Snowciety is the social network for skiers and snowboarders.
You can track your runs by measuring statistics like speed, distance and vertical meters. Snowciety plots your route on their beautiful maps. You can see where your friends are in real-time and can now share your whole adventure with the friends who share your passion for snow.

Been using different sports trackers and this one definitely works best for me on the slopes. Set and forget if you feel like it because of automatic lift and rest detection and increasing amount of social features that other apps lack when you feel like it. No bugs to report on htc one.

I had this app last year for iphone 4 and worked amazing. This year I have the galaxy s4 and quite frankly it's terrible. The pages dont load and all my recoreded runs will not load. Tine for a different app to track my runs on the mountain

The good: *App is well designed and thought-out *Lots of nice features The bad: *Many 'features' are not yet implemented, or simply don't work *Glitchy; frequent error messages or hangs It would seem that this app is not yet complete. In looking at the features, it appears that many functions are not yet finished or aren't set up yet. I'm hoping that it's a work in progress, because if everything eventually works 'as advertised' it will be a great app. But, for now, it just doesn't cut it. There's lots of information gathered that gets uploaded to your FaceBook page, but that info is not accessible on the phone! Too glitchy and incomplete to bother using now; I'm hoping that the developers are still working on it because it does show promise if all the functions eventually come to fruition! Using a Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2x.

It's pretty much impossible to explore the track on the map because the map can't be moved.
