Smart Toy

I've seen tons of bad reviews on the toy and app, and I purchased two of the smart toys. The first linked up fine, read cards fine, and heard responses fine. The second did not. All it took was a reset like the directions said to do and it worked fine. There's a reset button above the charging port that you hold down until the animal reboots. The app is great, I love that it allows me to interrupt what my kids are playing to give them reminders to brush their teeth!

Bought one each for my 2 boys and so far my 5 yr old loves it! Installed the app and everything worked great connected to his monkey (2mins to do if that) and I can control volume reminders and activities for him. Haven't gotten the cards to read yet by placing in front of (nico) his monkey but other than that he's played with it the last 20 mins since he pulled it out of the box! Holding him walking talking and all kinds of interaction with him he loves it!

Have tried for several hours now to get the toy to connect to the parent app and it will not connect. I can't get it to work with my phone or with the tablet. What's up Fisher Price. We paid a lot of money for this toy... I am beyond frustrated right now.

App doesn't connect consistently. When it does connect it immediately loses the toy signal that is less then 2 feet away. Terrible apple implementation. Not that hard to stay connected....many other apps accomplish the same thing with no issue. I am disappointed and so is my daughter on her birthday.

When I installed this app I made sure to do all things that I needed to do to make it connect. But when I try to connect it just keeps scanning for the toy...maybe I'm not doing something right but who knows. The toy on it's own I do like.

I would expect for the price of this thing, it would work properly. App doesn't connect with toy. Have had nothing but problems with it.

$100 damn teddy bear. Stupid thing still won't connect and I bought it when it first came out. What a waste

Hard Reset Works...BUT... I shouldn't have to hard reset this out of the box to get it to connect. It should work on the first startup. Works now, but very frustrating at first.

This toy is complete garbage. Fisher price should be sued for misrepresentation . The app is worse. All the reviews are true. Don't buy this garbage.

***UPDATE: almost a year later and still can't connect the damn thing to the app.... sigh.** You pay 100 plus dollars for this toy and the fricken app won't even work??? Can't even get it to work at all!

This is a great app to add to this already fun bear. Loading the additional cards we bought is kinda challenging and annoying but once loaded their fun.

My daughter loves this toy. She says that it's her best friend. It was a little frustrating to get everything to sink at first.

I would give a better rating but it takes far too long to connect to devices. Make it so i don't spend a hour or more on just connecting bear to devices and I will give it 5 stars.

It doesnt connect to the wifi,got it as a gift for my son from the US and now there is no service center here in Pakistan....please tell me atleast how to raise the volume manually so that we could hear what its saying atleast.

Bought 2 for my kids for christmas. I can't get the WiFi on the bear and monkey to work. I can't change their volume, name, nothing. Here's to day two of figuring these things out. Shouldn't be this hard to connect these guys!!

Doesn't let me change volume and I'm trying to connect it to fix the date. Crazy how much I spent on this to have these kind of problems.

I had problems with it in the beginning but after resetting it it paired fast! My boys love it!

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling 5 times. It never Connects to wifi. I am so frustrated that I have wasted my money on this toy. Get it together!

The toy would never pair to my phone, even after resetting it like other parents said. I did however have success pairing it with my tablet. After that, I just signed into the app on my phone and the information carried over.

This app doesn't work at all !Please fix it my kids got smart toy bears for christmas, but I cannot connect them wifi !

This application does not easily connect with the toy. I have to restart it every time we want to use it.

Takes forever to connect, half the things "he dont know yet" and the time it says is way off. FIX PLEASE!!!

It's not connecting no matter what device I use to download the app. I'm tired of trying. It's stupid

This is a poor setup for a simple toy. Literally installed on my daughter's tablet and trying to install on computer in order to customize this smart toy. Needs tremendous improvements!

The app doesn't connect with the toy. Constant problems. Don't buy it.

Won't work with any of the 3 android devices I tried with

My husband has the app on his phone but tonight he is working late. I tried putting th e app on my phone and logged in but it says that's on another device. So I make a new log in and can't connect because there's already an account associated. So my toddler and I are frustrated. the bedtime setting sucks. It cuts off way too fast, he doesn't fall asleep, if anything it keeps him awake because he is constantly turning it back on and then it turns on trying to get him to dance!! Need bedtime hrs on app

Very disappointed. Toy won't connect to app.

It took me two separate devices to connect this toy to my account. IOS and Android. App doesn't stay connected I have to fully close out the app in order to make changes throughout the day. Have yet to hear it say my childs name, age or the name that we picked for it. UPDATE: It has taken me an iPhone and this phone in order to set this up semi-properly.

I got this for my son at Christmas and only now was I able to get the app working thinking there were things he was missing. But to my surprise it is the same stuff he can do without the app. How in the world does this grow with your child? If there aren't new things for them to do.

I would give it five stars but it's hard to pair and it disconnects and my son keeps getting frustrated saying it doesn't work! Please fix it fast!!!

Bought this toy for my son. He loves the bear but the darn app is horrible. Can't connect to Teddy to turn up the volume or play music.... Please Fix This Somehow !!!

Got the monkey for Xmas for kid. Doesn't read cards well took months to get connected with app now that it is connected and my kid plays with it monkey will show that it is connected and working but doesn't actually do any thing. Nothing great in app thought maybe new games or more specific chooses but no. Does say kids name but other then that just find a teddy ruxspin. Kid loves it I hate it.

It was easy to log on, set it up to my wifi. Perhaps there was a new upgrade recently. My kids love it

Had some trouble with set up when we first got it but we got that figured out. Works great except 1 choice. But otherwise great.

Don't waste your time or money. Toy doesn't work, won't connect.

If support would bother to email me back I would let them know why the Android app isn't working for most people but they don't seem to care

So this bear is going back. The app doesn't allow you to register.
