The app is the only means for controlling the SAM, which is a good ultra portable single axis GEM mount. However, the aesthetics of the app at somewhat primitive. The command buttons, such as "run", are in a smaller font and not well placed for a thumb tap. A missing feature is the ability to leave the motor running so the camera carries on tracking while individual test shots are taken and examined. I'm also being frustrated by the apps refusal to connect to the mount even though the phone is connected to the mount's WiFi. Better diagnostics might help locate the source of the problem.

App has most functionality that's needed (mirror lockup would be nice), but app won't connect to SAM unless cellphone data is turned off. This needs to be fixed.

Lots of useful functions, but can't be set to track unless in a sequence. One network preset only.

I will give 2 stars here! What I cannot understand is since you guys can do it with wifi, why cannot make it connect with an OTG cable via android phone too? From my point of view, I believe it can do it. I am sure older version of star Adventurer will not have the opportunities to install wifi module, So, I really hope that you can make this dream come true as well. P/S: Please make a good habit of replying customers/users email ASAP. Thank you.
