Date Statusbar

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge: I do like the app but like others have said, l wish the icon could be a little bigger. I don't like that it's always in the pull down notification page. I turned off notifications for this app but that just totally shut the app down so l had to turn on notifications so that l could get the icon back which means there will always be a notification on the lock screen when l turn the phone on. Otherwise, it's very simple & useful.

It's great having the date always in the status bar so I can almost always see what day it is; the date is the one thing that I often forget. It's also great to have the date in the notification panel. What would be even better for this app is if it offered even more color customisation ability; the color choices are rather Limited.

App is OK, but lacks customization capabilities, especially with the built-in calendar. Need ability to pick 3rd party calendar/task app. Built-in calendar needs more repeat options than just yearly. Needs monthly and weekly repeat at very least. Need option to turn off week number and day number. Need option for US style date formats in calendar.

Icon in top left hand corner is great. But the app insists on adding a line to the notification bar which dies not update. As a result the same app gives 2 different dates depending on what screen you are on. Uninstall!

Would like to see black text on green banner. To remove date from lock screen, pulldown shade from home screen, press and hold app notification till it changes, then tap the i button. Option to remove from lock screen is there.

It's great but it disappears every few days, presumably when the app updates. Most annoying having to reactivate it all the time!

Used to work fine but now on new phone LYF 7, Android 5.1 not starting up after restart and doesn't update date anymore, just shows same date every day. So uninstalled. 5-stars when works though small yet clear to read.

I have install this app 3 week ago, it's very useful & easy for me. It helps me to see the date without unlock the phone. But one change can make it Superb- that's,"Date status bar must should be blink when reminders date has come, because Date Status Bar does not have any alarm sound, although it is a light app therefore blinking function will be suitable for it" and add Icon Color for Monday also, So please sir make it possible in your next update. Thank you.

I have to open this app every day for it to work. I have all the buttons switched to "on". Too bad.

For my purposes the App is excellent and I find the sliding notification informative and helpful. The one upgrade I would like to see is that the in-house calendar used by the App was either the device's default calendar or a selection option was provided from the available calendar Apps installed on the device.

Loved it. So useful and no permissions needed. But it displays as notification on the lock screen which is not good. Also how do i translate it to my language?

Slim, trim, and very easy to read! Excellent app for quickly identifying day and date. Worked great at first, but now I have to restart it in order for it to show up on status bar.

This widget worked for me for over a year. I set the day color to yellow with black letters, which makes it stand out better than red. A BLACK choice would be a plus.

I'd rather ditch the full network access & view network connections permissions. They're not needed, and other apps don't have them. Also, the 4 color options are bright and stand out too much from the rest of the all white on transparent status bar.

Customizable notifications are needed, although this isn't bad. The problem is with the calendar that opens upon a tap, instead of my own calendar.

Does not display Day, Date in top status bar (MIUI 8 Marshmallow) which is the main purpose of app. Instead comes in notification permanently which is not required at all. No update from 2015 means no bugs are getting resolved.

Its getting disappeared again&again even after the app is locked in recent apps.... And also its running in start up manager.. Can u tell me y am i facing ts problem

With latest update icon is disabled from the status bar need to restart the app after some time again will disabled please fix the issue

Does exactly what it says & no annoying ads. Just wish it wasn't always in the pull down notifications.

I like having it but I have to change the date myself.

It even has Chinese Calendar!!! PERFECT+ [NEW: I was tricked, the description says it's just 700 sth KB, but after it's installed, like many other apps, the actual size is MUCH larger, 5.12 MB, so it is NOT light-wt after all~]

up in the Notification Bar, it's fine. but on the Lockscreen, it's always a day behind. many times when I'm signing paperwork and I wake my phone to look at the lockscreen to see the date, I often realize it's a day behind. sometimes two. not acceptable!

Very small almost illegible day number and totally illegible week day. No option to display week numbers in status bar, and the week number in notification is incorrect (off by 1).

In status bar, if you find it doesn't change date automatically everyday because you have task killer installed. You need to ignor it. When pull down, week number is incorrect or need setup option.

Never any problems, never in your face screaming "Buy this! Buy that! Upgrade now!" It does exactly what I hoped, just states the day and that's it.

This app is very DANGEROUS because after a few days it STOPS UPDATING THE DATE meaning you could end up MISSING important meetings, appointments, schedules and events because you believe the INCORRECT date that it displays on the status bar. Very Bad App! Do Not Download!!!

I love the look of this app, BUT the date doesn't change until I open the app each day, hence it doesn't work properly. Please fix this!

Most easy-to-read date and day icon that I've found. FYI, the blue icon option works best for me. I also like that this app requires no special permissions.

Nice looking but in lock screen notification date does not change automatically next day (you have to restart mobile for change in lock screen notification date) , it changes in status bar only. Using Samsung Galaxy A7 2016. Also should have an option to show in status bar or to show in notification only.

The small space provided by the status bar cannot be better utilised than by this clever little app. Serves the extremely important purpose of keeping the user in the know about the day & date. Simply indispensable. Hats off!

To open the app every single time I restart my phone as it disappeared from the top bar

Why does it seem to randomly disappear in the status bar?

Date is not visible in upper left side of status bar in my resume note 3 headset whereas it is visible in my one plus two handset

Week start on should be available too. I accustomed to week start on Monday. If you add it in the next update i will give 5 stars.

It stops working with regularity
