Photo Translator

I wanted to use this for a Japanes game website called, Phantasy Star Online 2. If you use google chrome, it can translate most of the words for you automatically, but when you get to the image authorization part in JAPANESE! This app CAN'T convert it.

Photo of text is good. Text from photo is good. Translation from either of (1) Chinese (simplified) or (2) Chinese (traditional) or (3) Danish to English are totally useless. Useless being a bunch of words with no correlation to the original.

Do not waste you're money. Worse than useless

I used this to translate some Chinese text to English. I was astonished at how well the text recognition worked, and was satisfied with the translation (I can't read Chinese so I don't really know how accurate it is) Rather than trusting this app to take photos, crop and rotate them, I took (properly rotated) photos with my camera app, cropped them, and then fed them into this app. It worked very well for what I wanted.

I can't comment on how well the app works, because I wanted to translate Arabic to English. However, there is no Arabic option. Please add Arabic!

How can i get my money back? Tried a simple bit of Japanese text on a label and got nothing. Tried 3 times.

I hate this app and who ever created this garbage I honestly can't believe that I was dumb enough to download. To anyone else thinking about it please don't do it

I could not use it from Greek or English to spanish.

I used it for Japanese and it is the worst thing I have wver used....really disappointed

Won't select the image of text i want translated. Takes you to image library lets you select then says no image selected ????

Does not work took a picture and tried to translate it and app crashed. Even paid for pro

It would translate into gibberish. When looking at extracted text, it was nothing like the text I took picture of. Tried several times, came up the sane and not what I took picture of. For fun I took a picture of my knee, it translated it into gibberish. Extracted text was also of something not my knee.

Wish I would have read the reviews first. Translated one image of Japanese into English jibberish then stopped functioning with an error that said file not found. Awesome idea horribly execute.

Got to translate Asian write languages to english. It is worthless. It seems to include a curse in most translation. Will not go direct to english. Japanese to French to english. Weird and bad translations.i am not sure android has anything that works well for translation from pics.

This app just keeps crashing. It translated one picture. All the others I tried just crashed the app. It's a waste of $$.

Even with a clear shot of a single word on a white sheet it can't translate. Tried English-Spanish and vice versa, and sentences of Hebrew-English with either total gibberish or nothing at all for a result.

This is a rip off, scam! It never translated a single word for me. In some instances wouldn't even identify the characters in the picture taken. This is a complete scam application!

Doesn't work free version. Doesn't work paid version. Says file not found every time. Most of the time you can't even select a file.

I keep picking the photo I want translated and it keeps saying no photo picked. So why did I purchase it if I can't use it.

Don't waste your time with it. Doesnt work. Doesbt even translate anything. Definetly don't spend any money on this app.

Tried converting a photo of English text to several different languages including Japanese and all works well. Have yet to convert other languages to English. If that works should be very useful when traveling.

I have tried many differnt languages and it doesn't work. It appears that it just put up random words. I want a refund!

Took a picture of one Asian Language symbol, and tried to translate into English. App could not translate. I want my money back.

japanese ocr does not work properly with any kana fonts i've tried. translations incorrect as a result, probably.

The app does not allow use of picture from library and it makes it useless in my opinion.

Don't buy, the free worker and now none of them work. They got me. Well played
