About RC Speak (Demo)
RC Speak provides spoken information for position, lap time, gap in-front, gap-behind and race status for the selected driver. It allows user configuration of what information is announced, how many decimal places are given and speed of the spoken announcement.
Since RC Speak uses your devices text to speech engine, you can change the voice, announcement speed and volume depending on your devices abilities.
RC Speak is only compatible with Race Coordinator slot car lap counting software (http://www.racecoordinator.net/). RC Speak uses Race Coordinators built-in web server via a user configured WiFi network to provide voice information for for driver position, lap time and gaps. See the documentation provided with the Race Coordinator lap counting software, for full details on configuring and using the built-in web server.
RC Speak has been developed and tested in the UK by members from 2 UK based slotcar clubs. The HO Racing League (http://www.thorl.co.uk) running HO weekend races and Wiltshire based Four Lane Blacktop (http://www.flbt.co.uk).
This demo version will only provide information for the first 7 laps.
