Really helped me communicate with my Italian finances parents and family. I felt included and much more welcoming then I thought I would be. Also I didn't need my fiance with me ever second of the day on our visit back to his home. I went shopping and had a girls day with my future mil, sil's, aunts and cousins. This app was a life-savor!

I don't need Spanish translation. I speak Spanish. I need Japanese translation on the fly. The time it takes to scroll down the list to find the desired language is often the difference between help and "I'm busy “. We need to be able to set default languages. Additionally, the speech is oftentimes too quick and there is no tempo control, making it a record that must be played multiple times. For the price, you don't expect much, but this could be a better product.

There are many apps available in the net for translating the sentence of any language to many different languages. I downloaded several apps of this type but all fails to do their job. All apps can only translate a single and very simple sentence correctly. This app is one of them but.... but but my friends this app is very special and different from all of them you will experience it when you download it. I am using this app as a dictionary and on this basis I will give 100/100 marks to this app.

There are a ton of cultural references, sayings, and earworms that don't directly translate, but besides that grammatical conjugation varies due to context. Languages aren't codes that can be cracked with a translation key. If you're looking for areas of improvement, look at the work done by the developers of Captcha. Instead of converting old books into text you're dealing with audio and it's conversion into text. I'll explain more in the e-mail.

I downloaded this app today to help me study Spanish and can't stop playing with it. This app has an excellent voice recognition program and I have yet to find its vocabulary limit. I have only used this app To translate from English to Spanish, but I have found it easy to use and very accurate, to the point that you have a choice of regional dialects. Simply speak the phrase that you want translated and then choose to read the phrase or have the translator speak it for you. I would very much recommend this

As a Building Contractor it used to be that a little Spanish would get you by in navigating the subcontract workforce. However today's labor and subworkforce consists of a melting pot of languages and cultures which are difficult to navigate with out the right tools. This app is the right tool for the aforementioned challenge, robust and accurate and it fits well in my tool box....

Now I can teach my Spanish boyfriend how to speak the language of his heritage!

I've been looking for a good Spanish translator for work. One thing I'd like to see is to be able to have a conversation with a customer without having to always changing the language between each speaker. Just hit a button for English speaker and the other person hits the Spanish button so they can respond. It would make it easier to hold a conversation. Thx.

Tried the free version and was satisfied with it so I purchased it. I had some technical errors with it after using it a few times and decided to uninstalled and reinstall. When I reinstalled it, it asked for the purchased code, which I did not have because I didn't get a chance to write it down after purchasing it. I contacted management and they provided me with a new code in a timely manner. Still satisfied with the app regardless of the minor hiccup.

This is a really nice app. I've just tried the limited version and I am very impressed. And I have laryngitis right now and it totally understood what I said and translated it into different languages. If it could understand me when I am this hoarse I'm sure when I'm well it will work perfectly. I'm confident that if I were to need this in another country or even in talking to someone in the US from another country, I could easily communicate with anyone. Kudos to Smart Mobile Software.

This is an amazing tool to learn new languages and it's easy to use. This app is very helpful if you like to travel abroad and aren't able to communicate foreign language. The reason I've gave only 4 stars because there's no quick switch button between the languages.

My native language is English, and of course being from the South we make Morris code sound unrecognizable. My Moto made me proud. Your app understood me perfectly and without requiring me to repeat a syllable lol. 4 stars three second first try..

My husband has planned the trip of a lifetime for us for 7 weeks in Europe but cannot remember a word of another language other than English...I know this will save not just his stress of communication to locals but probably our marriage !!! Lol

Im from Sicily..we my family there still speaks the native tounge..im trying to speak most popular to speak to other family members most southern part of Italy. I born in america my father came here in 1929..he made us speak his language..however we could not write it. This is so on point..i love it..

This app works perfectly, and does precisely what it says. I lived & worked in Italy.. and learnt to speak Italian, but have got a little rusty in recent years. I tried a few sentences, and they converted perfectly. I certainly would recommend this app to others... especially if you travel or mix with other cultures.

I've been working on learning German for awhile now, and I'm much better at reading than speaking. When I a conversation, my memory of the language goes out the window. This app makes me feel more confident in getting myself into a conversation with locals, and from what I've tested is incredibly accurate!

My boyfriend is from El Salvador and speaks very little English and I do not speak or understand much spanish. This application is a relationship saver. Their were a few times the translation made no sense, but overall, I was impressed. I had been using a text translator which was very tedious to use. Finding this app was a delight. It understands me - no mean feat in itself - and translates crisply and seems to make sense. No doubt it will stumble over idioms, but it is a stunning app. We have come a long way from phrase books. With this app I genuinely believe half the stress of travel is eradicated.

It's a great concept and helps alot, but not for regular conversation. There's a small delay when translating. And when you need them to respond, you have to fish through the drop down menus to change the language vice versa quickly. Maybe have two columns. So when you select the speak and listen languages on one column, the other side automatically presets the reverse.

Need a translator in your pocket? Well even if you don't that's exactly what you get with this app. When you stay in a diverse city like me its difficult to know every language. App offers very accurate translations. I am a school teacher and it's been a long time since I took Spanish and used it regularly. I have a new esl student that has no English ability and I am expected to teach him math. I downloaded this app with the hopes of being able to help him more effectively in a one on one setting. I just wish there wasn't a limit to the number of daily translations.

Easy to use and it does what is supposed to. It really helped me with my language barrier. I would suggest a button for quick switch between speaking and listening language (now I have to the change every time in drop down menu) but otherwise thumbs up for the app guys.

I'm using this app to turn spoken Spanish into written Spanish. I don't speak Spanish so I can't usually tell what the actual words are to write them down. This app shows me what the spoken Spanish words are and translates them to English so I can double check word usage. So very helpful to me and it works great!

This is going to make my life so much easier. No more language barrier for me. 4 stars because sometimes when Google listens it wants me to touch Mic and repeat before I even say anything. I have found that because of the extraordinary sensitivity of the mic, any background noise at all will have an affect. I don't think that's the apps fault.

I am totally amazed by this app. I thought it would be another case of where it doesn't understand my accent (I live in LA but from scotland) and I would have to type everything I want to translate. I was wrong. This picks up every word and translates lightning fast. This is perfect for every day personal use as well as for work.

Dont buy the full version! It worked fine until I upgraded and now I can't translate anything! I'm so disappointed because this is a really good app. Following is my original feedback... I downloaded this app thinking that it was going to be crap, BUT found that it is hands down the best translator app I've seen! Definitely worth the money for anybody traveling abroad.

I put the ap on before we went on holiday to peru it worked really well there we are going to france next I hope it will work well here too .unbelievably well when trying to get taxi rides. I don't have a clue how it does it but everybody seems to understand so far. really enjoying it

This is a great app, I highly recommend it. Most apps don't have the depth of knowledge to translate properly. I work with a lot of Spanish speakers and it's difficult sometimes to get it critical idea across. This app works great. I've had no problem getting my ideas across and getting the projects done.

I'd love to see a couple of features added to this wonderful app. First, the app should remember the last pair of languages used. Secondly, currently only one language can be spoken into and you have to listen in the other language. A better option will be to allow speaking in any of the two languages in case one wants to have a conversation with another person using the app.

I am not sure about it yet. Its pretty simple to use, and the translations make sense for the most part. (Only tried Russian and Spanish) i work at a fast food restaurant and often have customers who come in that can't speak english that well. This little app may be handy. Will update my review when i get to actually test it out.

I paid for the app. Would have given 5 stars but, I translate from English to Chinese. I close the app and open it and it wants to translate English to Spanish. Have to reset to Chinese every time. (isn't it bad enough we have to press 1 for English?) I was disappointed that there are zero settings. Be nice to have voice, font and color options. I just expected more from a paid app. On the positive side, it's small, clean and no ads.

I am giving this five stars because although I am sure it's not perfect, for me it does what it say' on the tin. Have only tried to learn Czeck for two day's now, with the goal of simply learning three words/phrases a day. But since finding this app I can now say what I mean in English and it will instantly be accurately translated into the language of my choice which is Czeck. I am still shocked at the simplicity of this app. I know I am going to have many hours of fun with this. Thank you app developer

I tried small translations in languages that i am sort of familiar with like french spanish dutch. ' i would like barbecued chicken french fries and salad for instance. It all sounded just right. But then i decided to have some fun. In a number of languages but i am not familiar with i tested the length of the message. Stuff like' hello i am here on holiday i am here for 5 or 6 days can you tell me the way to the nearest railway station and what is the best food to eat in towA great app even if you don't go

Prompted "Listening" box while speaking after pressing "Speak", but when finished it showed another message, "Tap to Speak" while it was thinking, which doesn't make any sense. Despite this - great translation. Tried using it again today under the same settings but translator produced nothing. Also, maybe adding a button to alternate the languages so I could just hand the phone over instead of hunting and pecking each language again. Otherwise, 5 stars.

My girlfriend just got to the back to the states after 12yrs of living in Taiwan. She was really getting hm sick and didnt have anyone to carry on a conversation in Mandrin with... This app helped me enough to give her something to look to each day as I learn more and more.

I am INDIAN ... HINDI is our national Language not English ... Do have a change in ur next update "तुम्हारा सॉफ्टवेयर हिंदी भाषा नहीं जानता ..इसलिए अंग्रेजी में टिप्पणी लिखा है" now find translation of hindi and next time do have a hindi language in your next update.. not english ..

Being an American/Czech I don't speak a word of it. This will help imensely when I travel to Europe next year. It's gonna be fun with 4 different countries to visit
