Fantastic Idea - I'm a big user of http://incoherency.co.uk/countdown/ and so I wanted to try James'new app. Unfortunately the version in the google play store did not work for me as I use a non-standard app to send SMS. I messaged the developer and withing 24 hours he sent me a debug version that I was able to test and it's working like a ninja now
