Magic Life Counter

Fantastic app, everything works great. Would like to see support for planeswalkers and energy counters, also maybe adding more color choices for mixed theme decks? All just suggestions this app is already better than I expected. And the removal of advertisements is the sole reason I'm rating and commenting. Thank you developer!

A definite must own app for ALL Magic fans! Whether your level of play is casual, pro, or any thing in-between, this little app will take care of all your life point counting needs. And you know the great thing about this counter? It actually works! This should go without saying but you'd be surprised as to how many life counter apps fail miserably at this. Good app, easy to use, practical and convenient for keeping track of health instead of using a piece of paper or something. 2 things I would like to see added is an energy counter and planes walker counter, then this would be the only thing anybody needs to play magic.

I love this app! I really like how you can change the background colors. The only thing I would suggest to improve is a way to track Commander damage, because I play that way often. Otherwise, it's is hands down the best life counter app I've had!

Rated it a 1 at first, then they disabled ads for the convinience of the users. Changed it to 5. Not many times these days does one see a producer care so much about the users of their app.

This is actually a pretty good app. The only thing I wish you could do is switch it to a single side health counter. Some of my friends like to use the health dice so the second side is useless in those cases

It is a good app for keeping track of Magic: The Gathering life totals. It includes health, poison counters, and a random die roller for starting turn and other things. However, that is all it is good for, and don't expect it to keep track of everything on the battlefield for you or something.

Its pretty good. Not overly complex, easy to learn, easy to use. Can keep track of who has what score thanks to color coding. Evenhas a reset button so you don't take forever starting the next game. Couldnt hope for better.

The UI is simple and good, but the infect counter thingy is kinda hard to use. Whenever I drag the infect counter bar, It also clicks the health bar too. It's a bit annoying. Other than that, good app.

This app is really good at what it does, all of the standard health options are there, the roller works well, and convenient reset and color change aren't amazing but definitely appreciated. There are only a few things keeping me from giving it 5 stars: I would like to see an option to add more players (4-6) for commander games, and I'd like to see an energy counter.

Very nice to have but I have two problems with it, 1.)the poison counter is not very easy to use without changing the life total, maybe change it to an arrow up or down method instead of a slider. 2.) Not really a problem but more of a nice addition I'd recommend is a way to keep track of energy counters. Otherwise I love it.

This is great. My girlfriend an I use it to play at the house. It lets you add and take life and role 2 die. And now has no ads. 10/10 would frack again!

So glad they have disabled add's nothing worse than mid game and a add pops up. Really like the dice feature as well.

Just wish this had an option for commander damage or an option to add more players like for EDH or free-for-all. Just something to think about for a future update. Great app otherwise!

Let me start by saying, I have used this app for a long time on both iOS and android. This is a wonderful and straightforward app. The main reason I am writing this review is the very nice surprise that I found when I opened the app I was treated to a pop-up that said we were "disabling ads in this version" for a reason i don't recall. I commend this company for doing that; Thank you, for putting the customer's satisfaction first over your guys bottom line. I personally found no issue with the ads that I saw. I understand ads can be annoying and frustrating sometimes, however everyone has to make a living off what they have made. I would recommend everyone who gets this app and finds it useful and likes it pay $1.99 to remove the ads particularly since this company has taken a hit to their bottom line. I commend this company for having excellent support and standing behind their customers. My one request would be to add energy counters & loyalty counters etc. and some of the other newer elements that MTG has added over these latest months. Thank you for making this app & standing behind your customers. Keep up the great work.

Great and easy to use app..lobe the dice rolls to see who goes first. I do wish they woulf afd the choice of how.many life totals you require for either just keep your own/having more than 2 players per game and coverig all their totals. As well as infect counters (though I understand infect isn't a big deal anymore)

This app is great for magic players of all shapes and sizes. Simple and easy with a clean looking interface makes the app a solid five. My only want for this app is more customization; i.e. more background layouts, ability to add player names, and a way to add a third or fourth player.

Would have been 5 stars but the dice roll off is set to almost always make the player the phone is pointed towards win. Just tried it 30+ times on my phone and 10+ on my friends, the roll off went to the same player all but two times.

Love the app! Only wish it allowed me to add/remove sums of life at once (i.e. +/- 5, +/- 10). Also the poison counter is a bit finicky at times, instead of a slider a counter would be been better.

Really like the clean look of this life counter. Also it has large buttons and optional poison counter which are really nice. Only wish I could optionally flip the opponent side around and that I could have button to directly edit the numbers for larger hits and for custom numbers above 100+. 4 player view would be nice too (maybe horizontal), but not required.

Clean and Simple! I use this to score so many games: Dice Masters, Ticket to Ride, Star Realms, Blood Rage, Lost Cities and more!

Best thing to happen to me for awhile. Got the old cards out after years then found this gem. Makes score keeping interesting with the color backgrounds and makes keeping score so much easier.

This app is amazing. Im new to this whole magic thing but I've shown this to my magic veteran friends and they love it! They still miss their dice some times though.

They said they disabled ads due to feedback. If they could take the time and make that decision, I can do the same to give them a nice review. Cheers!

It is limited to certain game modes. Comander damage and other winning or losing have no separate life bars.

It's everything I need it to do except one thing energy counter my deck is heavy energy based if they could add an energy counter or counters in general that would be great

This minimalist graphic interface, that is every bit aesthetically pleasing to look at, is a quick way to glance over at your life total for ease of interpretation. It also offers very easy and natural ways to adjust life totals as your opponent destroys when you topdeck nothing but lands. The extended features of the ui are seamlessly embedded, and let you display poison counters, roll 2 die for who will be playing or drawing, and even customize the color of your life total. (I may be missing another feature, if I am, sorry) Occasionally a window prompt will come up asking you rate the app (I presume this may be turned off somehow and I was just too dumb to notice), which can occasionally be a minor inconvenience, but a simple tap of the finger is all that is needed to remedy that, and if it hadn't showed up I wouldn't have thought to write this review!

This is an amazing app for magic, it does waste battery, but way better than a 20d. I think a useful addition would be more than 2 life counters, for 1v1v1s and such. Definitely would recommend.

This life counter is by far the most attractive, easiest to use, and all around best app for its purpose in the app store. Couldn't recommend it more.

This app saved me from wasting pen and paper. It makes the whole process of learning the game easier

Very good app. I just wish they let you play with more than 40 life for the really crazy games.

I dont give it 5 stars becuase it doesnt support more than 2 players... The rest is completely fine!

Great and simple app. Only improvement I could think to suggest would be some form of counter for planeswalkers in play.

Its a nice app, but the backgrounds seem somewhat plain. Not a really big complaint though.

It was really helpful it worked perfectly most of the time the only problem was the dice functionality it seems once somebody wins they win 5 times in a row before switching off to the other person and they win 5 times in a row not random as you would expect from dice.

Love it! It's LITE and easy to use. -/+ buttons are spot on click same as the Poison slidebar. Would auto-buy pay for this if it has other features such as: History List, Time Elapsed, Counters(For Commander Format, Mana, Energy). Over all I'd definitely recommend this to my friends as one of the best MTG life counters out there.

Love the app, just found about the ads situation and I am really happy to see fellow developers take care of users. As soon as I can find my CC I will buy the remove ads to support you guys!

Love it, two v two screen, you can save battery on one device for later. It's an excellent app, none are better.

I wish instead of it being a solid color you can also do clans and you made it to where their can be at most 6 players at a time. If you guys did that, I will come give this app the final 2 stars it deserves.
