Privacy App for Android
For example:
Why does Brightest Flashlight need to Geolocate you? It doesn’t. That’s why the FTC recently sued them. Here's the story: http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2014/04/ftc-approves-final-order-settling-charges-against-flashlight-app
But what about all the other apps on your smartphone or tablet? What about your kids? Just watch this video of Miss Teen USA 2013, Cassidy Wolf, who was victimized because an online predator could watch her remotely through her webcam from an app she trusted: http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/miss-teen-usa-discusses-webcam-hack-at-cyber-security-expo/

The ui is outdated
I can do all this from my settings. This app is pointless. I thought it would help me take away certain permissions...but no.
The only way to turn off individual permissions for an app is to share data with snoopwall. Is this safe?
privacy app
Lol
UNUSABLE. UI design problems. App does not display properly.
The illuminate is watching you
First, the people freaking out because it shows app store and Facebook etc as high vulnerability and rating 1 star are being silly. This app rates based on what apps access what, and those apps do access lots of stuff. Also yes you can dig the same info out manually. But this makes it easily visible in one places, and gives you alerts and an easy way to limit them. It's just a handy utility app, which is fine. The alerts for updates were too much for me. I would want an easy way to turn alerts off.
It does what it claims allowing you to disable functions you'd rather not have on or don't understand why the app has that permission. I only wish it showed every app such as Youtube and Play services, I do not understand why they need access to my camera.
What's great about it is it lets you examine exactly what permissions your apps have. What's not great about it is it does not give you control over individual permissions for individual apps. It connects you to their community where you can say you trust or do not trust a particular app. And it gives you an uninstall button, like so many other packages too. What I am looking for is individual control of each permission by app. This does not provide it.
sorry you totally destroyed this app with the most unfriendly update possible please go back to 2.0
If you want to shut down individual permissions in your apps you need the Advanced Permission Manager app by SteelWorks.
This app is one of the best, it tells the user what apps have access to what in there mobile devices, I was shocked to find how many apps have access to my SD card, camera, microphone, location,WiFi, accounts data and passwords, this is what users really need I give it 5 stars.
I mean really, this guy or company is just trying to make us aware about how Android apps have so much intrusive privacy permissions and you assholes just keep nagging senseless things. Be thankful there's one developer like this who speak and stood up!
So here is my second review. SnoopWall WAS a great app if you took the time to read what it will and won't do. SnoopWall even says it is free. But I paid for my version of it because I liked what it did. I was hoping for support too. But I was in error for that mistake. Three emails to them and nothing. All they want me to do is pay again even though I just paid a few months ago. My phone had an attempted hack. So the phone wiped everything. When I got it back and up and running again I reinstalled SnoopWall. All it does now is tell me I have reached my limit and I need to pay again if I want it to work. So, I am now going to seek a refund and will be removing SnoopWall from my android phone.
Please make a windows phone version of this app

Not sure how this is any different than most others. The community feature is what? A survey of whether or not I feel my music app should have 'coarse location' access or not? It gives the appearance of features typically only found in apps for rooted devices. A lot of hype over disproportionate capability.
nice idea. can't use it through. screen won't scroll. software testing?
Simply info that I get elsewhere.
it'd be cool if it allowed blocking permissions from apps
Does exactly as described. Well Done
All privacy policy termsand conditions
you cant do anything with this app it just does nothing even when you click on it unnecessary for that app the app is still able to access that permisson
Best app out there to keep your information protected
Great app!
Everything you can do with this app you can already do with your Android. It really isn't necessary. just a waste of space.
Another awesome app. Thanks.
Privacy
Sorry to see you have strayed from your original intent. If you add the port/app customization of PRIVACY SHIELD and add a keyboard port to this version you will be a 10 star winner. As it stands....you are no longer unique. What your new version offers can be done through Application Manager making your app a space waster. Please gang.....refocus your efforts back to the original intent. I am glad to see that you are still supporting PRIVACY SHIELD. Anxiously standing by for the 10 star winner.
Nice apk but I need to control what is listed in Notifications Bar not the APK. Uninstalled
It's good but I'm curious as to why you need permission to connect to the Internet? I don't have any apps on the Internet, just my phone lol
It doesn't show an overview of the apps permissions. Plus its more confusing to use. Started as a good app why would you make it worse
Useless. New UI no longer provides for controlling how apps access ports. Does nothing that can't be done using normal Android settings or simply reading Permissions.
UNUSABLE. UI design problems. App does not display properly.
Thanks for make this apps.
This app is great! It tells me all the permissions even the ones that apps hide.
Not so bad
