SLR Booth Pro

App not working. Help pls. I got Canon 80d (wifi is off), am using usb on the go to connect to my samsung galaxy tab 3 with android version 4.4.2 but everytime i run the app it said No compatible camera found.

App doesn't work for my Canon 80D. App keeps disconnecting from my Canon 80D. It's a complete waste of time, money and energy.

Could not get it to show pics on samsung tablet as the camera was taking them.

Greg is amazing! Never have I had such great customer service experience from app companies or with tech support in general! I had a few issues with the app (but it was more of me not being knowledgeable about how to work my equipment) and I got an email from Greg within HOURS of messaging him and he not only solve my issue but walked me through it! Definitely recommend!!!

Whenever my events happen , it doest work!! I'm a wedding photographer, been for 7yrs..so I am pretty knowledgeable. Everything I restarted the app it makes me pay! My wedding day this past weekend , I payed for it 2 or 3 times... I wasn't able to enjoy ourself because we had to worry about the photobooth.. finally we just turned it off... completely unreliable.

Seems good. Curious to see what the paid features will be like but when I try to upgrade I'm getting a Google Play error: "Error while retrieving information from server. [DF-RPC-01]" no matter which type of purchase I select.

This app is very innovative. It didn't work for me because the interface between my older Canon 40D and the tablet was too slow and clunky. The good news is this issue can be detected with the free version if you know what you're looking for. The developers of this app are super attentive and willing to help if asked. The documentation on the site is pretty good as well. My only advice would be to make sure it's working as expected for you, with your specific device/camera combination, before springing for an unlock or subscription payment.

After I installed , it said my camera was incompatible so it was not able to load. I have a galaxy s6:(

There should be pricing for the app with out a monthly cost.. like every other app on the app store. The original was a buy to own app. This is a service charged app now.

Bought the pro version a while back in anticipation of using it for my wedding and now it's locked me out of everything and requires a per use payment!? Don't buy!

I originally purchased this app back in May. Used it for two events and it worked great. Everybody loved it. My phone broke and I had to get a new phone. Downloaded app to my new phone and had to purchase again for only a week's use (original app I purchased was not limited). Set everything up the same as the last two times I had the photo booth and nothing worked properly. Kept taking multiple pictures, wouldnt download and populate template or print. Very disappointed in this version.

Had a bit of a hardware issue in the form of a delay between the camera and tablet. Posted the issue on the website, slightly annoying there isn't an email address or slightly more private way to lodge issues, but either way I don't appear to have had a reply and my comment has vanished from the site.... Somewhat disappointed from that point of view.

I have already paid for the pro app and now says that I need to pay to be pro!!!!! Update: App updated and now I'm not available to load my templates anymore! What a scam!! You just can't change what I already paid for.

Why not use the built in camera? So silly

Probably the most unreliable app ever. Downloaded the free version to see if I would want to purchase the paid version. Horrible... Cosnstant freezing poor interface... Not a fan.

Works pretty fine with my Asus Zenfone 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Canon 70D and Canon 600D. Haven't tried printing though. Hoping to see additional features and keep it up guys, you're doing great. Thanks.

Constant freezing and crashing. I used all the hardware he used in the example videos and it still didn't work. There's no other app like unfortunately but this one left me disappointed.

Generally a great app. Unfortunately the interface with my rather old EOS 450D (Rebel XSi) was not 100% percent reliable and trying to get it all kickstarted again when it crashed was a somewhat frustrating experience. My guess is that this is more related to the old camera than the app, though. Had some prints go astray in magical queuing land as well, so having the ability to reprint was great. Speaking of printing, the custom template option is fantastic! My big request is for better documentation, specifically for the configuration options. There are a lot of recent features for which there is very little information to be easily found. Used on Google Pixel C running Android Marshmallow (had to get a new tablet as I could not get OTG cables compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2).

I bought and used the old app, it was great. Never had a connection problem, I've even used it at a friend's wedding with great success, didn't need to fix a thing. The only problem was the selphy printer was slow and there was no queue. Then this new version came out, I didn't know and updated it , was forced to pay for it again since i had a friend event the same day and all my template and pics was missing. it worked ok but the timing was a bit off. Then for another friend wedding I paid for it again only this time it was crashing and disconnecting all the time. It was horrible, I was embarassed trying to fix the damn thing in front of guest many times. The old version was a lot better, it was very promising and i was looking forward to its development, I won't pay for a subscription to this new version again.

Good diy photobooth app. Worked well with my Canon 60D and Galaxy Tab S2. Could use some more polishing though.

Works flawlessly with my d5100 and LG android tablet. How do I purchase the full UN watermarked version?

Let me begin by saying that this app deserves 5 stars simply because of the after sales support I received from Greg the developer. Every question was responded to in a timely manner with the information I requested and I commend any developer that maintains that level of support. Following that, I would like to make the following observations about the SLR Booth Pro app as below: - This is the ONLY app in the Android store that can connect to an SLR for the purpose of setting up a Photobooth (or the apple store for that matter). There is no competitor so if you want to have DIY Photo Booth your options are limited to just this app at the moment (10/03/2016). - I used a Canon EOS 600D connected to a Samsung Tab A and the setup worked perfectly. I used my own template too. Issues: > The camera has to stay on permanently (without going into sleep mode) otherwise the app stops working. My battery would not last this long and you can't keep the charger plugged in because it's connected to the Tablet. > Uploading to online gallery didn't work (circumvented by uploading to a dropbox folder instead) > Setting to delete original photos doesn't work (camera fails)

Purchased an OTG cable and its not working on my samsung tab E even with net off and specifying to connect to slr booth when connected. So disappointed. I've reset and tried several times

Could be a good app but requires paying $10 for 1-week of use to even determine if it has the features I want. The free version allows you to connect your camera and take single pictures, but does not allow taking multiple photos at once (like a photo booth...). Based on the pictures in the google play store for the app it looks like it has that ability, but I am not paying $10 to find out that it does or doesn't and then pay another $10 for the actual week I want to use it. I would pay $10 to use the app if I knew that it gave the functionality I am looking for, but there is no free trial of the full app (with templates). Add a 4-picture template to the free version and I would consider testing and buying. It also doesn't rotate for landscape view. Maybe there is a setting for it - but I have not found it...

Brand new tablet and camera and this app failed me miserably. Kept retaking the photos and not saving them. Crashed multiple times until I gave up and asked for a refund. Will never recommend.

New version pricing is ridiculous. Old version won't even work anymore on my tablet. Congratulations on ruining your product, guys.

This app has all the features you could want to run an amazing photobooth. It allows you to keep things very simple for a quick and easy booth, or you can utilize many advanced features to create a very sophisticated photo booth. Amazing APP! The customer service and continuous improvements have been great also!

Not sure why this app has such a small number of ratings. As far as I know there is no other app on the market that offers what slrbooth does. It is the only app which allows you to make a dslr camera centered - android operated photobooth. Awesome product.

Perfect for making your own little photobooths, providing you have all the hardware already. A couple of little bugs and issues here and there (sometimes I have to force-reset the app to have it connect to the camera properly, and sometimes the 4-photo template gives a blank photo), but aside from a couple of those teething issues it's great. Devs were quick and helpful in responding to a question I had, and even included the solution in the 1.6.3 update. Great service! Will definitely recommend this app.
