I couldn't figure out why my battery was draining? Even when I wasn't using my phone. So I went to the battery settings to see what apps where draining my phone? Well I found out this lumen tool bar. was sucking 38% of my battery power! Go figure and even though you can disabled it when you restart it will eventually come back. Now my question is why do the manufacturers put these apps in our phones and no way to remove it unless it's rooted? Lol. After all these are our phones why do we put up with this?

Takes up space and memory n prabably steals information. I hate this app . Make option to delete completely from Android as in Now! Go. I disabled app and it enables itself without acknowledgement. stop doing that. Pissed

R70%
by R####:

So annoying. Auto updates even if you have that option turned off. Reenables itself if you disable it. Most annoying app ever. Wonder how much they pay cell companies to spam ppl with it on their phones....Must be alot

OK look even if this was a good app it just wouldn't make up for the fact you can't get ride of unless you have a rooted device and I can't root there isn't a method for my phone yet! But I promise the first thing I'll do is get ride of this annoyance! It's crazy even if you disable it when you reboot it enables itself!!!! Wtf is that about? Oh even when I have it disabled I see it come up in list of background running apps!?!?!?!? Please make this thing stop and go away! HELP ME!?!?!? Please......

The 5 star reviews are clearly all shills. Hey Skyfire/Google, I bet you guys could make even *more* money if you charged people 99 cents to get this trash off their phones permanently. Just an idea.

Can't be uninstalled or disabled. Keeps enabling itself and updates over network instead of waiting for WiFi. Nothing but annoying. Having read the previous replies I have tried that the app still updates when it chooses and doesn't go away. If you were really sorry that your app is a piece of crap there would be a way to permanently remove it so shove your "sorry" where the sun don't shine.

1-28-16. IT'S BACK! CAN'T GET RID OF IT! Lumen stopes me from being able to use Internet or apps. Pops up all the time, will not close, so I have to shut down searches and restart constantly. I uninstall it several times a week and it just keeps reappearing. It is malicious!

U70%
by U####:

This is not just worthless, is utterly annoying as it is impossible to uninstall, or disable. What's the goddamn point of forcing this stupid app upon me!? Why should I accept this burden!? And at what point did this become acceptable!? You should all be ashamed of yourself.

U70%
by U####:

I do not want this bloatware taking over my screen and system. Every time I manage to stop, hide or disable it, it comes back again. Uninstalling is not allowed. It even sends alerts to your phone while disabled! Worst app I have seen.

U70%
by U####:

ATTENTION ALL CLICK ON THE APP ICON ON YOUR HOME PAGE AND TURN OFF DATA TRACKING, THEY ARE PULLING INFORMATION FROM YOUR PHONE WITHOUT CONSENT. How clever... your app is trash. Sprint is also trash for allowing your program to be permanently installed into our phones to collect data.

How is that Possible? I thought I had to download every AP I wanted? Not happy here and on top of it what does it actually do? I called Virgin Mobile and the Rep couldn't give me a Reason. How funny is that .. Not to me cause its taking up to much of my Space! Unfair. Unhappy. I pay my bill every month and should say what I want and what I don't want!!

I am Not sure what to do with this app. I know that it takes up a little piece of my browser for a second or two. I know that it takes up space on my phone. I also didn't ask for the app and why it's in here. But I guess when it tells me if I disable it it might cause a problem for other apps I am then forced not to disable it because I don't want a repeat performance of crashing my phone again or messing up other apps.

Y70%

Eats battery life like a parasite, and is totally useless to me, yet I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. Built in bloat ware. Thanks Sprint and Skyfire. Because I really want to share all of my info with you, 24/7, really...

X70%

Are garbage they end up taking space and in this case the disable feature is a joke. At least allow me to properly disable and not be forced to continuously update after its disabled then I might change my rating.

U70%
by U####:

Works great. No issues, so its only fair i rate it the highest possible. And I do not know what everyone else is talking about with spam. I havent had any at all. Sounds like, to me its something else. Not even a single pop up!

I love this tool bar. I don't really know what else to say. It's kind of one of those things that is either useful to you or its not. For me its extremely useful and convenient because i don't have to minimize any of my current Windows in order to pause and do something else, like check Facebook. I love it.

The developers of this app tell you to disable it in the settings, I do that & it keeps coming back! Even when I disable all of the options, it updates & all my previous opt-out options are GONE, it signs me back up for analytics, turns on in my browser's..THEY LIE!! I hate this app! It came pre-installed on my phone and I cannot uninstall it! If you are going to make us have this app on our phone, at least allow us to delete it if we don't want to keep it! Give us that option, don't force us to keep it!

Can we please get an option to completely REMOVE THIS APP? I AM SICK AMD TIRED OF THE POPUPS ON MY TABLET ALL OF THE TIME.

S70%

Remember the Bonsai Buddy on Windows pc's? Well I do. This toolbar comes preloaded on all sprint device's. You can disable it but it's not really shut off. You can not uninstall this unless you have root privileges. If their is any reason to root your phone, this is it! It has fixed that small lag I get while scrolling pages. Don't be scared to root. Do your research and remove this junk asap.

U70%
by U####:

Way to many ad's and just duplicated the same information as on my HTC highlights app. It also cluttered my phone with all kinds of junk files which in return slows down the performance. Don't waste your space boys & girls! :-)

I hate this from bottom of my heart! I hope that this is NOT gonna be in the new phones. And then get rid of the Smith (which is a spyware) too.

U70%

This is the dumbest app ever not only does it work like crap it just slows the phone down i haver it on an s5 and it blows the creators of this need to rethink aome things

Why can't I delete or even disable this spyware? Every time I uninstall updates and disable it it reupdates when I turn on my phone. This is the most annoying app I've ever had to grapple with.

U70%
by U####:

This was forced onto my device and i will do all i can to remive it completely. Any app that cannot gain users with being forced onto a user is evil in my book and will do all i can to circumvent. This app is nust spyware and an avenue for id thieves to get your information

U70%
by U####:

I am constantly having to disable and uninstall this stupid app. It's seriously pointless. I hate that it just helps itself and congress back on its own even after being disabled. Ugh make it stop. Please let us get rid of it. I'm also wondering why some people gave it 5 stars yet complained about how much they dislike it. I don't understand that. We're they confused and thought 5 was bad and 1 good? Please make this app disappear!

U70%
by U####:

Force stop it and the annoying thing pops up.. useless an bull it won't stop and can't make it go away!!!! Why have a force stop if us can't make it go away.. wouldn't give 1 star but only way to tell you it's ANNOYING!!!

Never gonna use this data mining ap so why don't I have a choice to take it off my phone?

S70%
by S####:

When it comes preinstalled and you cannot delete it, it gets rather annoying. It's like buying an apple to eat but all you get is core because that's all that you got. I didn't pay for this app and I never would. Simple as that.

U70%
by U####:

Congratulations. Because I can't get rid of it when I disable it (Lumen defaults enabled when I restart my phone) you have jaded me against your company and ALL of its products. I feel assulted. This toolbar is raping my psyche.

U70%
by U####:

But can't. Comes preinstalled on Virgin Mobile phones, and all I can do is uninstall updates. I've managed to permanently disable it. But it takes up much needed space. It's not worth keeping, and I never wanted it. Work on making it uninstallable on Virgin Mobile phones!

Really begining to hate payong so much for a phone only to have all this junk i dont want. Time for marketing to be controlled, its getting old google, might ditch android next time around if there was only a zero

I tried changing the settings but the bar still won't work properly sometimes. I do like that I am able to share with my social networks through a bar that goes with search engines. I am okay with the small malfunctions because there easy to work around.

U70%
by U####:

I disable it, the app re enables itself, it interferes, with my abilty to view things I'm looking up or watching on YouTube. I find it useless, I've had my phone for almost a year and I've never found a use for it that warrants it taking up space on my phone. I would uninstall, but it's a factory app. Hate it, hate it, HATE IT!

U70%
by U####:

I will not be purchasing anymore Sprint or associated companies phones or service as long as malicious, uninstallable, adware, tracking software is included on their devices. This includes Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. It is impossible to uninstall this app from your phone without rooting it. This app not only pushes pop up adds at you constantly while eating up all your high speed data but also tracks everything you say and do on the web and reports it back to Sprint who then sells the data as analytic

U70%
by U####:

I don't even use the default browser strictly chrome and have no use for toolbars of any kind on my mobile device, however unlike Google's built in apps, which are a minor irritation to disable, this thing will constantly attempt to update itself even if you have it disabled because it has the permissions to do so. Sorry skyfire, but there is no logical reason for an app to be so persistent in it's update procedure that it becomes impossible to remove or disable by conventional means,

U70%
by U####:

I saw elements of the tool bar moving around screens that the toolbar was not even on. Someone from Skyfire was navigating at will through my phone. My phone was a rooted M8, and Isaw LOTS of strange things. Check out the permissions!!!!

E70%

I love the Lumen Toolbar because am able to go to certain sites and I don't have to download the apps. Some apps take a ridiculous amount of space on your phone.

Y70%

This toolbar really comes in handy. I fought it off for the longest, but I recently gave it a try and I love it!
