The 0800 Wizard. Now you can call freephone numbers and get PAID for it!
As of July the 1st, Ofcom updated the rules to allow 0800 and 0808 numbers free to call from mobiles.
Therefore we have updated the 0800 Wizard allowing these free calls but with a twist.
By combining the freedom of the 0800 Wizard's '03 conversion' and the power of in-app call credit, the 0800 Wizard can now be a nice little earner.
The 0800 Wizard swaps the freephone number you want to dial with an 03 number. The charge for calling 03's is already in your bundled minutes so you're not losing out there. If you exceed your bundled contract minutes (or you are a PAYG customer) then the calls are simply charged at normal networks rates.
You can't lose.
The intercept feature remains (you can toggle on and off from the settings menu) which means you can still dial freephone numbers DIRECTLY, using your phone's dialler.
You can use the 0800 Wizard to make calls to 0800, 0808 and 0500 numbers for free or you can register for a Wizard Account and start earning money.
A "Wizard account" is an in app credit "pot" that you top up via in app payments or save money with calls made via the 0800 Wizard.
The money earned making calls to freephone numbers will accumulate in your Wizard account allowing you to withdraw it to your PayPal account, or similar, when you reach £5.

It would get a five star if it covered other numbers also. So far for 0800, it's great as my mobile provider charged me for the 0800.

General good but if the number in my phone contacts includes a comma (i.e. pause to include the conference id) then it does not show up in the wizard contacts.

Thank you for this amazing app. And it works perfect too. Even if I don't click on the app to type in an 0800 number and just use the phones dialer it catches it for me and dials an alternative money saving number. Plus I have monthly minutes and so it automatically uses my monthly minutes. Awesome. Just Awesome..

Have used 0800 wizard for about a year due to work reasons. It's great the app now pays you...only downside is takes ages to build money up...The app pays out to PayPal once you reach £5.00, I have used 0800 wizard for 17.36 minutes so far and made £0.07 that's the only downside about the app but all in all its a great app & worth downloading =)

Does what it says, good app. Ultimately though the best thing is to go with plans or carriers like giffgaff that have always been free to 0800, keep your number, save a packet on all calls, unlimited data, text & 2000min £20/month, happy days

I created an account, said in would get email to verify. No email arrived, checked all mail spam etc. Can't log in, can't create new account cuz says this phone already connected to an account . Please help! Or will give 1 star ,&uninstall
