GrooVe IP VoIP Calls & Text

I just got disconnected from a very important phone because I ran out of credits. Do ya guys think that MAYBE you can add some sort of warning that we're low on credits instead of just CUTTING THE CONVERSATION??? UNBELIEVABLE. Stupid, basic stuff. Idiots running this app that don't supply it with the most BASIC needed software. Add a warning and I change my review.

When my wifi or mobile data is on and the app is active, I cant make a normal phone call. Only others can call me, I can't. Also, many times the app is active but not ringing when someone calls you. Fix these bugs and I'll edit my review

I installed the app but not able signup. It's showing error as update the app though I have latest version.

Don't down load it drops calls i hate that hang out dialer #1

Lame app is not for free i just purchased credit and not even used after 2 weeks they cancel even my account... I just received an email 1 day before supposed they will cancel in 5 days but it was lie just bs... Text free app is way better then this scamm lame app.

I am shocked how bad this is. Freshly installed: "Invalid version of GrooVe IP detected". Yay, can't select a number. Can't use. I give this a 0/5 stars.

What a joke, you can only use your phones email address (registered gmail accounts on your device) to register. Then if you do and want to RECEIVE a sms text, it wants you to pay $$$$ for 1 text. ****NOT FREE, DONT USE*****

When someone call the screen goes dark and there is no way to accept or deny the phone calls.. When I call someone the screen goes dark and when the other party answer I hear nothing and the other party as well hear nothing.. It's bad

This app does not allow me to enter mail. It takes the phone mail. This is stupid!!!! No use of the app.

Groove IP Pro is one of the most under rated VOIP apps there is. It is one of the best because... #1) It works reliably. It is much more reliable than any other VOIP app. Extremely stable! Even watching video advertising to (easily and quickly) create calling credits is reliable (and this is where Dingtone, TextMeUp, TextFree, TextNow and all the others fail miserably). #2) Groove IP allows you, at your option, to use your phone carrier's data plan to make calls. This is a significant option that allows your mobile device to remain mobile and still take calls on your Groove Internet Phone line while you are out and about in the world. Plus, it isn't required, so you can still use the very same app on the old smartphones you have upgraded and no longer have a carrier. You can even use a phone without a SIM as your business office line. #3) You can get rid of all the ads simply by upgrading to the ad free Groove IP Pro version of this app. Other VOIP apps require that you subscribe and may charge you a monthly or annual fee to not show advertising in the UI. But that cleaner UX costs. Even ad-free iPlum charges $1.00 a month to keep your number active. That's $12.00/yr for an ad-free experience! With Groove IP you pay a reasonable one-time fee when you upgrade to the Pro version of the app, and you are done with ads in the UI. But you still have the option of watching video ads to create credits to keep your call costs down (alternately, if you don't like to watch ads, you can also purchase call credits at phenomenal savings over regular phones, rate that is competitive with the VOIP competition). #4) You can use Groove IP to call using your Google Voice number. You don't even need Google Voice or Hangouts apps installed on your phone. #5) The call quality is great. You can't even tell that it is a VOIP phone. You can even easily setup Groove IP to be the default phone app (or not) so that your spare phone can act more efficiently as a phone. #6) Highly configurable. You can use Groove IP how you want and get it to act like you want to to, easily, in the settings. You can have the sort of usefulness you want out of your phone. And all you have to do is use it (text or call) to keep your number active. The only recommendation I have to improve the app would be to support multiple numbers. Other apps have this functionality, but Dingtone and TextMe(Up)/FreeTone are all unreliable from version to version, and more unreliable with handset equipment that is older or underpowered, which is often what I use as a spare phone for the office. I would like that functionality because I have more than one business and would like to answer the phone according to the line they are calling (and currently no multiple number app notifies you which line they are reaching you through, so they don't even get that functionality right). But I would never want to lose the reliability, clarity, configurability and ease of the Groove IP app. I will be upgrading to the Pro version, shortly (almost enough Google Rewards to get it).

cant sign up, pretty useless app

The app is great but recently I try to send texts and they don't get delivered .

It is not working in my android it will keep ringing for a long time but no one attends the phone

I love Groove IP and would rate higher except it will not ring. Not a huge problem because I use it for people I don't want to have my main number. I love that I got over 700 credits when I subscribed to Hulu from it. Problem there is Hulu didn't give me the free month. Have to call them.

Runs on credit system like all the others. No different, costs$ eventually. Worked for first text then nothing. Can't refresh or force push incoming and to show up. Deleting it and disappointed.

Would be nice if you were able to register with something other than Gmail. Like the way you can earn credits. First call I made was terrible though.

Can't sign up. after trying to sign up doing everything correctly it says error and it gives you info of it being error. Don't waste your time.

I do it two times and work very good but now again i try to login and sign up so there is making error everytime and say to update and i update it but the problem is same plz solve this.
