The WJCT Public Broadcasting App allows you to listen and watch WJCT Public Broadcasting radio and television, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WJCT with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming

I would get this a five-star rating, but when I close the app it stays in my notifications and won't exit. It doesn't matter if I even clear it from the active applications on my phone. I have a LG G4 phone. This should probably be addressed by your techs.

I love local NPR, but the broadcast cuts off, requiring me to unlock my phone (Pixel) and press Play again. I don't know if the problem is the app or something else. It happens often enough to be a nuisance sometimes. But the sound quality is very good, the app is intuitive and it's a great convenience having NPR on my phone.

The streaming cuts out after 5 minutes and requires hitting the Play button again, limiting its use dramatically. I'm hopeful that this issue will be quickly resolved with the next update. A previously excellent app, it used to make the transition from my home wifi to cellular data very well. It allowed me to listen to Morning Edition (and First Coast Connect and Diane ...) as I walk or ride, not just while I'm at home or in the car. And it lets me listen to all the other great local content at my convenience. This is a better feature of supporting the station for me than the Passport, even though this is free!

I came to download this app because the NPR app is awful, and cuts out all the time.....But an app has to turn on to cut out, so I guess I need to go back and give that app 2 starts now.

There's nothing good about this app. Visually, it's a mess. Navigating through it is a nightmare. It freezes on me, it freezes or reboots my tablet, and I have to force a stop to close it down. Scrap it, examine similar apps, and start from scratch.
