح البحر حوالي 650 مترا .... وتعتبر الزراعة اهم مصادر الدخل لقرى الاتحاد .

ويبلغ عدد سكانه زهاء 65 ألف نسمة، ويعتبر هذا العدد من السكان متدنيا نوعا ما ويعكس الانحسار السكاني ووضع المنطقة الانمائي ..
