In most cases on board ship you would not be using data or internet. I tested the app with phone in Airplane mode and it works great.

Cruised on this ship and the map was helpful to our group. To the person that wanted a deck 13... there is NO deck 13. Hope to see other ships in the future.

Author may want to revisit app's requested permissions. I can understand why app might need to be aware of phone call. I do NOT understand why it needs to know my device ID or especially why it needs to know the one calling me or that I'm calling, which is what the permission notice indicates.
