Cruisers Sailing Forum for Android
This app is great. It could have a better search function but the information is great. You do get differences of opinions but that gives even better information.
Great forum. App crashes often on my g3
Great for cruisers to get tips and tricks on all boating matters
Great app
Easy access to one of my favorite forums. Trending feature is terrible and detracts from the timeline portal most people use especially as the app tries to make you start there. Few Android bugs that take a long time to fix.
Cannot really find anything to critisize. A good, non fancy app that does what it says without a bunch of needless complications
Better presentation on my android. Miss timeline but like the favorites stream. A good updated
App is ready to use, easy to read. I like that you can change the display to dark or bright versions. I love reading up on the different discussions.
I love this sight! I've never had any problems with the app. It's a must have if you are on the water.
It's the best way to stay connected to the world of cruising.
Works for reading and posting on forums. Benchmark for cruising information.
Will not let me post anything to the forum?
Love the forum and the app is a good way of keeping in touch with it when on the boat or otherwise travelling
Enjoy having everything in one place.
Always interesting & informative. Often with some humour!!
Works well
App works well.
Easy to use.
A lot of useful information. A few time waster members posting nonsense, but not excessive.
Previous versions on my tablet were ad free. With 4.4 there a lot of ads. The app works well though.
Search results will return on individual words and not the phrase you enter. If you go into a category and search results return from outside of the category. If I'm doing something wrong then the app is not intuituve.
I tried to sign up but it asks me for a user name, an e-mail, a password, twice and nothing more. I entered these 4 criteria and it tells me I've entered the wrong birthday! I hope this gets their attention so it can be fixed.
I'm on it several times a day either from lack of knowledge of how to do the next job or lack of energy to do the next job
The Cruisers forum is a treasure trove of information for boaties and wannabe sailors.
Works good enough to keep up on CF posts but lacking in some functionalities. Great for reading.
Search function doesn't work. You can type in a search but it doesn't show it typing anywhere and doesn't search anything. Great only for browsing.
Overall, I like the app, however as a moderator, I find many moderator functions are missing. This makes it difficult having to switch between a smartphone, a tablet, and occasionally a computer to do the job properly
However, it has limited functionality, still have to open in a desktop site to access a lot of information.
Crashes during search function.
I like the way this app keeps things simple. It's a pleasure to use
Great way of getting useful info when you've only got your mobile phone and you are sitting in the cockpit wishing you had an army of experts with you
.....as it should.
Find like minded people, find advice and ideas, but and sell.....
A lot of useful information. A few time waster members posting nonsense, but not excessive.
My fiance and I are both new to sailing, but we are in love with where it can take you. The stories, questions and answers provide alot of information, and we enjoy all the different perspectives. We especially like the threads about places we would like to visit. From fish you can catch locally, to customs practices, canal fees. It's all great stuff and reading the discussions is a great way to learn. Great job!
Easy to navigate and has caused no trouble with my nexus 5.
The app is good, easy to use and navigate, but I prefer the web version and on my Note 4 its easy to just use that instead, making this app sort of unnecessary for me.
I love using this all at work for a quick sailing break when my day gets to hectic.
It's very handy when I'm not at my desk to log in to the Web site.

A pretty good app. Can't find any real "problems" and aside from the common limitations of trying to use a smartphone for a site with a ton of data, it is great.
