SkyGolf 360

Finally after Feb 7 2017 update was able to sync through bluetooth! (Moto Z Play/Android 6.0.1 <--> SkyCaddie Touch) (Before that, they "paired" in bluetooth. They just didn't sync.) It's slow, but now it works. Had to go to Android Settings / Storage / Apps / SkyGolf 360 and delete all cache and data, then log in again, then be very patient while pairing devices and starting sync. Upgraded my rating from 3 stars to 4. I'm learning the shortcuts and tricks. Like not touching the screen while I pull it from the pocket of my bag, like using the up/down buttons to score the previous hole while I'm walking from the next tee box, so that it doesn't forget the "mark" for the ball on the new tee. Getting to like it.

Waited 7 months, after ordering the Sky Caddie Linx GT, to receive. Today, I downloaded the SkyGolf 360 App and tried multiple times to pair the App and the Linx GT with no success. I am using the App on a Samsung S5, which shows that it is paired with the Linx GT, but the App cannot pair. What a joke! I know better than buying first generation anything, especially after a 7 month delay in release. May be returning if customer service doesn't address my concerns!!! Email devoloper DOES NOT WORK!

Very disappointed that this does not provide notifications with my new LINX watch. Would not have bought if I knew that. Any idea when they might add this capability?

Updated review (one year on) It won't sync with my Touch despite trying everything. It is soooo slow to start and, ok, it is slightly more accurate than my Garmin G8 but at least the Garmin I turn on and use; period. With this damn thing I end up preferring to use a strokesaver. Total shame because the SGXw was great until it died when 16 months old and just out of guarantee of course. UPDATE - NOTHING HAS IMPROVED and Skycaddie do not care.

This won't connect the SW2 to my Samsung S7edge, Bluetooth says paired, but it isn't. Either the app is defective or the SkyCaddie is. My phone connects to multiple BT devices all day except for this watch. Horrible.

I waited 6 months for the linx gt, and it will not sync through blue tooth with my galaxy s7 edge. Please fix this app. No update since September 21 2016

Way too slow. Almost non responsive . Makes me wonder about the quality of the software in the skycaddie units themselves.

Very slow, buttons are mostly unresponsive. Liked to have never been able to create account.

Once you get in it is hard to get out. You get locked in a loop until you are lucky to get an error message.

They have no idea. One guy there says did not work on his S5 phone and turned in a ticket. 2 weeks later no ticket turned in. Next techie blamed it on me for not working. HUH? I gave up. The Linx works fine. GREAT. 360 APP sucks. bass_gas

Everytime i try to log in it says invalid username and login. I know my information is correct.

If you're thinking of buying the Touch, don't. Big downgrade from SG5.

Love this app, great way to keep track of my game!

Works on droid turbo with touch so far will see again after a couple rounds if loads up.Faster download than USB. Will adjust rating after tested. Did take two times of install and uninstall before it would work right though.

Sky Caddie Touch will not connect to my Galaxy Note 3, rendering the app useless. SkyCaddie support have been less then helpful.

This works much better than the old USB synchronization!

Works well with my Galaxy S4.

Feels like a packaged html5 app. Doesnt cache scores or stats. Doesnt use screen real estate correctly on either my phone or tablet. Stick to the website.

I tried to get them to put both skygolf account and skygolf 360 account with same username and password. They don't seem to have the techs that can complete this task.been a member for nearly years and thinking this will be my last.

Started the download and let it run overnight and it's still not completed. What a piece of @#$%. It's like shooting an 8 on a par 3...total disappointment

The concept is great, the actual functionality is horrible. It will not connect with my skycaddie touch. When it does, it s taters there is errors and will not sync all the info. Tried to sync today, 8 times, then finally received an error notification. With today's technology you would assume that this would be a hassle free operation. This is so bad. ********update about the update. It made a very poor app worse. It won't allow me to log on or access it.

I have an S6. App syncs perfectly with the skycaddie touch. Not sure why people are complaining about Bluetooth and sync issues. Happy to not have to sync with USB. Easy to add new courses. Could be better but newest update a significant improvement.
