MYNT Smart Tracker and Finder

App plays really quiet tune when item is detected as out of range instead of actual warning alarm. It also disconnects quite often for no reason. When I open app a week later it says "updated about 8 days ago" then suddenly updates and says "recently updated". Company provides ZERO customer support. Also goes through batteries very fast even though they say it lasts a year. And guess what.... You can only buy the batteries from them since they use a non standard battery.

This app is nowhere near as good as it should be as it's unreliable and missing important features. I bought three MYNT Trackers. Sometimes they connect straight away and sometimes they don't. There should be an option to take a photo of your tracker so it's easily identified on a map. I couldn't use the separation alert without being connected to wifi. That's ridiculous as I don't always have wifi connected. It should just work on Bluetooth.

Always loses connection. I have a Zerolemon battery on my phone and it has 3 days worth of battery enough to keep my Bluetooth on all day. This app is useless

Got MYNT 3 months ago, and the app has improved greatly through successive updates. Located wallet/phone several times. Useful to check if wallet is buried in bag without hunting. Replacable battery lasted 3 months but cold of Canadian winter may be factor. Both map types show no features and is white in recent updates. Will buy more shortly.

It's not as responsive as one would expect. Just installed it and started using my first Mynt and it seems pretty slow to me. Also I can't find the "remaining battery lif" feature that has been mentioned in a youtube review of the product. Is that a feature now removed? Hoping for a faster upgrade soon as I'm not intending to return the tracker. They all work in the same way but the other apps (Tile and Nut) have way much better features I'd like to see on the Mynt app too.

Nice hardware, trash app. I wish there was option to give zero rating for this app. Please do not waste your money.

A few minutes ago I realized I misplaced my keys somewhere in the house and used the MYNT app to find the keyfob. Works as claimed and I'm happy with the product. :-)

Complete trash! The hardware is nice enough but the software is garbage. It took several attempts to even get the software to detect the hardware; the firmware update process failed several times and I gave up; once I did get the hardware registered, half the UI elements in the software didn't work; the UI elements that did function lead me to believe that the software is an extremely quick and dirty port of the iOS version. To add insult to injury, when I tried to use the software to find my keys, a few days after setting it up, it prompted me to log in again--and my login details don't work. Ok, perhaps I typo'd the password--twice--when setting up my account; I'll tried to reset the password only to be told that I'd attempted to do so too many times. I tried to reset my password via their web site and that doesn't work either--hilariously the 'forgot password' page tells me that I need to log in--with the password that I want to reset--to continue! Oh, and to add insult to injury, the software requires every permission under the sun!

I have an s7. Once paired my device ran terribly slow as though I had a virus. My auto text stopped working along with spell check. For some reason it needs access to my keyboard.

Lost item go's off for no resion. Phone and device inches from each other. People should put out a fully tested product before making the consumer be the tester.

Great if it worked. constantly making both the phone and the mynt chip go off even at home and work. the mynt chip is not loud enough to find if not in a very quiet atmosphere. the app crashes every time the Wi-Fi is turned off...uninstalled and looking for something else.

Idea is great, but it doesn't work. Keeps crashing on my LG and the find it button just makes Bluetooth disconnect. Useless product.

Constantly disconnects the device from my phone. I also must keep the app running in the background for it to work at all.

Makes my Galaxy s5 crash.

The new app version (3.x) does not work properly on the Galaxy S5 (Android 6.0.1). I was able to control music (start, stop, fast forward) in the previous app version (2.x) with no issue. Now pressing the Mynt button does nothing. Also of concern: if the app is not in your recent apps list running in the background, phone location (holding Mynt button down) will not work. Previous app did not have this issue. I enjoyed Mynt when everything worked, not sure why those features are broken now

Working much better now since email validation has been fixed, but I still think I should only have to register if I want more descriptive tracking. Basic features such as the proximity alerts shouldn't require registration. Also, the application slogan, "No Lost, All Found, Control Everything," is poorly worded.

When bluetooth is connected, it is recognized as a remote keyboard, so my phone disables the default. Bye bye predictive text. Also, im not sure if I am using the device/application to its full potential due to limited instructions. Also, there are times when device is right next to my phone and will not connect via bluetooth. I'm not sure if I should throw this in the garbage or wait for it to be fixed...

I bought a couple MYNTs for my wife's wallet and purse. The 4.0 app just stops on her Android 4.3 phone during pairing. The app works fine on my Android 4.4.2 phone. Can't even enter the Slightech account password entered on her Android 6.0.1 tablet. Very frustrating. Not very useful if I cannot get the app to work on one of her devices. On the other hand, the 2 Mynts I got for my daughter worked great on her iPhone.

"No Lost All Found" Please, if you're selling a product into a different language consumer market, get a native speaker to write everything. In english we'd say "nothing lost, everything found" or "no lost items, everything can be found"

This is annoying especially when it's 20 dollars to get the tracker itself, if you're going to have it be that expensive it would be great if said company would put time and money into the app before hand so that customers can actually use the tracker, if the app is crap then the price for the tracker should go down drastically or you could at least offer some sort of response to complaints.

Works ok, but needs an option to keep running in the background all the time. I have to plan to lose my phone in order to find it as it stands

the device is cool but sometimes the phone won t connect even the device is close ... a scan button would be great.

This is really a good apps. i relly like this Device. Device is pretty good. Build quality is good, and it functions as advertised. Only problem is app. I was expecting that once connected it will always run as background service. But it is not.So every time you restart mobile, once it booted up you have to take the app again and connect again, which is a painful activity. Except that i like the entire idea and quality. Please improve the software and make this a great device, hope you guys also like this application, thank you

I was one of the backers of MYNT when it was still in indegogo and I have noticed a lot of improvements to the product since it was first launched. The app has become more aesthetically appealing and there had several firmware updates on the device itself. But this doesnt change fact that MYNT totally has a very unstable connection. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Even its app keeps on crashing. And the worst part is that the item can easily get broken. Quality is very poor. Totally not worth it.

Very frustrating I cannot depend on it every time. Appears to autonomously decide when to work and when it does, often asks if I forgot an item that is within two feet of the phone. Crashes several time per day yet manages to pop up with "Have you forgotten (this) item?" May or may not ping the fob or vice-versa. Several times the app has pinged the fob at random with no action from me! Feels like I paid to be a beta tester! Updated 12/12/2016. Battery expired after two months. Completely dead!

Wow love the app. So cool and very helpful app to control many things via my smart phone. It makes my daily life much easier . Have a simple feature and can be use by everyone . In one click gets everything. Features are awesome. Thank you up loader.

Battery lasts a month, and the junk faub falls apart when you try to change it.

Do not buy! The battery will last for 2 to 3 weeks. I have had nothing problems.

Bought this stupid thing, download the app and when trying to make an account it tells me that the email format is incorrect.. App uninstalled and returning the stupid device that does not work because you can't reach someone from the company for support. DON'T BUY! Read the reviews on Amazon!! I wish I would have.

This app is not stable and crashes all the time. Mynt also connects and disconnects all the time.

Needs a one click widget to find item

The app crashes every time I turn my phone's wifi on or off. Every time. It is also kinda flaky about showing when a mynt is connected.

I have to say, I just got one, and the app is awful. Keeps crashing on my LG G5 running marshmallow 6.0.1 I'm contemplating returning this device due to the poor app which is sad. I wanted to love this. Is anyone working on improving? Is there hope still?
