SMS Blocker

The app works great. My antivirus reported a trojan in it but it was false alarm and's been fixed already. Good performance on my Android 7.0 Moto G5 Plus (XT1683). I miss 2 features: block *hidden* numbers and *lock* an sms so it won't be deleted. On the other hand, the app supports using "*" as a wildcard to block entire phone number ranges. Very nice. I upgraded to Premium. PS: please make it possible to select a SMS and then copy its sender's phone number.

Installed this app, and it does what it says it will do to block an annoying message I kept getting with specific text inside the message body. But now when my good text messages come in, my phone does not alert me with any sound or vibration. I am missing a lot of important messages that I don't respond to, because I am not aware a new message was delivered. Fix this, and I will give you 5 stars.

i download this app because after two weeks there were result in our school. i got less mark.. so i dont want to let my parents comes at our school too see result.. but school give notice by sms to parents... this app helps to avoid coming sms of our schools and also notice about results sms... thanking u to develop this cool app..

This is a great app but I want to ask... If you block someone in your contacts then delete the number are they still blocked, also will the number still show in blocked list. I have a problem and want to permanently block a number and have no trace of it on my phone. If you could help with my inquiry I would be most grateful. Many thanks T

After using this app for months I just found out that my picture messages and not being received in the app. I restored to my default app and they are coming to through. Also the app has a major flaw which almost cost me my job. Use this app at your own peril!

I want to simply block SMS & use my existing message service, but this requires being the main text app on Android. So until the co can build a workaround for this major restriction it's useless.

Decent look and layout. Beware of the porn looking ads. Also it won't send images (even small ones that my stock messages app sends), & shows a number on the blocked messages folder even when there are no blocked messages in that folder & should say 0. Doesn't show time messages received. I wouldn't pay for it in its' current capacity.

Clean Inbox your Award Winning Sms Blocker is unable to filter spam messages from "Special offers " even after adding it to block list. Earlier it was "Police" n "Fire Brigade" which were able to bypass your spam filter. Fed up... I hope you are not charging them for getting their messages delivered to the customer's inbox allowing them to ignore your spam filter. Good Job.. Poor Business tactics. No response even after emailing screenshots uninstalling...

I got the premium paid app so I would not see my ex texting me. But it only deletes the folder once per day waste of money. I still have to see the text to delete them...

I don't need to know that it's working or not but on my Samsung grand prime it's not working at all. I don't want to see the number of texts it's blocking while it's working either. ???? that just makes me want to remove the block and get curious. Please create an option to disable that feature.

My quality of life has vastly improved since installing SMS Blocker. My hair has started growing back and I have even met a girl. I highly recommend it. I haven't seen my dad for nigh on 40 years but the day I installed the app I bumped into him. You need SMS Blocker in your life. Oh yes it also very competently blocks dodgy and spam text messages.

I have an ex husband from hell! I tried to block him by putting him on my spam list my phone company, crickett, offered. It didnt work. I found this app and OMG, what a life saver! Thanks guys!

This is the best app I have on my cell!! I get so many calls from automated recordings and telemarketing calls. Very easy to use and I would recommend this app. Only thing it won't do is block messages, you have to download a separate app. I give this app a 5 star!!

i'm wondering if this app has been optimized for users in mainland China. Is there any build-in mechanism, like smart/cloud blacklist database available both online and offline, so the blocking function can be maintained sustainably as well as workable when there is no data service？

Premium paid user. Worth it in every way. Blocks all spam text which are getting worse and more prevalent all the time. So, this an essential app to have. My only wish is that you could skin or change the colors and look of the interface. Small matter, but it would be nice to have the option to go for a bolder look.

It's already deciding on its own rather a text message is spam or not when it's not in my contact list. I'd like it to asked me first. Cause once it's marked block, you play hell getting it out. looked all thru settings for help button, that's a big fat NOPE! Besides the above problems it's working. Will continue to monitor and update.

Really good at filtering spam. Just 2 problems. I really wish that premium wasn't 9$, is understand 5$ but 9 is a little high. Also I'm not a fan of having to make it my default messagin app but can't really do anything about that (thanks android). A dark theme though would be 5????????????????????

Previous issue of "unsent message" seems to have been resolved itself. In terms of fluidity of use, I really think if you press "back" from a message to someone, you should go back to your message overview window as opposed to minimizing the app.

App works well and does what it's meant to. Only disappointing issue is I have sent 2 messages to developer re an issue I'm having . Unable to sms messages to numbers not in my phone book. I have had no response

It's a good app. But it doesn't block the messages with attachment like pictures so you will still receive messages with pics and sometimes doesn't block messages even though you put it in the block list, so please fix that's ASAP. And it doesn't delete the blocked message so you you have to go to the blocked message and delete it manually.so please fix that.

I like this app as a SMS blocker but I found out that it is mandatory to set it as a default messaging app. Then I tried several times to send messages but it just couldn't do it. Simply put this app cannot send messages from my android 6.0

Not suitable as default app for dual sim phones. There is no sim indication for received smses, not even in msg details. Just an option to choose which sim to send an sms from. Hope to see that support soon as the other reviews seem great.

I downloaded for the text filter. I set it up to block any text with a particular word and they still come thru. Gives choice to allow or block #s the first time but spam uses a different # each time. I got a new # that gets constant spam and this app does absolutely nothing it claims to help with it

This app lacks permissions for it to send MMS messages. It has lacked it for a long time and needs to be patched. The auto response feature has also failed to work on several occasions.

I used to like rather love this app before the recent update which messed up things.. They have made it mandatory to use this app for all messaging instead of the default messaging app which comes with the phone.. I like the blocking to be taken care by this app but I want to use my regular messaging app.. Please make that change... I will switch it back to 5 star..

Simple and clean design...it's rated 3 stars because I would prefer to use my own native text app which you can't do with this one. But since then I have had to have this installed... It will gets 3 stars because I can't personalize it. ????

Paid for the premium upgrade to block an abusive person. Doesn't work, can still see all their messages. Really upset to be honest. Waste of money, wish I could get a refund.

Very effective.... I have a hostile and crazy Ex-Girlfriend that textes me atleast 18 times a day..... I thank God for this app... It allows me to have peace.....Keep up the useful and good work......

I wish that it would let you sync your contacts to the whitelist. Also I wish that it was a free forever without having a trial. Also I wish that when I'm on my phone that one another call comes in it will not cut off my conversation with someone else. So the Improvement is that they need to let you sync your contacts to the whitelist and also to not cause my phone calls to drop due to an incoming call.

I use it on a galaxy S. Zero configuration was required by default. The app blocked most spam without problems. There were very few false positives, and it's very easy to add in lists of numbers to accept/reject if necessary. Great app overall

For me, the only problem with this app is the inability to switch between portrait and landscape mode. It is a huge pain to go from using landscape with every other app to being stuck with portrait mode on the app I use the most. Other than that...this app is nails...I'm an idiot for not testing the app immediately after DL...but really...fix this...such a full featured app without one of the most basic Android functions.

Didn't Block 8 numbers that spam me daily. I ended up just deleted the conversation and app after the second day.

Works like a charm. Blocks all spam, saves me mega time not used sorting out bad apples. If unsure, gives block option msg. Very pleased!

Dear Sir / Madam,  Blocked messages should be completely disappear from phone.  Now it can be seen easily in blocked messages section.  Often, my girlfriend check my phone, she can easily read all blocked messages from my ex girlfriends by just tap blocked messages.  If I add number in my ex section, then it can be detected easily because there is only a few number can be added. Please increase the limit to add number in my ex section (minimum 100).Please improve it. I'll rate you 5 star.

It sends you a blocked spam notification every time it blocks a text, but it stops sending them after like 2 our 3 spam notifications. Just check your settings to turn it off. That's all there is to say good about it really.

The "block my ex" feature does not work. I paid $8.99 for the premium version. Not only am I aggravated that I'm out $8.99, but this miserable perpetual victim is still bombarding me with her whiney text messages.

Blocking my word does not work for me which pretty much kills the usefulness of this app. I have TELUS in the allow list and it gets marked as spam every time. Every message from Telus has Telus in the message.

I did like the app because it efficiently blocks text however (big issue) it replaces your default messaging app on your phone AND doesn't send or receive picture messages well. It constantly won't send or won't download someone's picture message almost makes me want to delete and deal with the annoying ppl I'm trying hard to ignore. I'll try out another app and let you guys know.. needs a fix!

Really enjoy this app and have been able to block the few people I don't want to hear from. The only thing that could be better is that I currently cannot receive pictures or other media messages, which would be an improvement.

I like this app quite a lot, especially the speed and easy to use settings. I would give it 5 stars if you could at least change the background and text color. Texting at night with a bright white screen is blinding, and plain white is rather drab. Perhaps also being able to adjust text size and font would be a bonus too..... Not all of us have 20/20 vision! Other than that..... Great program
