SmartQ Reader for Android
SQR can be best pdf reader on android by adding text reflow options. The other features are the best i've seen in any pdf reading software so far. Except for the freehand screenshot option. It does not work as well as it should.
The best PDF reader I have ever used on android platform. Two suggestions: (1) please remember the crop size as well as page number for each file I have ever opened. (2) Also, please add an option to fit page to screen width or height smartly/dynamicly, so that the entire page is always in the screen. I don’t want to change it back and forth, book by book.
Highlights, bookmarks etc are not made to pdf standards so Adobe reader and others cannot see them. Also, smart q doesn't see theirs. Otherwise great reader marred by a simple problem. Please update to use pdf standards. On a minor note, might be useful to have annotation icons instead of text when you highlight a passage, words don't fit on a 7 in screen. Maybe Dropbox integration?
After check for a reader without ads and night mode read and that is small in size, this app have what i need at start... App is loaded with other fine tuning options. Highly recommended!
I have used that app for few years. I was very happy. But when I buy Samsung Galaxy j7 marshmallow version it doesn't find my PDF file. Notice me like that " Memory is inserted and unmounted. But my memory and my device still performing. " Solve this problems please
It is a good app! very fast to load.... but it needs improvement on options, like copy,highlight,underline....etc .these options fonts are too small to see more especially for us who are using small screened devices.thanks .....!!!!
Wow, this is so much faster than any other reader I've used on android, and without the typical glitches that most of the speedy readers have. Nearly instant page loads even on complicated, heavily layered PDFs. Filmstrip-style navigation and a little more work on the English localization are the only things I'd ask for a 5-star rating.
Blazing fast! I've been looking for a PDF reader that can render fast and I've found it! This is top notch if you are looking for speed. My other reader, which is still a favorite of mine, struggles with PDFs. Even scrolling up and down was inconvenient, with everything looking low resolution before the app finally gave smooth render. But this app... Man, I never thought reading PDF would be so smooth. Kudos to the developers.
Awesome app. Love how it bookmarks the pages of of files I have been reading. Other apps keep on going back to first page when I re open the pdf file
I have tried at least half a dozen free PDF readers and this is by far the best. It has all the annotation and highlight features I was looking for plus some nice display features.
One of the best app for reading pdf file as a book shelf. With the help of this apps we can easily read and manage pdf files. Also we manage those apps which apps available in over device.
The way the menus appear is very badly thought. Why does a menu pop up if I zoom in? Also when you switch pages backwards it automatically jumps at the beginning of the page. Apart from that it's great. Useful features.
Doesn't remember where you left off the last time you opened the document and double tap to zoom doesn't auto fit columns of text or images.
It used to work well on my Galaxy Tab S, but for the past few months highlighting and underlining don't work well. Underlining actually crosses out the line underneath. Highlighting does the same, but it's less obvious if you highlight several lines together. I regularly use the pen under annotation feature to draw lines, and notice I can't change thickness of the line. All these features used to work well with my Tab S, but no longer. They still work well with my Note 2, and with the Galaxy Tab 4. I hope you can make it work again.
मेरे सबसे प्यारा pdf aaps है आप भी इस को प्यार करने लगे गे ये मेरा विशवास है
It force closes every time I bookmark a page and exit out of the app, resulting in the bookmark not being saved
I ended up uninstalling it after it did NOT save my notes on a pdf brochure that I had written on after a convention..
By best Im not kidding. Im using android 2.2 but it works very well and doesnt crash or slow down like the others. It does what it says and I love it. I just wish it has a automatic render feature so the contents of the pdf will automatically fit on the screen if you zoom in and I wish you can move the app to SD because its taking much space in my old phone. Anyway this is a great app. A must have! Thanks for creating this :)
First the good news. This pdf reader is very fast - it renders pages in big, image rich pdfs in an almost unnoticeable amount of time. Big thumbs up for that. However, it sometimes crashes for no good reason. Still better for large files than anything else I have tried.

This is an extremely fast PDF reader, but if you need zooming, it is a nightmare. Zooming is broken, full of bugs and impractical. Double tap zooming either makes the page act funny, or displays a black screen. The problem is, when you are on a cellphone or a tablet, zooming is the most essential function. It is a pity, because otherwise, this is an incredible PDF reader. Fix the zooming and this will be one of the best PDF readers for Android. Don't fix zooming, and it is useless.
My initial feedback was excellent: "Much faster than other viewers! Easy navigation bar and other nice features." However, I now changed it into a single star because I find that the set of rights demanded by this application is totally unacceptable, in particular the right to modify the system settings and to close other applications. Recently, after the app crashed on a particular pdf, I went to the settings to remove the launch by default and I had the surprise to discover this long list of rights.
Good and fast reader... But if can make it used in multi window in samsung phablets and tablets, it will be better. And sometime the highlight has some problems if i want to highlight upper sentence then highlight the words in lower sentence the upper one ll lose the highlight. Hope can fix it and get my 5 stars.

I have tried a lot PDF reader such as eZReader and PDF Reader but they are either too bulky or full of ads. I like SmartQ so light-weight and clean blue feel. However, it misses out TTS ability, dictionary and highlight pen. It would be great if SmartQ has all those in near future. Then you will earn five stars from me. Edited: April 20 2015: When will you launch iOS version? very expecting.
I ended up uninstalling it after it did NOT save my notes on a pdf brochure that I had written on after a convention..
Works perfectly on my BOOX T68. Easy and intuitive to use and helps you organize your books and documents. Possible to disable page flipping animations which is great for e-ink displays.
Great app and one of the best design for reading app. But when trying to copy selections the file unexpectedly closes. Hope this can be fixed. Also there should be a direct storage possibility once a file is open. For now it saves by default all the changes made to the original file.
It would perfect, but I get too many notices that the app had stopped working, especially when I try to edit the names of my categories. The whole app closes, and it is frustrating.
Better than most paid apps in terms of functipnality. The scan feature is great and allows quickly adding pdfs anywhere from phone. UI scaling is sometimes a bit off, but the core functionality is perfect.
Lol funny, that u guys use doukan reader too! I wish it could control pdf files right T.T

I have galaxy note 10.1 , really I loved it because it has backgrouns tha relieve your eyes
Managing documents into different folders makes finding docs. easy n simple.
'Unfortunately SmartQ Reader has stopped' if I click on the 'Internet' tab in the main menu. I've Android 4.0 and I'm little bit disappointed of this claimed to be - best reader!
Just spent overnight testing about a dozen reading aps and finally this one hit it. Fast, reliable, no confusing options nor unnecessary controls, gives you user-friendly feel, you can even categorize your books and put encryption, and no annoying ads that block your view and slow the system. Testing it the whole day and no prob so far for me.
I really love this application because its LIGHTENING FAST, but I have large documents that I make bookmarks within...once I close the app, and reopen the same document...I don't see my bookmarks there...please fix this.
This is not storage-friendly app for phones with very tight internal memory. Another well-known app that reads PDFs will allow the app to install on external storage, making sure room is not taken up in internal storage. I sent email asking why app needed forced install to internal memory, but no reply (probably because developers don't know English? web page in nothing but Chinese). So had to uninstall and rate this app low without trying its features. Either allow the app a "Move to SD" feature or explain why it can't.
It is fast. Unfortunately, it doesnt have bookmarks which allow ppl to access the content very fast like adobe reader n foxit pdf

I loved it, this is really a book reader!!! Now it kept crashing.. But I could work it out by openings the books directly from smartq reader as opposed to just clicking on the files and choosing a reader... I'm sure I'll just have to uninstall some other "PDF readers" (SMARTQ READER is much more than that!!!) and it will work even by clicking on the files --- cause I had used it like that for years :):) But it's no problem to use the library at all :) :) I love it, it is really just perfect!!! :)
