Smart Voice Recorder is the open source project for the built-in audio recorder in Android. This Audio Recorder has been designed for high quality long-time sound recording with skipping relative silence on-the-fly. For example, you can use it for record night sleep talks (or snoring:)), business meetings, a regular day of your babysitter, how you sing or play the guitar and so on. It's fantastic! And you may use it as regular voice recorder with simple and nice user interface. Give it a try! :)

How to use the voice & sound recorder?

- Press the file to open dialog to rename file

Decent recording app. I couldn't use my bluetooth headsets microphone but that's not the reason for one star. The reason for one star is the app will throw up advertisement whenever, wherever, AND the app used full screen advertisement. I would give 5 stars because it's functionality works properly but it's very disruptive when advertisement is randomly taking over your screen even when the app is closed. So in conclusion I downloaded this app for temporary purpose and it was sufficient.

It's a good app, but I'm uninstalling it after 1 day because of the ads popping up. The app would be closed and ads start popping up and turning on sounds and stuff. No thanks -- not worth the nuisance.

How on Earth did it get 4.5 stars? Most annoying app I've ever had. Advertisements pop up in the middle of a game, text, conversation, whatever, frequently and not just one ad at a time - I've seen 6 or 8 stacked on top of each other. I used it to record a specific conversation and then uninstalled it.
