Memory Locker for Android
Unacceptable amount of permissions required, likely so the information collected can be sold to the ad network they're using. To top it off, the app doesn't even do what it says. I tested this with pokemon go, setting the priority to -17(as high as possible). I have 3GB of RAM and pokemon go takes 1.5gb. Pokemon was unloaded as soon as I opened google chrome and loaded a single tab.
App is working, but I don't understand why it needs so many permissions and why it is always asking for root... I give it permissions but every few seconds I get the ML has been granted super user...
Asking un-necessary permissions and yet it doesn't do a thing.
There is no excuse for an app running in the background to show full screen popup ads.
The bastard wants to read your contacts.
Guys thank u for creating this appbi have a low memory phonw and it keeps killing my apps that i use so im thankful thatbthis app has been created
I like the idea of the app but only letting us lock one app is kinda sad. I am uninstalling and will try memory manager by jrummy
Apps are getting closed, bad app
Didn't even run, says it needs BusyBox or something.
Thx my gta S.A. from crashing
dosnt do what it says
Works 90% well, some such as override dns still not worked.
Doesnt work on 7.1.1
Will this work if you root, lock an app into ram and unroot?
Bullshitt
At first I thought this app din't work. the blame is with me, you actually need to tap that little lock icon to apply the setting
Asks for lots of permissions, spins around loading, then ends at a blank white box with an X in the corner. Closing that or hitting back just exits the app. I have root but this app is suspicious. Do not install!
There are so many ads popping left and right, up ad down, it has got to be some kind of a record..........
too many ads and root permissions pop-ups, go suck a dead horse oick mofacka
Looks like there was a rush to finish the app, i bet no one tested before the release. App runs like if its still IN its ALPHA STAGE.......
Open briefly then closes. Way to go.
It's ok
I've noticed no effect on my Galaxy A9 pro - my call recorder app still stops like before(with -17 priority). Actually, I found no working method. Editing "/data/local.prop" does not help either. PS: found it! Samsung's "smart manager" was the "killer".
Actually I like this app, but some time didn't work with fully. Please check n upgrade to be the best app in locker app. Thank you.
Location permission, contacts permission... Really? Also the app freezes at loading, nothing happens, even with root perm. (7.1.1)
It really works: I locked four applications I do need to keep running and there they stay. No root!
its very slow than open it
Great app
I wanted to lock more than one app and I don't mind paying extra for premium, however when I click to upgrade to premium it says I need to add a Google account. Also the toast notification every few seconds is extremely annoying, you really ought to disable that, going to have to uninstall if I can't get rid of it because it's annoying af. Update: I got rid of the toast notifications with supersu, it turned out to be a supersu issue. The request for a Google account was a permissions issue, granted permissions and it upgraded to premium just fine. I locked poweramp and floating apps as a test and loaded half life 2 on my Nvidia Shield tablet with a song playing in poweramp, halfway through loading half life 2 poweramp closes, app does not work, I demand a refund.
Well, it seemed to work but I uninstalled it because it shouldn't need access to my contacts or location to do its job. Also, it shouldn't need root every few seconds.
Doesn't work at all. Set an app to the highest available priority and it still closed the second it wasn't the active application. It's a shame I have to give this app a star it doesn't deserve.
Thank you for actually listening to your costumers and fixing my issue on the previous v3 version, best dev ever
already bought it. but still 2 apps limit and keep telling me to upgrade to premium.....
Didn't need it when I had KitKat but since Marshmallow closes background apps after some time, I have installed this little app. I found that my timers, alarms, hourly chimes etc.. stopped working when Marshmallow switched them off! With Memory Locker I am able to set priorities for my background apps to prevent them from closing and everything works! Simple to use.
The free version only lets you keep one app in memory, you have to get premium to add more than one. I found this totally fair, developers deserve to be compensated. However, when you tap on "get premium", it says you need to add your Google account to do so, and yet there's no option to do that. Even after the 3.0 update, still the same problem.
Thought it worked, turned out it didn't manage to stop apps getting killed, now bigger adverts, contact, location and storage permissions required... Uninstalled
4 starts because the applications lacks a method to list the permisions modified and hence the user must look at each app to find what priority it haves, this is particulary difficult due to the excess of fkcling ads
It used to work on lollipop, but after the latest update, it is basicaly useless. Can we expect that to change?
Not very useful or I can't use it coorect

The app used to work, but now it does not. Even though I have locked Spotify and made sure I have done it correctly, it still closes in the background. And this app has other issues. It needs your location and contact permissions, which I am certain an app like this DOES NOT need. And the advertising is just too intrusive. If you do not swipe away the app in your recent apps list, it may pop up and interrupt whatever you are doing with an ad. And for all these reasons, I cannot rate higher than two stars, and I think that's being generous.
