Sky Event Finder for Android
1) Final additions and corrections for 2016.
2) Major events (eclipses, meteor showers, solar transits) now updated through 2024, including total solar eclipse visible in USA in 2024.
Could be awesome if the calendar could be downloaded to Google calendar / ical or is format
This app is really disappointing for locating events taking place in our sky and space above earth. It didn't even list the near earth asteroid that recently passed so close to earth and it has even missed a few other astronomical events. There are other more accurate apps than this. What a disappointment !
What you have here is the foundations of a really good app. The content is great but the display and layout was a little basic and clumsy to navigate(maybe it was just my phone? Galaxy sII) I think with a little work on the menus and sizes of fonts (they were far to large for me to read and i couldnt zoom out) you could have yourself a very handy tool for all skywatchers.
A good and useful begining. Need to fine tune: adjust font size down for example. Am usung a Samsung Galaxy III. Your suggestions would be apreciated.
This apps is just what I have been searching for easy t o read and understand. GREAT Edd
Saw it on iPhone and happy it's here on Android. Fun and easy to use. Let's me know what's worth looking for in night sky. Didn`t know about those comets this year!
