I absolutely hate the local network limitation. I'm at home and I want to watch on my cellular connection because my home internet is garbage. PlayStation Vue has these ridiculous location restrictions. How about using the gps to see that I'm sitting in my fking living room!! I connected to my WiFi and ran the app. It authenticated. I want to be able to watch anything I want even if I'm on travel.

everything was going great until today. i tried to watch on my PlayStation and it said i have more than the max of 5 devices. i only have 5 devices on the account. i did chat for support because i couldnt figure out how to manage the devices on my account and the guy who helped me was no help at all and the chat for support got shut down while i was in the middle of typing a question. i am about to cancel my account if i dont get a straight answer. how do i manage my devices?

I have to start app, then close, then reopen for it to connect to Chromecast, every time without exception. Works fine on PS4. Service is way better than Sling. The app really sucks though. 6/10/17 Chromecast connects without issue now. However, the latest update has made it so that nothing will play. What a waste of money.

It was great until everything became mobile restricted. Not worth it at all anymore. Updating as of 6/18/17. It started out working fine but since an update earlier in the year everything has become mobile restricted. Come on guys. This is useless if I can't use it on my phone. I've tried all of the remedies without any luck. Droid Turbo.

The UI is clunky, but at least the app provided a guide(unlike the Roku version). But now the app isn't working and I am getting an error message that I need to update my Android Application. grrrr.

First of all i want to say, I LOVE Playstation VUE! I play it on my consules (ps3 & ps4) everyday. Better than Spectrum tv. I loved watching ps vue on my Samsung smart phone. But now this app stopped working!!!!! What happened? There was a PS Vue update yesterday. Did this cause the problem?? I dumped Spectrum tv. 2 days ago. Is Spectrum now BLOCKING this app from working??? How can i get this App to work again?? I really miss watching PS VUE on my phone. I'm BACK! And so is this app! After a few hrs of this comment, i came back from the store and saw that this app is working on my phone again!!! Life is GOOD once again!! LOL so I'm now thinking that the owner of this app must of did fix the problem! I'm putting on my happpy face!

Imporove chrome connectivity my ass. My phone is the only device that is signed into, but it says there are too many devices cinnected. This is starting to piss me off

Can't watch outside network... it seems this issue was fixed for everyone but me. I have reinstalled the app and logged in and out several times on both the android mobile app and my roku. Nothing is working. I don't know why it won't let me watch, I'm on the same WiFi network as my roku, even in the same room but I can remember watch. How can I fix this??

Incredibly unstable app on my S8 streaming to Chromecast, compared to other streaming via same method. When starting a dvr program, app freezes up permanently or takes minutes to decide it's going to play something. Lots of "this must be in beta" quirks, but those are the dealbreaker bugs for me.

I used my phone and casted tv just fine to my chromecast 2 days ago. Now it won't let my cast it at all... I have done everything that they said in the trouble shooting to no avail.

Garbage app. If it isn't crashing or disconnecting from your Cast, it's telling you to renew your subscription even though you know it's been renewed in the last two days. Skip Sony and choose someone else if you're trying to cut the cord. Sony isn't worth giving money to.

The UI is awful, but it works on your device. That's the only reason I gave more than one star. I used it to cast to my Chromecast on my TV and it would stop constantly stop casting or display the incorrect data on the Television or would just simply refuse to cast. Really gave me a negative PSVue experience.

Terrible user experience, so unintuitive and cumbersome, left Comcast with high hopes, this is so not worth it. I hate hate hate Comcast but this is painful. Update a day later: Man this app sucks! I can't believe I am paying for this! If I didnt hate Comcast more, I'd out of here in a second! Update two days later: I am watching something and it suddenly says, 'Thanks for vueing, please select something else to vue'. No I want want I am vueing, not what you think I should vue! I hate Comcast for putting me through this!

The definition of mobile is "able to move or be moved freely or easily." With this app, you are required to be on your home network and therefore not "mobile." I am disappointed in the fact that I pay for an internet streaming service that can't be used elsewhere. I understand that Sony may be required to have these restrictions based on cable company politics, but I feel as though calling this app "mobile" is deceptive.

I used to love this service. But the recent price increase proves they don't care about customers. Get rid of Viacom and other top sports channels. Then add gamer channels. I ask why was the price increase given and the slim package taken away. I don't get local channels so why am I going to have to pay the same as markets that do. I will be dropping this service once the price increase takes place. You broke my heart.

The app is super sluggish and slow. Tried it on many devices to rule out any doubt. Layout could be better designed resources for development shouldn't be an issue Sony. This review is only on the app not the service.

It's okay app but sometimes I get a reloading bar during a show on any channel not sure why that happens maybe Playstation vue. will fix issue in their next update that's if they care about their customers at all

Before you waste your money read this review. I have been a subscriber since Sony announced they would have Android Support a few months ago. The service is awful, rwd & fwd often is broken on PS4. I specifically bought it for F1 races sometimes it will start the program almost at the end so before I watch the race I already see who has won, thanks Sony! I own TWO Sony Android 4k TV's the app does not work on their own tv's, constantly crashing. I tried to cast programs using a Nexus 6p it just sits there, and on mobile everything is restricted. How insane is it that Sony makes 4k Android TV's and there app was built for the iphone first and still does not work on their own TV's? It's total garbage, and this morning ruined another f1 race for me crashing on lap 2 and restarting at the awards ceremony.

While this app may be useful to use in your home network it's basically useless outside of it. Sony better step up their game because direct TV now and sling allows you to watch content outside of your home network. On your cellular network. Update: 7/8/2017 so sony evidently didn't do any research before launching this service, because if they did they would have learn why people hate cable companies. It's like sony took it as a challenge and told the cable companies "hold my beer" because with the recent news of prices hikes and losing Viacom channels with a mobile app that's an oxymoron because you can only use it on your home network which is the opposite of definition of mobile. sony's well on their way to learning what it means to be a company that people loathe. Point being if you are unprepared or incapable of doing something then perhaps you shouldn't . I have a feeling that psvue is going to wither and die on the vine with more competitors hitting the streaming market. Looks like , as always good things must come to end and it's time to start looking for another provider.

Great user interface but it's clunky,slow,and buggy and will forget where I left off in a show or mivie which is frustrating because I then must take 10 mins to load back into the spot of the movie I was at. VERY DISAPPOINTING COMING FROM A BIG NAME COMPANY CALLED SONY

You guys screwed yourself jumping $10 in price. Not a big difference in price anymore when you compare Internet/TV bundles vs standalone internet with PlayStation Vue. In fact, I have to pay a Internet penalty fee from increased streaming, since I watch TV through the Internet now. Raising price just after YouTube TV just released seems like someone is making mistakes & getting greedy. Although you make improvements all the time, your service just isn't close to as good as cable service. Although there's DVR, half the time, my I can't watch my news programs, cuz the soonest one I can review is from 5 days prior. It seems there are bugs. Some shows that say I added to DVR, I can't find in my shows, even when I go to the full menu page. Vice news displays out of order & new episodes hard to find. I can't fast forward or rewind many programs, I get stuck watching commercials in all live programs and a majority of recorded programs. There's still a lot of improvements to be made. Yet, I still get to watch all of my channels/shows at what used to be a fraction of the price, but no longer. Not since Internet companies counteracted their cable TV loss w/penalty fees for high streamers & your price increase. I'm grateful I have a promo price thru the end of the year. It gives me time to research & decide if I'm going back to cable or checking out YouTube TV. In fact, I'm going to see if there's a free trial of YouTube TV. I can see raising the price a few dollars, but I have zero trust that you won't keep having astronomical price jumps. Realize that YouTube is way more popular & well known than PlayStation Vue. While most people I meet never heard of Vue & I've been a walking commercial for you, I've heard a ton of buzz amongst my friends & their kids about YouTube TV. If anything, you should be more competitive & do all you can to keep your base & keep your growth stats steady against the biggest threat you've seen against Vue, but instead, you respond by raising the price. I am very interested in YouTube TV, but made the decision to be loyal and support Vue for being the frontrunner & giving me a great price when I desperately needed it. But that loyalty isn't being returned to me, because your loyalty is to your pocketbook. Good luck with that. If you're not very careful, you're going to end up in the same category as MySpace & AOL.

Been using this app for awhile now. I love the built in CloudDVR and how I can select my favorite shows and add them to my home screen for immediate access. I also love the guide even though I don't use it much it's great to know what I can see is playing whenever I do go to the guide! The app icon could change it up a bit. And the battery drainage could really go away though

I've had ps vue for almost a year and everything worked to a tolerable point. Now my tablet has error messages and I can't watch anything. Come on SONY.. you are better than this. Update the VUE app more consistently. We shouldn't be running into these problems so far into your launch. I WILL use alternatives if things don't improve.

Maybe you should fix the website so it accepts credit card numbers. Then you should fire anyone involved in a bug that is easy to fix, from 2011. That kind of sloppy work should get everyone's fired from CTO down, because they hire idiots and don't know it. I can't pay you, for a service Sony spent millions developing, only to miss revenue because you customers are turned away BY HORRIBLE PROGRAMMING, TESTS, AND MANAGEMENT!! smh
