Swipe Lock (locker)

This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

Swipe lock is a lockscreen which does not employ your conventional pin/password/pattern. Instead, it uses a combination of swipes. With a secret combination of swipes only known to you, you can unlock your device without looking at it!


I suspect this app may be incompatible with Android 5.0 devices. The settings could be bypassed using the status bar in such devices. Swipes can be made in any of these 8 directions (Up, Down, Left, Right, UpRight, UpLeft, DownRight, DownLeft)

Note that the device administrator has to be enabled for the auto-lock feature to work. However while the device administrator is enabled, you cannot uninstall swipe lock (You will have to first disable the device administrator prior to uninstalling)


For Xiaomi Users: You may be required to allow Swipe Lock to display pop-up windows and enable the autostart feature in order for the app to work properly.
