SleepRate: Sleep Therapy, Tracking & Analysis for Android
Basic functionality, data gathering and information analysis is good. Some of the manually required data ranges do not work as regardless of the score you select it still results in the same assumption everytime by the App.
Overall this is a great app. I use it with fitbit and the results are usually very similar. They also offer advice and suggestions as to how to improve your sleep.there have been a few times I know I've been awake that it hasn't picked up but they are all guessing and using clues like heartbeat and noises to work that out, so if you are lying still and trying to go back to sleep it won't know the difference. I wish you could go back to the initial questionnaire and update responses there.
I got my circadiam rythm corrected with this aop which also improved my CPAP scores & breathing. I didn"t have a heat monitor to add. But even so, my overall health has benefitted tremendously. I followed all the advice, suggestions & the big one - I looked at my pattern with noise & sleep disturbance. There's a huge correlation. As much as I love my dog, both he & I get better overall sleep apart. He barks, growls & moves about much more than I realuzex. I follow the challenges just luke it says - these experts know what they are talking about. So, if you yourself will be a grown adult & use this device like it is intended - be & take responsibility then you too will have a 5-Star Rating. Anything lower when one reads their review is super obvious that they are not folliwing instructions as si much more to this app than just recordibg noises.
good app, but kept crashing while i have wifi
It's a good thing to have AND use when you want to track ur sleep!
Great to monitor your sleep and HR over night.
Wouldnt allow to sign up thru the fbook login button.
Says it works with smart watch,it doesn't even find my samsung gear
Best alround application I have used for the last three years or so
Good app.
This is great
One night it said I slept 8 hours the next 2? Hmmm
This was really an amazing app. Is it possible to reset and start the therapy again?
Poor information even after payment. No deep/light sleep info, hence not a good evaluation of sleep data (taken from Garmin)
Very helpful analysis and tips. Pairs well with FitBit heart rate monitors.
Think it's quite good to get into good habits
Best tech, best science, but app user daily interrogation is annoying. Two buttons 1)start 2)stop is all that I need to get what I care about. Superfluous data collection is enforced by app. I want to opt out of manual data input.
I think it is great because I like how you can turn it off so it doesn't disturb you. I like that you can make an alarm on it. I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CAN HEAR THE THINGS that happen
First of all Android wear app is not at all a stand alone app. Secondly the i have to input in a app as now I am sleeping track my sleep. Are you kidding me?? I expected it auto detects my sleep.
How come when it says in the therapy to be up before 12pm. I am up at 9am and it gives me a sad face instead of a happy face. How come.
Bit difficult to judge it's effectiveness when the free plan is hardly much more info than jotting down the times in a notepad. I do have a tracking device (Garmin) and was looking for something to supplement's Garmins tracking which does not seem to include HR. But the free plan doesnt seem to show enough of the app's strengths to warrant a purchase.
Data Upload speed has improved considerably. Also, the data in this app seems to be a lot more accurate than the app for my actual sleep band.
Full of bugs, can not start new challenge or assessment
This app is decent, but really seems to require a track device to be useful. I use it to track sounds, but it'll it record 19 seconds of sound per 'incident' which isn't as useful as it could be.
I'm sick, I slept in to 11, it says I got up at 9. The app has a repeatable issue that makes it's "tracking" data unreliable and their for useless! It does recorded your snoring.
Seems decent so far. Wish there was questions relating to irregular sleep. Also wish there was some way to track nights without sleep that isn't just not tracking.
I love everything about this app, except for the fact that it can't sync to Samsung health, only Google fit. That's kind of a deal breaker. If a future update fixed this, I'd give the app 10 stars if I could!
You should let us edit our sleeps after inputting info damnit. Sometimes people fall back to sleep after putting it in. I can edit notes and dreams but not the actual tracker? This is b.s. Also the fact that it's always assuming we're asleep at night, when some people have to sleep through the day is really annoying. I'm keeping this till my 1st week assessment shows up. If I agree I'll keep it as annoying as it is to use. If I don't I'm taking it off my phone and looking for another app. I don't have the patience for this app acting up, especially when my sleep is already jacked up.
Just because I'm an 8 year old doesn't mean I wish to have a restless sleep! Why can't I use this app? Sure I'm young, but I still can't sleep at night! So I'm giving this one star and getting a sleep tracker that allows me to actually use it.
Disappointing. Doesn't connect with my Samsung watch. Will continue using the app I already have.
This is the greatest app I have heard some creepy noices when I sleep now I know I snore Im only 10 but I still use it
It did not put any relaxation music
Not what I am looking for ????????
Trust that it will help, when evaluating the given information.
So far I'm not impressed with this app at all. First off, it will not connect with my Gear Fit 2. Also the Sleep analysis from last night, seemed basically to Parrot it back to me the information that I gave it in several questions prior to going to bed and after waking up. I will give it a few more nights, to see if anything gets better. Will update my review if it does.
It's ok, but seems to have the same general information as my fitbit. Although I do like that I can add notes. My only concern is the FAQ/help directed you to an email, where an actual FAQ would be helpful. Like, do I put my phone on the bed or night stand? If you're using a fitbit, does it matter? I guess it didn't give enough general instructions, for me.
Originally downloaded a year ago but could never get sensor to work, now excited by more options I tried again but despite pairing with my Moto360 MkII it could not find it when starting sleep tracking and with my dedicated HR belts, despite showing my HR on screen all night with my Rhythm+ or TickrX the app reports 'device error' in the morning. Good job premium features are free at the moment because I'd not pay for it as it is.
Works great gives you an overall assesment of your sleep and advice to better it.. nice app
Worked fine 5 out of 7 nights. One night, when I pressed to start sleeping, it had problems communicating with my polar h10 chest strap, while other apps didn't. Eventually I got it working by restarting my phone. But then, in the morning another disappointment struck, as when I pressed Yes I woke up, the app came back to its home screen and my sleep permanently vanished. Unlike fitbit, the free version of this app does not show sleep phase or HR time charts. You only get summary. Initially, I was happy with the noise features as they helped me identifying noises which affect my sleep. However, this night it did not detect any noise, not even that one when my wife woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to stop snoring. My phone was only 50cm from my head. Another disappointment I got this morning, when the app gave me a tracking device error message. My phone was only 50cm from my chest strap for the entire night, with strava it works no problem even with 1m distance. The message refers to some troubleshoot guide which does not exist in the app. It would make life a lot easier if there was a hyperlink inside the message to that guide wherever it is.

I have bought Sleep Monitoring plan and I am dissatisfied. There is no way to delete wrong (i.e. test) sleep session. Moreover, Text-2-Speech converts russian letters to question marks "?" after a while, so there's no way of tracking dreams or taking notes.
