StockMarketEye for Android
Bought FULL version, discovered it is for desktops only and has nothing to do with Android Tablet version. Purchased Version, available for purchase. only installs on OLDER types of equipment. Such as laptop, desktop, etc.. Because I don't have one of those, I don't know if there are operational differences besides the limited abilities of the Android Version. Printed out the PDF file for the user manual, it is outstanding and long! It's quality induced me to purchase the relatively inexpensive lifetime version that doesn't install on my tablet. Oh well, we in the hinterlands may expect to much, after all, we are west of the Mississippi......
The version I paid for stop updating. Now once an unreasonable amount of money to make it workable
Excellent on my Samsung tablet. Sync from desktop to tablet took a few seconds. Far faster than the deskstop version. Display and sort options need work, but this is an excellent first version.
Been using the desktop version of this great app and have been patiently waiting for them to release an Android version. They have kept it simple and easy to use, but still very useful. I find it practical for keeping track of my stocks during the day, when I'm away from my computer.
Good beginning. Needs lot of refinements. As this is the very first release one needs patience. Crashes when opening a holding in the portfolio need immediate attention. I am using the desktop version which is excellant. I expect android version also meets my expectations.
Awesome compliment to Linux app!
Arrrgh. I love the Program on my desktop but my App experience was not good. It decided to change $AUD to $US on it's own accord and I had to go hunting to work out why my Portfolio had decreased in value. Sync could be much clearer (what is push/pull). The positives - I didn't have to manually add my portfolio like I did with Stockwatcher. But Stockwatcher is a lot more readable than StockMarketEye. I finally uninstalled this after an error I couldn't recover from (although I didn't try re-booting my phone). I'm going to keep an eye on the upgrades but at the moment, a lot of work still needs to be done to make this a desirable app, in my opinion. When it's running smoothly it should fulfil a need in the market place.
