Learn Russian with WordPic

Хорошо, good app. I only give 4 stars because of obviousness of some choices. Female voice is pretty that repeats the word. And ability to remove the Romanized or phonetic letters is great for me because I learned to read Russian without it and it can confuse.

One huge flaw, is that, when the word first appears, and i select the correct answer without mistakes, then it does not let me see that word again. But its not hard to pick out the truly new picture from the list. It not that i know the meaning of the word, but i know the answer, because i just know, which picture ive not seen yet. When i go to pick out the word to fit the picture, i will struggle with most of them. So yeah, could be way better and way neater.

My wife is Belerusian and I have had such a hard time learning Russian. This app is better than any other way I have tried or used to learn Russian.

Juat started. So far i can tell the words are sticking with me better.

Helpful & pics make it really engaging. Great way to develop vocab and practice pronunciation.

I love this app. It might seem repetetive at first but give it a chance and You'll soon see that there's a good reason for this. The way this is set out allows You to very quickly learn words and I'm sure that the further along I go the better this app will get. I've downloaded seven apps to help Me to learn Russian. Some paid and some free. This is, so far, the best...

Nice app; only things I'd change : More repetition of words Divide words into groups that are accessible through a main menu so we can go back and review words on our own too Oh,and a Russian keyboard would be useful Otherwise a fantastic help; great images!!

I'd prefer an option to turn off the English translation, or to have it hidden unless you tap on something. It would help make a more direct connection in the user's mind between the Russian word and the object in the picture.

I didn't think I could learn any russian so quickly :) I've been trying to learn russian for a while but didn't have the consentration, but this is very good, would recomend deffinatly, keep up the good work

Does what it says. Repetitive word learning. Very easy, good for beginners.

The cards are not random, so you just see what card wasnt there before and thats the correct answe

very slow. audio recordings are very delayed
