Master jeweler and goldsmith Reggie Akdogan, originally from Istanbul, Turkey, now a long-time American citizen, established The Precious Gem in 1980. His business started out as a small workshop in Williamsburg, Virginia, before moving to its current location in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, VA. Reggie is widely respected by his professional peers and is a prominent member of the Williamsburg community.
