What are users saying about Speed Warning

Alerts are not load enough

M70%
by M####:

Doesn't change speed limits to right limit

U70%
by U####:

It could have more options though. Like when the warning hits (how much higher above the limit)

U70%
by U####:

Speed limit icon never changed (stayed at 55 while going through a 45 to 35 speed limit zone) but it did read how fast I was going... Unless you want traffic tickets, I'd stay away from this app...

X70%
by X####:

Speed limits in Auto Mode are mostly incorrect with very unusual limits, e.g. 60 MPH is not a standard speed limit posting anywhere, but it is used here. Too bad, I was looking for an app that does just that without the gimics.

This app could be great but one fatal flaw, it only gives you a limited list of available speed limits with no option (that I could find) to enter a different speed limit. None of the limits are my local speed limit which means I'd either be speeding or going unnecessarily slow. The km/h speeds start at 30km/h and increase in increments of 20km/h to 130km/h. The local speed limit on highways is 80km/h and you can get a ticket for going 85km/h and I certainly don't want to drive at 70km/h. The MPH has 25MPH, 30MPH, 45MPH, 55MPH then increases in increments of 5MPH to 80MPH conveniently again misses the approximate local limit of 50MPH. Apart from the above I do like its simplicity and lack of permissions. All it needs is the ability to set a custom limit, or better yet change the speed limits in the menu to the ones that would apply to the user. Also keeps popping up a request to rate it. NOTE: Never tested it on the road because it didn't have the local speed limit.

I realized that the speeds that are listed in the parameters are the only speeds it will use, you cannot add any, and its the only speeds that automatic uses too... so if for example you want to go 35 you can't alert yourself for that

D70%
by D####:

In a 40 minute drive through villages, the speed limit shown on the app was changing frequently, as it should, however out of the while 40 minutes it was correct once, for about 200 yards. This is worse than nothing, if you trust the speed this app tells you you'll be almost constantly breaking the law.

Looks ok at the min ill re evaluate in a few days to see if its still ok

So far so good for the back roads...let's wait and see in highways!!! Wished I could adjust warning sound!!!!

D70%
by D####:

I could not use 35 or 40 miles per hour which in my area are the most difficult speed limits to adhere to.

D70%
by D####:

In auto mode the wrong speed limit was displayed always. This completely defeats the purpose of the App

D70%
by D####:

Fails to detect the speed limit on the road you are on and when it does show speed it's obviously wrong like 45 and 55 mph. It also insists that you rate the app while you are driving. Stupid app.

E70%

In Australia need to have more speed limits available. I note that this has been mentioned before yet there has been no change to the interface. Fairly simple to enact i would have thought. ! Star

On automatic it does not update the speed limit. In fact it was stuck on 55 my hole trip.

Runs in background, so you can use it with the screen locked. Just set the speed and slip it in your shirt pocket. Very reliable.

It is nice to cal speedo

That help me a lot thanks. .

Would have rated it 0 stars if I could. Doesn't get the speed limit right on vary many streets. When it does and you get a speed warning, after a few seconds it just raises the limit so you are no longer speeding.

D70%
by D####:

I put it on automatic mode, but so far it never determines the speed limit right of the street I'm on. Meanwhile it keeps demanding I evaluate it, when I only used it for 5 minutes. How am I supposed to stop and do this now when I'm driving?

R70%
by R####:

It needs to give one the option to set the amount of mph one wants to go above the speed limit. The manual and automatic features give one plenty of options otherwise. Also I hate the way it asks me to evaluate it so frequently. Surely you developers must realize that is a good way to get an app uninstalled.

Love this app really works well. I agree with Linda Parker a reminder alert every 5 or 10 seconds would be nice. Other than that it is well pout together.

R70%
by R####:

I ride motorcycles often, and having this running in the background behind my music is a great tool to stay in check with the local traffic laws. My only gripe is that you can't set multiple alarms (ex, sound every increase of 10) but its accurate enough to give you a decent standing in your speed.

Q70%
by Q####:

Really struggles to pick up correct speed limit in 30 it says 25 and on 70 it can't seem to make mind up. Could be a cracking app though gas speed is spot on though

Doesn't work. I started the app while in a 55 mph zone and when I went into a 50 mph zone, it still said the speed limit was 55. Then I went into a 40 mph zone, and it still said the speed limit was 55.

E70%

It was nice but I couldn't insert specific values

Z70%

Its a great app.. But automatic mode just guesses the speed limit based on your driving speed and manual mode... Well you have to keep changing it... But as an 'in front of you guide to how fast you're going its great... For improvements... You could get it to connect to the web and fetch the speed limits on the road that I'm on... I know its a big a ask... But I would pay money for an app like that

Guesses the speed limit based on my driving. If real limit us 60 but I'm going 80, it tells me the speed limit is 80. Worthless App!
